Altinho is one of four NXTutors pages in the Central Panaji & Altinho zone of Panaji (Panjim), listed with Campal, Fontainhas and St Inez. When you ask for a tutor, those who live in Altinho or travel there appear ahead of anyone else. If no one has added Altinho yet, the list continues with the rest of the zone, the rest of Panaji, and then online tutors from Goa and across India.
Tell us your child's class and board. If the school follows the Goa board, the GBSHSE publishes SSC and HSSC examination information, and a tutor used to its textbooks can follow the same chapters. Students on CBSE or ICSE should mention their board too, along with the textbook in use.
For Chemistry or Maths in the senior classes, think about whether you want a tutor at home, online or both. A shortlist of two or three tutors follows, each showing a fee before the free demo, and you can judge their teaching in that first class before any regular lessons are fixed. Ask, too, how the tutor would set out a revision plan in the weeks before school tests, and whether some lessons could move online when visits are hard to fit in.
