Now taking on home, online and hybrid tutors · in Saket, Malviya Nagar & Hauz Khas, Delhi
This zone runs north to south through a wide range of housing. Green Park and Safdarjung Enclave in the north are plotted floors and houses, with DDA and cooperative flats in the Safdarjung Development Area. Hauz Khas Enclave has blocks lettered A to Z around the old tank. Panchsheel Park and Sarvodaya Enclave are large plots on tree-lined streets, Sheikh Sarai is DDA flats in two phases, and Malviya Nagar takes in Shivalik, Geetanjali Enclave and other enclaves of floors and DDA flats.
No open home-tuition requests in Saket, Malviya Nagar & Hauz Khas right now. New family requests appear here as they come in; add Saket, Malviya Nagar & Hauz Khas to your travel areas so they can reach you.
Further south, Saket's lettered blocks mix row houses and DDA flats, Sainik Farm has villas on big plots, and Chhatarpur and Mehrauli, one of Delhi's oldest continuously inhabited settlements, have narrow lanes. A tutor can work the Yellow Line spine from Green Park to Saket and reach a great variety of families within a few stations.
Most tutors arrive on the Yellow Line, which has Green Park, Hauz Khas, Malviya Nagar and Saket, then Qutub Minar and Chhatarpur further south. Hauz Khas also meets the Magenta Line, which stops at Panchsheel Park and at Chirag Delhi, the nearest for Sheikh Sarai. North of Saket, a tutor coming by metro is usually a walk or e-rickshaw from the door; Sainik Farm and parts of Chhatarpur need an auto or cab from Saket, Chhatarpur or Qutub Minar station.
The Outer Ring Road crosses the zone and slows at office hours, the Mehrauli-Badarpur Road fills in the evening, and Hauz Khas Village draws crowds on weekend evenings.
Requests follow the Delhi pattern, mostly CBSE with ICSE and ISC, and a smaller group of IB and IGCSE families. With the Yellow Line running through, a tutor several stations away can still be a sensible fit, so families here often consider tutors from elsewhere on the line, which widens the work open to you.
Families in the DDA blocks and enclaves often have students close together, so a tutor teaching in one block of Saket or Malviya Nagar can add a second nearby.
The zone's variety also means variety of requests: younger children in the DDA blocks wanting regular weekday help, senior students in the plotted colonies wanting subject specialists, and families in the larger homes of Panchsheel Park and Sainik Farm who often prefer weekend sessions. Listing the specific colonies you can reach, and the hours you keep, helps you match the right ones.
In Sainik Farm, homes are big houses and villas set well apart, most with their own gate and staff, and guards usually stop visitors; the family should send your name and the exact lane beforehand. In Saket's DDA blocks the guard checks visitors too, so share the block letter with your name. In Mehrauli, ask for a landmark and a map pin; a landmark is worth more than a house number in the old lanes.
Malviya Nagar's older blocks have narrow lanes, and Sheikh Sarai's DDA blocks have no basement parking, so parked cars fill the inner roads by evening. Tutors who join NXTutors go through an ID check, which is an identity check, not a background check. In the plotted colonies of Green Park, Hauz Khas Enclave and Panchsheel Park, most visits are doorstep ones; agree where the class sits, ideally a common room, at the demo.
Cross the Outer Ring Road junctions at Hauz Khas and Chirag Delhi before or after office hours, and keep clear of the Hauz Khas Village approach roads on weekend evenings. Metro riders have the easiest time; drivers should favour afternoons. On the Mehrauli-Badarpur Road side, an earlier evening slot beats a later one.

A family request that fits your subjects, classes, board, areas and hours reaches your dashboard. Opening the family's contact details uses lead credits, and the credit price is shown on the request before you open it. At most 5 tutors can open one request, and a request stays open for 7 days. Credit packs are there if you need more.
You set your own fee. When a family pays for classes through NXTutors, you receive 50% of the fee for home tuition in the first month and the full fee after that, and 70% of the fee for online tuition every month. Payments are held for 7 days, then paid out weekly. How you get paid.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
Green Park for Green Park and the eastern side of Safdarjung Enclave, Hauz Khas for Hauz Khas, Sarvodaya Enclave and Panchsheel Park, Malviya Nagar for Malviya Nagar, Shivalik and the lower-lettered Saket blocks, and Saket for the rest of Saket. Sheikh Sarai is nearer Chirag Delhi on the Magenta Line.
Homes are large and set apart, with gates and staff. Send your name and the exact lane in advance, and take an auto or cab from Saket or Qutub Minar.
Ask for a landmark and a map pin as well as the address. The old lanes are confusing for newcomers, and a landmark is worth more than a house number.
