Sector 22 is at the airport end of the Dwarka zone in Delhi. It is a sector of larger society flats beside the Sector 21 interchange, with the new Dwarka Expressway and Urban Extension Road-II running along its edge. The sections below cover what that means for the tutor's ride, the gate and the lesson itself.
| What | Dwarka Sector 22 |
|---|---|
| Zone | Dwarka, South West Delhi, towards IGI Airport |
| Housing | Cooperative society flats and DDA housing; Square Yards describes DDA high-income-group stock, with three- and four-bedroom flats the most sought after |
| Some societies | Nav Sansad Vihar, Beverly Park, Green Valley, Chitrakoot, Janaki, Classic, Bank Vihar, Jagran, Veena, Dream, Him Hit Sadbhavna, Delhi Apartments, Udyog Vihar CGHS and the DDA pockets |
| Nearest metro | Dwarka Sector 21 (Blue Line and Airport Express), about 1.5 km on Square Yards; Dwarka Sector 8 is the other option |
| Roads | Road 205, Road 210 and Sector 23 Road inside; the Dwarka Expressway, the Sector 21 underpass and UER-II at the edge |
| Daily needs | Manish Global Mall, a Sai temple, a cluster bus depot and society parks |
| Modes | Home, online, or both |
Sector 22 is almost entirely flats inside society compounds, and the flats are on the large side. Square Yards describes the sector's housing as high-income-group stock developed under the DDA, and its demand data leans to three- and four-bedroom homes. One society, The Bhagwati CGHS, is listed with three-, four- and five-bedroom flats.
RealEstateIndia lists Classic Apartment, Bank Vihar, Delhi Apartment, Jagran, Veena, Chitrakoot, Janaki, Him Hit Sadbhavna, Nav Sansad Vihar, Beverly Park, Dream, Green Valley and DGS Apartment in Sector 22, mostly with three or four bedrooms and a few two-bedroom options. OpenStreetMap also marks Udyog Vihar CGHS, a block of DDA self-financing flats and DDA Sector 22 Pocket 1 inside the sector outline. NoBroker adds Mahadev and Sri Vinayak apartments. DDA's own park register even uses one society as a landmark, listing a park near the Sansad Vihar apartments.
A larger flat usually has a room that can double as the study room on lesson days, which helps with longer sessions for senior classes, IB or IGCSE. Before the demo, choose that room and clear the table, so the tutor does not spend the opening minutes setting up.
OpenStreetMap places Manish Global Mall, a Sai temple, a fuel station, two banks and the Dwarka Sector 22 cluster bus depot within the sector. Square Yards adds Shubham Society Park, and NoBroker lists a Durga Puja park. For a tutor, the mall and the temple are handy landmarks to give when the society gate faces an internal road.
Square Yards resident reviews of Sector 22, and wider Dwarka reporting, keep coming back to a few points. Here is the tuition angle on each.
The other questions are the usual ones: will the tutor hold the same weekly slot, do they know the board, and does a senior subject need an online specialist? The rest of this guide takes them one by one.
Dwarka Sector 21 station is the main way in. According to Wikipedia, its Blue Line platforms opened in October 2010 and the Airport Express followed in February 2011; since September 2023 the Airport Express has also continued one stop further to Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector 25. Square Yards puts the station about a kilometre and a half from Sector 22. A tutor coming from Janakpuri, Uttam Nagar or central Delhi rides the Blue Line to its western end, while one coming from Dhaula Kuan or Aerocity can use the Airport Express. Dwarka Sector 8, one Blue Line stop back, is the other option for some pockets.
Inside the sector, OpenStreetMap shows Road 205, Road 210 and Sector 23 Road. Along the edge run the Dwarka Expressway and the Dwarka Sector 21 underpass, with Urban Extension Road-II close by. News reports from August 2025 describe the opening of the Delhi section of the expressway and UER-II together. These roads help tutors coming from the airport side, Gurugram or outer Delhi, but they also bring rush-hour queues at the junctions.
The shortest trips come from the bordering sectors: 19, 21 and 23, with 8, 9 and 10 a little further. Tutors from those sectors often come by scooter.
We do not give travel minutes. Ask each tutor which route they will take and what time they leave their previous class.
Almost every Sector 22 address is behind a society gate, so plan the first visit around it. A day before the demo, give the guard or the visitor app the tutor's name and phone, with your tower or block and flat. Tell the tutor which entrance to use if the society has more than one, and the landmark on the road outside.
If you continue after the demo, ask the managing committee how a regular visitor is added, so later classes do not stop at the barrier while the guard phones you. If the tutor comes by two-wheeler, check where visitors may park inside.
