Tutoring work through NXTutors

NXTutors is now taking on home, online and hybrid tutors across India, and women tutors are especially welcome. Tuition work here does not come from job adverts. It starts when a parent sends a request with the class, board, subject, area and hours they need; we then put forward two or three tutors whose profiles fit, the parent sees each tutor's fee, and the first class is a free demo for the family. If the family goes ahead, you teach them directly, as an independent tutor.

Home requests are matched nearest first: tutors who live in the family's area, then tutors who travel there, then the wider zone and the city, and online tutors after that. Online requests are matched on subject, class and board, so you can teach students in any city from wherever you live. The pages below cover each state and each city where we have zones, with the boards families follow there, from CBSE, ICSE and ISC to the IB, Cambridge IGCSE and the state boards.

Before a profile is shown to any family, the tutor's phone or email is confirmed by code and a government photo ID is reviewed by our team; real tutors who clear that review display a Verified badge. Tutor plans cost money, and /pricing sets out what each covers. We cannot tell you how many students you will get or what you will make: that depends on your location, your subjects and the time you can give.

How you get tuition work on NXTutors

  1. Sign up with a one-time code

    Join on the website or over WhatsApp. A code sent to your phone or email confirms it is you; then pick home, online or hybrid and fill in classes, boards and subjects.

  2. Upload your ID for the ID check

    From the dashboard, send us a photo of a government ID, front and back. Someone on our team checks it against what you wrote; one document number, one tutor account.

  3. Your profile carries the Verified badge

    Cleared? Your profile carries the Verified badge, and parents can read your classes, boards, the places you reach, your hours, your teaching language and your fee.

  4. A family nearby sends a request

    Somewhere close to you a parent asks for help. Out of every tutor who fits, two or three are put forward: closest first, then the zone and city, then online.

  5. Free demo; the family sees your fee first

    Your fee is visible before the parent books, and the opening lesson costs the family nothing. Use it to teach, on whatever chapter the student has in school right now.

  6. Teach at home, online or both

    When the family says yes, lessons happen at their home, over video or both, on days you fix with the parent. Update hours and places as your week fills up.

For women tutors: you set the terms

Women who tutor are particularly welcome, for home visits, video lessons or a mix of both. You keep the decisions: which mode, which neighbourhoods, which hours, and whether to continue after a demo. Profiles appear only after the code check and our review of a government photo ID, and real tutors who clear it display the Verified badge.   • Teaching mode is a single choice on your profile, and you may change it.
  • Neighbourhoods you leave off are never used for your home requests.
  • Parents read your available hours before they ask for a demo.
  • A parent is present for the opening lesson with every family.
  • Visits to gated societies can be entered in the visitor app or register.
  • Fees, timings and messages are arranged with the parent alone.
  • Pull out of any arrangement whenever you need to, and let us know on WhatsApp.

How does tuition work reach a tutor on NXTutors?

Through requests from families. A parent gives the class, board, subject, area and hours; out of the tutors who fit, two or three are put forward, closest first for lessons at home, and the parent can see each fee before booking a free demo. After that you teach the family directly, as an independent tutor.

Are tutors on NXTutors employees?

No. Every tutor is independent and there is no salary or employment contract. You fix your own fee, decide where and when you teach, and choose after the demo whether to continue. What we offer is a way for families who need a tutor to find you.

Can I teach online from anywhere in India?

Yes. Pick online or both on your profile. Video lessons are matched by subject, class and board, wherever you happen to live. Settle the call and whiteboard tools with each family before the demo, and send the link to the parent's number.

What is a hybrid tutor?

Someone who teaches in students' homes and over video. That can mean separate home and online students, or one student taught both ways, such as visits on weekdays and a video session the night before a test. Tick both modes and agree the split with the parent.

What does the ID check involve?

A code to your phone or email proves the contact details are yours; then a government photo ID, uploaded from the dashboard, is reviewed by our team before your profile can be seen. Real tutors who clear it display a Verified badge. It is an identity check, not police verification; /how-we-verify-tutors has the detail.

Which boards can I teach through NXTutors?

Whichever you have taught: CBSE, ICSE and ISC from CISCE, the IB, Cambridge IGCSE or a state board. Every state and city page names the boards families follow there and links to the official sites. A request always says which board the student is on.

Do tutors pay to join NXTutors?

No. Joining and onboarding cost nothing, and the Free plan comes with 160 lead credits a month. The paid plans listed on /pricing are optional subscriptions for extra visibility, AI tools and more credits, never a fee to apply for a tuition. Separately, you decide what to charge families per class, and parents see that figure before any demo.

Are women tutors welcome, and what controls do they have?
