Now taking on home, online and hybrid tutors · in Sahibabad & Rajendra Nagar, Ghaziabad
This zone follows GT Road through the long-settled colonies of Sahibabad: Rajendra Nagar and its numbered sectors, Lajpat Nagar in Sector 4 (not the Delhi market of that name), Shyam Park, Shalimar Garden with its Extensions, Shaheed Nagar at the Dilshad Garden border, Pasonda, and Mohan Nagar with its large markets. Almost everything here is plotted. Families live in builder floors and independent houses, often above ground-floor shops in Shalimar Garden, and many have been in the same lanes for years.
No open home-tuition requests in Sahibabad & Rajendra Nagar right now. New family requests appear here as they come in; add Sahibabad & Rajendra Nagar to your travel areas so they can reach you.
For a tutor, that means no society gate to clear in most homes, and a neighbourhood where word of a reliable tutor travels between families. Apart from a few low-rise apartment buildings, the job at the doorstep is simply finding the right door, and the job over a term is turning up at the same hour each week. Joining is free; you set your own fee.
The Red Line does most of the work. Since 2019, stations at Arthala, Mohan Nagar, Shyam Park, Rajendra Nagar, Raj Bagh and Shaheed Nagar have run above GT Road, close to most colonies, and Sahibabad Junction and a Namo Bharat station add rail links from further afield. A tutor coming by metro usually walks or takes a short e-rickshaw ride from the platform.
What slows a tutor down is the road rather than the train. GT Road fills at office and factory shift changes, the inner lanes of Lajpat Nagar and Shalimar Garden are narrow, and parking a car is difficult, so a tutor arriving by metro is often the more punctual choice.
Requests here come from settled family homes across the school range: primary children who need a daily routine, middle-school maths and science, Class 9–12 board subjects and senior science and commerce. Ghaziabad's board mix applies, with CBSE the most common, ICSE and ISC steady, and UP Board families a real part of the picture, some asking for Hindi-medium lessons. A smaller IB and IGCSE group is usually served online.
NXTutors starts the list for this zone with tutors living in these colonies, then those who travel to Sahibabad or Rajendra Nagar, then the wider city, then online. Tutors from East Delhi on the Red Line, from Dilshad Garden onwards, can reach these colonies with a single ride, which makes this a natural zone to add if you live there.
Most homes open straight onto the lane, so ask for the block, house number, floor and a landmark; a house number together with the nearest Red Line station saves a wrong turn on the first day. In Shalimar Garden, where many families live above shops, ask which staircase or entrance to use.
A few low-rise apartment buildings have a guard or a register; ask the family whether you need to give your name in advance. Otherwise, there is no gate formality, and the first visit is mainly about finding the door on time.
Avoid slots that clash with office and factory shift changes on GT Road. Late-afternoon and weekend lessons usually start on time, and a tutor on the metro can keep a later weekday slot more reliably than one on the road.
If you teach several students here, group them along one stretch of the Red Line, for example around Rajendra Nagar and Shyam Park, so a single trip serves two or three lessons. Families in these colonies often know one another, and a tutor who is punctual and clear with parents tends to hear of the next student without looking far.

A family request that fits your subjects, classes, board, areas and hours reaches your dashboard. Opening the family's contact details uses lead credits, and the credit price is shown on the request before you open it. At most 5 tutors can open one request, and a request stays open for 7 days. Credit packs are there if you need more.
You set your own fee. When a family pays for classes through NXTutors, you receive 50% of the fee for home tuition in the first month and the full fee after that, and 70% of the fee for online tuition every month. Payments are held for 7 days, then paid out weekly. How you get paid.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
Mostly no. Nearly all homes are builder floors and houses that open onto the lane. A few low-rise apartment buildings keep a register, so ask the family.
Stations at Arthala, Mohan Nagar, Shyam Park, Rajendra Nagar, Raj Bagh and Shaheed Nagar run above GT Road. Ask the family which is closest; it is usually a short walk or e-rickshaw ride.
Late afternoon and weekends, away from office and factory shift changes. A tutor on the metro is less affected by road traffic, and can often keep a later weekday slot for a student returning from school or coaching.
Yes. The Red Line runs from Dilshad Garden across the border through these colonies, so East Delhi tutors can reach them in one ride.
Often, in the narrow lanes of Lajpat Nagar and Shalimar Garden, where many homes sit above shops. The metro to the nearest Red Line station and a short walk, or a two-wheeler parked where the family suggests, is usually simpler and keeps you on time. Mohan Nagar's market roads are also busy in the evening.