Keep an adult at home during lessons and the study-room door open, especially for younger children. If you would like a woman tutor, say so in the request; NXTutors can shortlist a female home tutor in Delhi who travels to Sector 22, where one is free for your class and slot.
All tutors who join go through an ID check. They prove a phone number or email with a one-time code, and they upload a government photo ID for our team to review. The check tells you who the tutor is; it is not a police or background check. See our tutor ID check explained, and use the free demo to judge the teaching.
CBSE is the board most Sector 22 families ask about, as in most of Delhi, followed by ICSE, with some asking for IB or Cambridge IGCSE tutors. The board tells us which books and papers the tutor should work from, so put it in the request.
The larger flats here make one difference: they suit the longer sessions that IB and IGCSE coursework often needs, and they leave room for a second subject tutor on another evening without crowding the household. For international programmes, we may also suggest an IB tutor for Delhi students who teaches online. For the side-by-side detail on all four boards, read the board comparison guide.
For young children, a routine beats a long session. Three to five short visits a week, at the same hour each day, work well. Pick one spot in the flat for lessons and keep it the same. A tutor from Sector 19 or 23 can manage that rhythm without a long ride. Ask for a word at the end of each lesson about what was covered.
Middle school is where the habits for Class 9 and 10 are set. Many families start with one tutor for maths and science and add English or a second language only if school feedback calls for it. Ask the tutor to check the school notebook and the last class test every week.
Board preparation starts in Class 9. Two or three lessons a week of about ninety minutes leave time to explain a topic and then set timed questions. If your child takes an ICSE course, the wider spread of subjects may mean two tutors.
One tutor per subject is the norm, and this is where a spare room in a larger flat earns its keep. A home physics tutor in Delhi can work alongside a separate chemistry or maths tutor. For students also preparing for an entrance exam, some families keep the home tutor for school work and add an online class for entrance problems. See Class 12 home tutors in Delhi.
Board exams for CBSE and ICSE students mostly come early in the year; use only the date sheets that cbse.gov.in and cisce.org publish. IB Diploma papers sit in May and November, and Cambridge IGCSE runs a March series in India as well as June and November. Agree with the tutor when lessons shift to past papers, and book any extra weekend classes before the December rush for evening slots begins.
A home tutor keeps your child at home, which matters in a sector where the main roads fill at rush hour. The larger flats make it easy to give the lesson its own room.
An online tutor opens up specialists anywhere in India, useful for IB, IGCSE and senior science. A headset helps if aircraft noise reaches your flat. See online tuition for Delhi students.
A coaching centre means a regular trip out of the sector for your child, usually by metro from Sector 21 or by road. It suits a self-driven student who likes a batch, but late classes mean a ride home after dark in winter.
A common mix in Sector 22 is a home tutor for school subjects and one online specialist for an exam need.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
Tutors set their own fees, and every fee is on the profile before you book the demo. For a Sector 22 family, the quote mostly depends on the class and board, the subject, how long each lesson runs and how many lessons a week you want. Where the tutor starts from also counts: a tutor already teaching in Sector 23 has a short hop, while one riding in on the Airport Express may prefer fewer, longer lessons.
Ask how cancellations, holidays and extra exam classes are charged before you commit, so the monthly total matches what you planned.
DDA's park register lists three parks in Sector 22, including a playfield and one near the Sansad Vihar apartments, and OpenStreetMap marks a central park. They are good for a short break between study blocks. We found no public library inside the sector; the nearest public reading room we could confirm is the DDA-backed Aarambh library in Sector 16-B, which charges a monthly fee. Most students here study at home.
Sector 21, with the interchange station, and the villages of Bharthal and Bijwasan also lie close by but do not have NXTutors pages yet.

Is your child a Commerce student in Dwarka Sector 22? You can ask for help with Accountancy, Economics or Maths; a Science student can ask for NEET or JEE support instead. Whichever path your child is on, a single request tells us the class, board and subjects, and we answer with two or three tutors able to teach them. Each of them offers a free demo.
Tutors who live in Sector 22, or who have listed it among their travel areas, are the first you will see here. If none is listed yet for your subject, you will find tutors who cover other Dwarka sectors, such as those on the Dwarka Sector 23 or Dwarka Sector 19 pages, then teachers across Delhi, home tutors living in Gurugram, and online options. Each card tells you in a line why it appears.
If your family can only manage weekends, say that up front rather than at the end. It changes which tutors make sense, and it is easier to plan a steady Saturday and Sunday rhythm from the first week than to rearrange one later. Mention, too, whether your child prefers a tutor at home or is happy online for one subject.
