Science tutor jobs in Noida

In Noida's tower societies, it is common for several families on the same floor to have children in Classes 6 to 10, and science is usually the subject where homework first turns into a struggle. Physics numericals, chemical equations and biology diagrams all arrive in the same year, and parents want one tutor who can teach all three calmly and properly. A science tutor who lives inside a cluster of towers, or along a metro line that reaches them, can build a full week here.

Who asks for science tutors in Noida

CBSE Classes 6 to 10 are the core. From Class 6 to 8, parents want the NCERT chapters taught with their activities and diagrams, and help when projects pile up. Class 9 brings motion, atoms and tissues together, and Noida's own city guidance notes that gaps left in the middle-school years show up in Class 9. Class 10 requests centre on chemical reactions, light, electricity and life processes, practised with CBSE sample papers.

ICSE, widely taught in Noida, has Physics, Chemistry and Biology as separate papers in Classes 9 and 10, with longer answers and precise terms, so families want a tutor who marks for wording as well as ideas. UP Board families ask for High School science, where the paper format, a long paper with a reading period and an OMR multiple-choice section, needs its own practice.

Some Noida schools teach IGCSE, and those parents ask about Core and Extended tiers and the practical or alternative-to-practical paper. Home sessions suit younger children most, and one or two sessions a week with a patient tutor is usually enough below Class 9.

Where in Noida the work is

Sectors 74 to 79 are tower country, laid out as large group-housing plots with parks and shops inside each cluster, and density there works in a science tutor's favour: one evening can cover two or three families in neighbouring towers. Pass your name to security and the block before the first class, and keep the same weekly slot so the guard recognises you. Aqua Line stops at Sector 50, Sector 76 and Sector 101 bring tutors in without driving.

Old Noida's plotted sectors, around the Sector 18 market and the Blue Line stations at Sectors 15, 16 and 18, are doorbell visits with no gate pass, which makes short trips between houses easy. Near Noida Extension, in Sectors 115 to 122, some societies are still being finished and getting in through Gaur Chowk is slow at peak hours, so a tutor who already teaches in the same cluster is the steadiest fit there.

Central Noida, from Sector 34 to Sector 53, mixes plotted lettered blocks in Sectors 50 and 51, group-housing blocks that need one visitor-list entry, and village pockets such as Morna and Baraula, where a map pin and a parking plan help on the first visit. With Blue Line and Aqua Line stations across the zone, it is the easiest part of Noida for a science tutor who does not drive.

What families in Noida expect

  • All three strands taught well at the class level listed.
  • Diagrams drawn by the student, labelled and explained.
  • Numericals in physics and balanced equations in chemistry, practised step by step.
  • CBSE sample papers and case-based questions from Class 8 onward.
  • For ICSE, separate attention to each science paper and exact definitions.
  • For UP Board, practice in the paper's format, including the OMR section.
  • A brief progress message to the parent after school tests.

How to get picked

In the demo, take one idea from the current chapter, teach it with a diagram the student draws alongside you, and end with three short questions the student answers alone. Then tell the parent in a sentence or two what you noticed and what you would do next. That is what a Noida parent watching from the next room will judge you on.

On your profile, write exactly what you teach, such as 'CBSE Science Classes 6 to 10, ICSE Physics and Chemistry Classes 9 and 10', and the sectors you can reach after school. If you live in a tower cluster, list it; families in the same society prefer a tutor who is already there. Families see your fee before booking; see how you get paid further down.

Keep the slot fixed, arrive a few minutes early to allow for the walk from the gate to the tower, and send a short note before each school test about what you have revised. Those small habits are why families recommend a science tutor to the neighbours on their floor.

Joining, leads and pay

Joining is free

Applying, onboarding, building your profile, the ID check and receiving matched requests on the Free plan cost nothing. The Free plan gives you 160 lead credits every month.

Paid plans are optional

Pro, Premium and Featured are optional platform subscriptions: more visibility, AI tools and more lead credits. They are never a fee to apply for a tuition. See tutor plans.

How leads and credits work

A family request that fits your subjects, classes, board, areas and hours reaches your dashboard. Opening the family's contact details uses lead credits, and the credit price is shown on the request before you open it. At most 5 tutors can open one request, and a request stays open for 7 days. Credit packs are there if you need more.

How you get paid

You set your own fee. When a family pays for classes through NXTutors, you receive 50% of the fee for home tuition in the first month and the full fee after that, and 70% of the fee for online tuition every month. Payments are held for 7 days, then paid out weekly. How you get paid.

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.

Questions from tutors

Which science classes are most requested in Noida?

CBSE Classes 6 to 10, with Classes 9 and 10 the busiest. ICSE families ask for each science separately in Classes 9 and 10, and UP Board and IGCSE families ask too.

Is middle-school science mostly taught at home in Noida?

Yes. Home sessions suit younger children most, usually one or two a week. Online works for some Class 9 and 10 students alongside home classes.

Which zones suit a science tutor?

Tower clusters in Sectors 74 to 79 and on the Expressway, where several families live close together, and Old Noida's plotted sectors near the Blue Line, where visits are doorstep.

Do I need a gate pass in tower societies?

Usually you need to be on the visitor list. Ask the family to give security your name and block before the first class, and keep the same slot each week.

Do UP Board students need different preparation?

The chapters may match, but the paper looks different: a long paper with a reading period and an OMR multiple-choice section. Practise in that format and check upmsp.edu.in for current syllabuses.

Can I teach two children in one society on the same evening?

Yes, and it is one of the advantages of the tower sectors. Plan a separate lesson for each family and agree times that follow on from each other.

Does joining cost anything?

No. Joining and onboarding are free, and the Free plan includes monthly lead credits. Paid plans are optional.
