Kerala has two tuition-jobs pages with zones, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram, and tutors living in either city should pick their zones there. If you are in Kozhikode, Thrissur, Kollam, Kannur, Kottayam or another town, this page is your route in. Put your town and nearby localities on your profile, because home lessons are offered to the tutors nearest a family before anyone else is considered. You can also teach online, which is matched by subject, class and board instead of distance, so a tutor in Palakkad can be shortlisted for a student in another state.

Kerala students may sit the SSLC through Pareeksha Bhavan or study under CBSE, ICSE or another board, and the medium can be Malayalam or English. State each clearly. For higher secondary syllabi, the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education is the authority to check. For every request, the parent sees two or three tutors and the fee each has set; the first class is a free demo for the family, who can switch later if the match is not right. Pareeksha Bhavan, Kerala (with DHSE for Classes 11–12)

SSLC (Class 10) and related examinations; Higher Secondary under DHSE

Pareeksha Bhavan conducts the SSLC examination together with SSLC (HI), THSLC and AHSLC, the LSS and USS scholarship examinations and K-TET. For Classes 11 and 12, the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (dhsekerala.gov.in) is the authority; its site did not load when we checked, so confirm the current Higher Secondary pattern there directly.

International Baccalaureate (IB)

Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes

Who sets the SSLC examination in Kerala?

Pareeksha Bhavan conducts the SSLC and related examinations such as THSLC and AHSLC, and publishes results on its site. If you teach Classes 11 and 12, the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education is the body to check for syllabus details.

Can a Kozhikode tutor teach online?

Yes. Online requests are matched on subject, class and board, so a tutor in Kozhikode, Kannur or Kollam can be shortlisted for students anywhere. Home requests stay local and go to the nearest suitable tutors first.

What happens after a parent sends a request?

We shortlist two or three tutors, nearest first and then wider. The parent sees each fee, books a free first class, and decides. Switching to a different tutor later costs the family nothing.

Is a police certificate needed?

Where can I compare tutor plans?

Can a woman tutor in Kerala teach only online?

Which boards should a Kerala tutor list?
