Umpling completes the six-page Laitumkhrah & Rynjah zone on NXTutors, and its glance table shows Laitumkhrah, Madanrting, Malki and Nongthymmai beside it. Rynjah, the sixth page, is part of the same zone. Browse those pages too; someone teaching there might also come to Umpling.
Before the search begins, gather a few things: the school diary, the textbook list and the most recent report card. These tell a tutor more at a glance than a long phone call. Note the days your child is free after school and any activities that cannot move, so the tutor can offer times that really fit your week. If something specific worries you, such as slow reading or a subject your child dreads, add a line about it, because it changes how the first lesson should feel.
If your child is preparing for a board year, think about how revision will be spread out. A good plan covers the syllabus first, leaves several weeks for mixed practice, and keeps one session each week for questions your child brings from school. Invite every tutor to describe, during the demo, how that plan would look for your child, and compare the answers before you choose.
