If you live in North Guwahati and want regular help for your child, this NXTutors page is the place to start. It belongs to the Maligaon, Jalukbari & North Guwahati zone, whose four pages also take in Adabari, Jalukbari and Maligaon. Teachers listed there may be glad to teach your child, so they are worth reading.
Home or online is often the first decision. A tutor at home can see how your child writes and works through a problem, while an online class lets you choose from a wider set of teachers for a demanding subject such as physics or accountancy. Some families combine the two, with a weekly visit for steady practice and an online session for one specialist subject. Try both if you are unsure.
Whatever you choose, give us the class, the board and the chapters covered so far, and mention whether your child prefers Assamese, Hindi or English for explanations. The matched tutors' fees are visible in advance. Use the demo to ask how they would handle a topic your child has struggled with for a while. Ask too how they would like you to help between sessions, and how much practice they expect each week.
