Most students need a tutor for one or two of these, not all five. Maths and science are the usual pair. Online makes the last row realistic: a 30-minute session the evening before a paper needs no travel on either side. It also keeps tuition going through school trips and family travel, which often fall in the middle of the year.
Full papers are the part of Class 10 that most families think needs a tutor in the room. It does not, if the routine is set up once.
The fifth step is where marks are gained. A paper that is written but never reviewed is practice in timing only.
From 2026, CBSE holds two board exams for Class 10. The main exam, from mid-February, is compulsory. A second exam in May is optional and lets students improve in up to three of science, maths, social science and languages. Internal assessment happens once. The dates for 2027 are CBSE's to announce, so check cbse.gov.in.
For online tuition this mostly matters after the main exam. Prepare for February as the real exam.
