Kasumpti is one of six pages in the Chhota Shimla, Kasumpti & New Shimla zone. The glance table lists Chhota Shimla, Khalini, New Shimla and Panthaghati alongside it, with Vikasnagar also part of the zone. A tutor who visits any of them may happily add a Kasumpti home, which makes those profiles worth reading before you decide.
If you are weighing up tuition for a child who is doing reasonably well, the aim may be stretch rather than rescue. Say so. A tutor asked to deepen understanding, set harder problems or prepare for an olympiad will plan very differently from one asked to fill gaps, and the demo will feel quite different too. Mention the class and board as well, and the chapters your child has enjoyed most.
For a child who is struggling, the first few weeks are about finding where the trouble began. Often it sits a year or two back, in a topic the class has long since left behind. A patient tutor will go back to that point without making your child feel small. At the demo, ask how those gaps would be found, and how soon they expect your child to feel the difference in class.
