Home tuition jobs in Old Noida

Old Noida takes in the first sectors at the Delhi end of the city, from Sector 14 by the Delhi border and Sectors 11 and 12, through 15, 15A, 17 and 19 to 22, on to Sectors 23 and 25 to 31 and 33. The housing shows its age: kothis and builder floors on authority plots, many allotted in the 1980s, large RWA-run colonies of flats in Sectors 21 and 25, Noida Authority LIG and MIG flats in Sector 22, and older villages such as Nithari in Sector 31 and Chaura Raghunathpur in Sector 22. Sector 15A, where the DND Flyway lands, is low-density bungalows and villas.

Open tuition requests in Old Noida

No open home-tuition requests in Old Noida right now. New family requests appear here as they come in; add Old Noida to your travel areas so they can reach you.

For a tutor, Old Noida is the simplest part of the city to work in. In most lanes you ring a doorbell rather than clear a gate, homes are close together, and the metro reaches deep into the zone. It also sits next to Delhi, so it is the natural first Noida zone for a tutor based across the border.

Getting to Old Noida

The Blue Line crosses from Delhi at New Ashok Nagar and then stops at Sector 15, Sector 16 and Sector 18 stations and at Botanical Garden, where the Magenta Line also halts, so many homes are a walk from a train. A Delhi-based tutor has both a road route, the DND Flyway landing at Sector 15A, and a metro route into the zone.

What slows tutors down is the evening build-up on the approach to the DND and at the Film City Flyover and the Mahamaya Flyover, plus crowded streets around the Sector 18 market. If you travel by metro, tell the family which station you will use so they can give simple walking directions from it.

What families in Old Noida ask for

CBSE is the most common board in Noida, with ICSE, IB and IGCSE also taught, and UP Board schools present too. Old Noida's long-settled families ask across classes, from primary all-subject help to senior subject specialists, and short distances let a tutor teach several of them in one afternoon or evening.

Because so many homes are near a metro station, families here are open to tutors who commute by train from other Noida zones or from Delhi, which widens the work available to you if you live along the Blue Line.

Society entry and visitor norms

In houses and builder floors there is no gate pass to arrange; you go straight to the door, and the parent is the one who meets you. In the managed colonies of Sectors 21 and 25, expect a gate entry: Sector 21 is largely an RWA-run colony, and Sector 25 is a housing-board colony first built for armed-forces families, so the family should give security your name and timings once before the first class.

Ask where to park, because older lanes and the roads around busy sector markets fill up in the evening. Tutors who join NXTutors go through an ID check; it is an identity check, not a background check.

Timings that work in Old Noida

Book outside the evening rush towards the DND and the Flyovers, especially if you come from outside the zone. Afternoon slots after school are the easiest to keep. Heavy monsoon rain can slow evening travel here, so agree an online fallback for those evenings with each family before the season starts.

Market evenings around Sector 18 are the other pinch point; if a student lives near the market, an afternoon slot or a weekend morning avoids it. Because trips between homes are short, you can usually fit two or three visits into an afternoon in neighbouring sectors, starting with the one nearest the DND before the rush builds.

Joining, leads and pay

Joining is free

Applying, onboarding, building your profile, the ID check and receiving matched requests on the Free plan cost nothing. The Free plan gives you 160 lead credits every month.

Paid plans are optional

Pro, Premium and Featured are optional platform subscriptions: more visibility, AI tools and more lead credits. They are never a fee to apply for a tuition. See tutor plans.

How leads and credits work

A family request that fits your subjects, classes, board, areas and hours reaches your dashboard. Opening the family's contact details uses lead credits, and the credit price is shown on the request before you open it. At most 5 tutors can open one request, and a request stays open for 7 days. Credit packs are there if you need more.

How you get paid

You set your own fee. When a family pays for classes through NXTutors, you receive 50% of the fee for home tuition in the first month and the full fee after that, and 70% of the fee for online tuition every month. Payments are held for 7 days, then paid out weekly. How you get paid.

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.

Questions from tutors

Which sectors make up Old Noida?

Sectors 11 to 33 at the Delhi end of the city, including 14A and 15A and the sectors around the Sector 18 market, such as 17, 26, 27 and 28. Sectors 34 to 53 form Central Noida.

Can a Delhi-based tutor reach Old Noida easily?

Often, yes. The DND Flyway lands at Sector 15A, and the Blue Line enters from New Ashok Nagar at Sector 15. Evenings towards the DND are slow, so a class before the rush suits such a tutor better.

What is different about Sectors 21 and 25?

They are managed colonies of flats rather than plotted houses, so expect a gate entry. Ask the family to give security your name and timings once.

Is parking a problem?

Around sector markets and in older lanes in the evening, yes. Ask the family where to park before the demo, or come by metro to Sector 15, 16 or 18 or Botanical Garden and walk.

What about the monsoon?

Heavy rain can slow evening travel, so agree an online fallback for those evenings in advance.

Is joining free?

Yes. Joining and onboarding are free, and you set your own fee. See how you get paid further down.
