Tutoring in Nanded: what to know
NXTutors plans home tuition in Nanded across four zones, three on the north bank of the Godavari and one on the south. Vazirabad and Shivaji Nagar is the centre of Old Nanded, with Hyder Bagh on its eastern side and the Hazur Sahib Nanded railway station close by. Anand Nagar and Vasant Nagar groups three neighbouring colonies, Harsh Nagar among them, north of the Hingoli Gate junction. Taroda and North-West Nanded runs from Taroda, Chaitanya Nagar and Ashtvinayak Nagar along Canal Road to Pawdewadi and Wadi Bk. New Nanded and Waghala covers the south bank: Waghala, Kautha, Vishnupuri and Dhanegaon. Shared rickshaws reach much of the city, so a tutor without a vehicle can still build a steady list of homes.
Most Nanded students you meet will be State Board learners heading for the SSC exam after Class 10 or the HSC exam after Class 12, and the medium varies: Marathi, English, Urdu or semi-English, where maths and science are taught in English. Others study CBSE or ICSE and ISC, and IB or IGCSE learners usually work online. Marathi is the language most families speak, with Urdu and Hindi also common. HSC science students often prepare for MHT-CET, JEE Main or NEET (UG) as well, many at coaching classes, and some tutors here teach at such classes too. Put each board, medium and language you can teach on your profile.
You can teach at students' homes, online, or both. Picture a request from a parent in Vishnupuri. The shortlist of two or three begins with tutors living in Vishnupuri itself, moves to those with students there already, and then widens to New Nanded and Waghala, the whole city and online. Your fee is visible to the family before a free opening demo, and they can change tutor later without paying. The river divides the city, so add just the colonies you can get to on time each week, on your own bank or across it, and offer online lessons for the rest.

1
Sign up with a one-time code
Sign up and enter the one-time code sent to your phone or email. Fill in what you teach: subjects, classes, boards from the State Board to CBSE or ICSE, the medium you use and the Nanded colonies within your reach.
-
2
Upload your ID for the ID check
Next, upload a government photo ID. Every tutor who joins completes this ID check, which establishes who you are; it is not a police or background check.
-
3
Your profile carries the Verified badge
Your profile then shows parents your boards, the colonies you serve anywhere from Taroda to Vishnupuri, when you are free and what you charge, and the Verified badge appears only after the ID check is complete.

4
A family nearby sends a request
Imagine a request from Chaitanya Nagar or Canal Road. The shortlist of two or three looks first at tutors resident there, next at tutors who teach there already, then across the zone, the city and online.

5
Free demo; the family sees your fee first
Parents know your fee before they book. Your first lesson with them is a free demo in their home, with a parent asked to be around; use it to gauge level, medium and which hours school and classes leave open.

Teach at home, online or both
From there, visit homes in your chosen colonies, take online students from the rest of Maharashtra or anywhere in India, or blend the two, perhaps a Saturday visit in Kautha and video lessons on weekdays.
Boards you can teach in Nanded
Nanded students who may need you include State Board learners preparing for SSC or HSC in Marathi, English, Urdu or semi-English medium, CBSE pupils, ICSE and ISC candidates, and now and then an IB or IGCSE learner, nearly always online. Build State Board teaching on the present state textbooks and mahahsscboard.in; CBSE teaching on NCERT and the sample papers; CISCE teaching on what cisce.org publishes; and international teaching on each programme's subject guides. Your profile should say plainly which boards, classes and mediums you cover.
MSBSH
SSC (Class 10); HSC (Class 12)
Its two public exams are SSC, after Class 10, and HSC, after Class 12. For the board's administration, Nanded belongs to the Latur division along with Latur and Dharashiv. Find out at the demo which medium the student uses, Marathi, English, Urdu or semi-English, and keep your explanations in that textbook's language. Rely on mahahsscboard.in alone for timetables, patterns and circulars.
Begin each CBSE topic in Nanded with the NCERT chapter itself, and move on to the board's sample questions and marking schemes from cbseacademic.nic.in. A child who has switched from a State Board school will have met some maths and science chapters in another sequence, and the first weeks should go on filling those holes. Class 11 and 12 pupils may be working towards JEE Main or NEET (UG) alongside.
CISCE
ICSE (Class 10); ISC (Class 12)
Both CISCE exams reward full, well-set-out written answers over many subjects, and English brings set literature texts. Plan with the Council's own documents and specimen papers, and give literature and projects a little time every month so the last term is for revision. You can also take ISC students from other cities online.
IB
Diploma Programme (Classes 11–12)
IB Diploma learners in Nanded mostly study with an online specialist who teaches from the subject guides on ibo.org. Helping a student plan the Internal Assessment or Extended Essay, or commenting on a draft, is fine; writing any of it is not. A fixed weekly video slot that respects the school timetable works well.
Two boards offer IGCSE, so check which one the student sits and at what tier before planning anything; past papers, mark schemes and the meaning of each command word then carry the revision. Cambridge's syllabuses are online at cambridgeinternational.org. Nanded learners on IGCSE generally find steady online lessons with a specialist the workable option.
