Now taking on home, online and hybrid tutors · in Dwarka, Delhi
Dwarka is the DDA's sub-city in South West Delhi, a grid of numbered sectors separated by wide arterial roads, and for most families home tuition begins at a society gate. Cooperative group housing dominates the central sectors around 4, 5, 11 and 12. Towards Palam, Sectors 6 and 7 mix societies with DDA self-financing flats; at the Kakrola end, Sector 14 is largely one- to three-bedroom DDA flats; Sector 19 folds in the village lanes of Ambrahi; and near the airport, Sector 22 has large apartments of three to five bedrooms.
No open home-tuition requests in Dwarka right now. New family requests appear here as they come in; add Dwarka to your travel areas so they can reach you.
For a tutor, Dwarka's appeal is density plus rail. Thousands of families live in societies a few minutes apart, and the Blue Line runs through the middle of the sub-city, so a tutor who lives here, or anywhere on the Blue or Magenta Lines, can build a full week without a car. What costs time is not the ride but the gate.
The Blue Line calls at a string of sector stations from 8 through 14, at the Sector 21 interchange with the Airport Express, and at Dwarka and Dwarka Mor on its way east. The Airport Express now continues to Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector 25, while Palam and Dashrathpuri on the Magenta Line help the eastern edge. A tutor from Janakpuri, Uttam Nagar or any Blue Line colony can reach most societies by train and finish in an e-rickshaw.
Match the station to the sector: Sector 12 for Sectors 4 and 5, Sector 10 for 6, 7 and 19 (or Palam on the Magenta Line for 6 and 7), and Sector 21 for 22 and 23. The Dwarka Expressway runs past Sectors 21 and 22 on its Delhi section, which matters mainly for tutors who drive.
Families ask across all classes, mostly CBSE, with ICSE and ISC and a smaller number of IB and IGCSE requests, as across Delhi. Because so many students live within a few sectors, a tutor can often teach several in one evening. Where no nearby tutor covers a subject, families keep an online tutor for it alongside a local one, which suits specialists who prefer to teach from home.
Families also tell us the sector, tower and flat when they ask, because the sector decides which station, and therefore which tutors, are realistic. A tutor who lists the specific Dwarka sectors they can reach on time, rather than 'Dwarka' as a whole, is matched to the families who can actually keep them.
Each society has its own rules. Most log visitors in a register; many also ring the flat, or check a list of approved regular visitors, on every visit. In the first week, ask the family to register you with the RWA or gate office as a standing visitor, so later classes start without a wait at the entrance. Share the sector, tower and flat number in your notes for each family.
Builder floors are a minority in Dwarka, found in scattered pockets and in the villages at the edges, such as Ambrahi near Sector 19, where you go straight to the door but may need a landmark. Tutors who join NXTutors go through an ID check; it is an identity check, not a background check.
Evening crowds build around the Sector 10 and 12 markets and on roads towards the expressway, so an earlier start is easier to keep, especially if you are walking from a station through a market. Late-afternoon slots after school suit middle-school students; senior students often prefer a slot after coaching, which may be better online on busy days.
Gate checks take a few minutes on every visit until you are on the regular list, so plan for them in your start time during the first week.
Applying, onboarding, building your profile, the ID check and receiving matched requests on the Free plan cost nothing. The Free plan gives you 160 lead credits every month.
Pro, Premium and Featured are optional platform subscriptions: more visibility, AI tools and more lead credits. They are never a fee to apply for a tuition. See tutor plans.
A family request that fits your subjects, classes, board, areas and hours reaches your dashboard. Opening the family's contact details uses lead credits, and the credit price is shown on the request before you open it. At most 5 tutors can open one request, and a request stays open for 7 days. Credit packs are there if you need more.
You set your own fee. When a family pays for classes through NXTutors, you receive 50% of the fee for home tuition in the first month and the full fee after that, and 70% of the fee for online tuition every month. Payments are held for 7 days, then paid out weekly. How you get paid.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
Several sectors have their own Blue Line stop, including 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14. Sectors 4 and 5 use 12 or 10, Sectors 6 and 7 can also use Palam on the Magenta Line, Sector 19 uses 10 or 12, and Sectors 22 and 23 use the Sector 21 interchange.
Most log visitors and many ring the flat or check a list on each visit. Ask to be added as a standing visitor in the first week.
Yes. With the Blue Line through the sub-city and the Magenta Line at Palam and Dashrathpuri, tutors from Janakpuri, Uttam Nagar and other colonies on those lines come by train and take a short e-rickshaw ride.
A few. Builder floors in scattered pockets and the village lanes at the edges, such as Ambrahi in Sector 19, are doorstep visits; bring a landmark. Most families, though, live in societies with a gate.
Before the evening crowds build around the Sector 10 and 12 markets. Late afternoon after school is usually smooth.
