Choosing a tutor for a child in Uzan Bazar is easier when you know how this page works. Tutors who live in Uzan Bazar or name it among the places they travel to are listed first. If nobody has done that yet, the cards continue with tutors from Paltan Bazaar, Pan Bazar and Ulubari, the other pages of the Old City & Riverfront zone, then Guwahati as a whole and finally online tutors; each card says why it is shown.
The more we know, the better the suggestions. Give the class, the board and the subject, the chapter your child is on and how school tests have gone this year. If your child learns science in Assamese at school, mention it, because some tutors explain better in one language than another. Note the days and times you can keep every week. Weekend mornings are fine to suggest.
When the matched tutors arrive, compare their experience with your child's class and board, not just the fee. Your first lesson costs nothing, so watch how the tutor responds when your child gets something wrong. Patience at that moment says a lot. Ask how they would plan the next month, too, and how they would let you know what has improved.
