Nine Uttar Pradesh cities have their own tuition-jobs pages with zones: Lucknow, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Agra (/tuition-jobs/agra), Varanasi (/tuition-jobs/varanasi), Prayagraj (/tuition-jobs/prayagraj), Kanpur (/tuition-jobs/kanpur) and Meerut (/tuition-jobs/meerut). Tutors living in any of them should pick their zones there. For Bareilly and the state's many other towns, this page is the way in. Put your town and nearby localities on your profile. Home requests are offered first to the tutors nearest the family, and only then to the wider zone, city and online tutors. Online lessons have no location rule, so a tutor in Gorakhpur or Jhansi can teach students elsewhere in India.
UP students may be on the UP Board, CBSE, ICSE or another board, in Hindi or English medium. Write each one you teach. UPMSP's 2026-27 Class 10 syllabi, model papers and question bank are on upmsp.edu.in, and reading the relevant one before a demo helps. Each request ends with a shortlist of two or three tutors: the parent sees the fee you have set, the first class is a free demo, and the family can switch later. Intermediate tutors should name their subjects as well, and High School tutors can add whether they help with project work.

The tutor signs up from any UP town with a one-time code on phone or email, then adds a mohalla or colony, the places she or he will visit and online availability.
The tutor uploads a government photo ID from the dashboard. Our team reviews it while the profile waits as pending, and that ID number cannot open another tutor account.
The profile carries the Verified badge after review, showing UP Board, CBSE or ICSE classes, subjects, Hindi or English medium and the tutor's own fee.
A family nearby sends a request with class, board and subject. Two or three tutors are shortlisted, starting with the nearest, then the zone and city, then online.
The family already knows the tutor's fee, and the first lesson is a free demo for them, taught on the chapter the student is doing in school.
If the family continues, lessons go ahead at home, online or both, on days fixed with the parent, and the tutor keeps localities and hours up to date.

High School (Class 10), Intermediate (Class 12)
UPMSP, set up at Prayagraj in 1921, prescribes courses and textbooks and conducts the High School and Intermediate examinations. Its 2026-27 Class 10 maths and science syllabi each set a 70-mark written paper with 30 marks of internal or practical assessment, and 33 to pass. Model papers, a question bank and a month-wise academic calendar sit on its site.
Classes 1–12; board examinations in Classes 10 and 12
Our Noida, Ghaziabad and Greater Noida pages call CBSE the most common board there, and our Lucknow page says it is widely followed. A UP tutor who teaches both CBSE and UP Board should label each class, because the papers and internal marks are set out differently.
ICSE (Class 10), ISC (Class 12)
Our Lucknow page describes a strong, long-standing ICSE and ISC presence in the city, and the NCR pages list a steady following. A tutor taking ICSE English or ISC science should know the council's prescribed texts and specimen papers, and show complete working in every demo answer.
Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes
A smaller number of Lucknow and NCR students take the IB, our city pages say. The Diploma mixes final exams with internally assessed work, and its maths runs as Analysis and Approaches or Applications and Interpretation at SL or HL. Elsewhere in UP, IB tutors can reach these students online.
IGCSE, usually around Classes 9–10
Cambridge IGCSE serves a smaller group in Lucknow, Noida, Ghaziabad and Greater Noida, according to our pages. Preparation is largely technique: command words, the Core or Extended route and past papers with mark schemes. A tutor in Meerut can take Noida or Ghaziabad students online straight away. For home lessons, the nearest tutors are offered first, so a Meerut address mostly brings Meerut families; add exact NCR localities only if you really travel there.
Bareilly tutors who would rather not travel can set the profile to online only. A request's subject, class and board decide the match from then on, not your address. Agree the video app and the class link with the parent before starting.
Students in Aligarh who tutor between their own lectures should offer a timetable they can keep through exam season too. Parents read your hours beside your fee before they pick a demo, and gaps that appear later are hard to explain.

Gorakhpur teachers who spent years in a classroom and now take private students can describe the classes and subjects they taught, without naming the school. A parent reading two or three profiles looks for that concrete detail.
Jhansi tutors whose strength is the early years can show Classes 1 to 5 on a line of their own. Families with a child in those classes want different things from a Class 10 family, and keeping the two apart makes shortlisting more accurate.
Saharanpur tutors might run a mixed week: visits to students nearby, video sessions for those further off or for revision before tests. Showing both, with hours for each, lets a parent pick the arrangement that suits their child.

Yes. Tick both modes, give your home colonies and add online hours if they differ. One student can also be taught both ways, such as home lessons midweek and an online session before tests, if the parent agrees at the demo.
