Matching for home lessons looks at distance first, offering a family's request to the closest suitable tutors before widening, so the town and localities you list decide which requests can reach you. Online lessons run on a different basis: class, board and subject. A tutor in Bhilwara or Sikar can be shortlisted for a student anywhere in India.
Rajasthan students may follow the state board in Ajmer, CBSE or another board, and study in Hindi or English. Write each on your profile. The board's 2026-27 Class 10 syllabus, which uses NCERT books for science and maths, is on its own site and is a useful thing to know before a demo. Every request ends with a shortlist of two or three tutors, the family sees the fee you set, and the first class is a free demo. Senior Secondary tutors should name the stream, Arts, Science or Commerce, and their subjects.

Secondary (Class 10), Senior Secondary (Class 12: Arts, Science, Commerce)
BSER, at Ajmer, conducts the Secondary and the Senior Secondary examinations in Arts, Science and Commerce, along with Praveshika and Varishtha Upadhyay in Sanskrit education. Its 2026-27 Class 10 syllabus sets the main subjects as one 3:15-hour paper each, worth 80 marks plus 20 sessional marks, and uses NCERT books for science and mathematics.
Classes 1–12; board examinations in Classes 10 and 12
Our Jaipur page counts CBSE among four broad systems families there follow. Because RBSE Class 10 uses NCERT books for science and maths, a tutor may find the chapters familiar across both boards, but paper style and marking differ, so plan CBSE lessons from the current sample papers on cbseacademic.nic.in.
ICSE (Class 10), ISC (Class 12)
ICSE and ISC form another of the systems on our Jaipur page. Tutors used to RBSE or CBSE papers should allow for the council's broader syllabus in some subjects and its insistence on full working. List ICSE and ISC separately and keep cisce.org's specimen papers to hand.
Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes
A smaller group of Jaipur families follow the IB, our city page notes. The Diploma combines final exams with internal assessment, and maths comes as Analysis and Approaches or Applications and Interpretation at Standard or Higher Level. A Rajasthan tutor with IB experience can teach it online beyond Jaipur.
IGCSE, usually around Classes 9–10
Our Jaipur page describes Cambridge IGCSE as exam craft: command words, the right tier and past papers marked against the official scheme. It sits with the IB in a smaller group there. Tutors who have prepared IGCSE students should name the subjects and tiers they know.

Kota tutors with senior physics, chemistry or maths can name the exact Class 11 and 12 subjects they teach and whether they cover JEE or NEET level problems. Ajmer is where the Rajasthan board has its office. Tutors here who prepare Secondary or Senior Secondary students can draw on the board's syllabus documents, and those who teach Sanskrit education courses can list Praveshika or Varishtha Upadhyay separately.
Bikaner tutors choose their own fee and can vary it by level. Parents see the figure before booking a demo, so set it for the classes you actually teach; a clear figure up front avoids awkward talk after the first lesson.
Alwar tutors should refresh their hours each time a slot fills. Requests are matched against the timetable on your profile, and an accurate one keeps you off shortlists you would only have to turn down.
Bhilwara tutors who teach Hindi or Sanskrit can name the classes and say how they work on grammar and writing. BSER also runs Sanskrit education examinations, so mention Praveshika or Varishtha Upadhyay if you prepare students for them.
Sikar tutors with Secondary board-year students can explain how they use the 3:15-hour paper format in timed practice. A family in its board year wants to see that plan, and a demo built on a real paper shows it.
Bharatpur tutors should give the exact locality they live in before any wider travel list. Home requests move outward from the family's address, nearest tutor first, so a precise base is what puts your profile in front of nearby parents.
From Sri Ganganagar, online lessons let you teach students across Rajasthan and beyond while home lessons stay local. Mark both modes, give separate hours if needed, and agree a pattern with each parent during the demo.
Pali teachers who know the RBSE Class 10 pattern, 80 marks of paper and 20 sessional, can say so with the subjects concerned. A parent may ask how revision will follow the real paper, and the demo is the place to show it.
Tonk tutors who have taught both RBSE and CBSE can list each board with its classes. The family's request names the board it follows, so covering both, where you genuinely have experience, widens the shortlists you can join.
