Dwarka is the DDA's sub-city in South West Delhi, a grid of numbered sectors separated by wide arterial roads, and for most families home tuition begins at a society gate.

Not sure which tutor fits? Tell us the class, board and your sector: we share two or three matched tutors, each with their fee, and the first class is a free demo.
Book a free demo classAI-first tutoring, with real teachers
You tell us the class, board, subject and where in Dwarka you live. Our AI does the slow part of the search and returns two or three tutors who fit, not a long list to scroll. You see each tutor's fee before the free demo, and switching tutor later is free.
Where AI stops and people start
Cooperative group housing dominates the central sectors around 4, 5, 11 and 12. Towards Palam, Sectors 6 and 7 mix societies with DDA self-financing flats; at the Kakrola end, Sector 14 is largely one- to three-bedroom DDA flats; Sector 19 folds in the village lanes of Ambrahi; and near the airport, Sector 22 has large apartments of three to five bedrooms. Builder floors are a minority, found in scattered pockets and in the villages at the edges.
The Blue Line is Dwarka's spine: it calls at a string of sector stations from 8 through 14, at the Sector 21 interchange with the Airport Express, and at Dwarka and Dwarka Mor on its way east. The Airport Express now continues to Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector 25, while Palam and Dashrathpuri on the Magenta Line help the eastern edge. That lets a tutor from Janakpuri, Uttam Nagar or any Blue Line colony reach most societies without a car, finishing the trip in an e-rickshaw. What costs time is the gate rather than the ride: many societies phone the flat or check a pre-approved list on every visit.
NXTutors looks for Dwarka tutors in widening circles: first those living in your sector or the ones beside it, then tutors who list Dwarka among the places they travel to, then tutors from elsewhere in the city, and online teaching after that. Two or three matches come back, every fee readable on the profile ahead of the demo, which is free. If the tutor later stops suiting your child, a switch is free. Put the sector, tower and flat in the request; the sector tells us which station, and therefore which tutors, are realistic, and the tower and flat let you pre-approve the tutor at the gate before the demo.

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.
| Classes a week | Classes a month | At ₹800 an hour | At ₹2,500 an hour |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 | 8 | ₹6,400 a month | ₹20,000 a month |
| 3 | 12 | ₹9,600 a month | ₹30,000 a month |
In a coaching batch, one teacher's hour is shared by many students, so each family pays for a part of it. At home the whole hour is your child's: the pace, the questions and the homework check follow one student, and the tutor's travel to your home is part of the working day. A small group of two or three children from the same society usually costs less per child, with less individual attention.
Open your sector or society for the tutors nearest to it.
Several sectors have their own Blue Line stop, including 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14. Sectors 4 and 5 use the stations at 12 or 10, Sectors 6 and 7 can also use Palam on the Magenta Line, Sector 19 uses 10 or 12, and Sectors 22 and 23 use the Sector 21 interchange.
Each society has its own rules. Most log visitors in a register; many also ring the flat, or check a list of approved regular visitors, on each visit. Ask your RWA or gate office whether the tutor can be added as a standing visitor in the first week, so later classes start without a wait at the entrance.
Often. With the Blue Line crossing the sub-city and the Magenta Line touching its eastern edge at Palam and Dashrathpuri, a tutor from Janakpuri, Uttam Nagar or another colony on those lines can come by train and take a short e-rickshaw ride, which keeps weekly timings predictable.
Fees are set by each tutor and shown on the profile before the demo. Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
