Now taking on home, online and hybrid tutors · in Karol Bagh, Patel Nagar & Rajinder Nagar, Delhi
A small, dense Central Delhi zone where homes sit among markets and coaching streets. Karol Bagh's residential pockets, such as the WEA blocks, Beadon Pura, Dev Nagar and Bapa Nagar, are builder floors, older houses and low-rise flats set between busy shopping streets. Old Rajinder Nagar, on the Karol Bagh side of Shankar Road, is a major civil services coaching hub with hostels and libraries among family homes, while New Rajinder Nagar across the road is greener, with blocks laid out around parks.
No open home-tuition requests in Karol Bagh, Patel Nagar & Rajinder Nagar right now. New family requests appear here as they come in; add Karol Bagh, Patel Nagar & Rajinder Nagar to your travel areas so they can reach you.
East and West Patel Nagar are mostly builder floors on residential plots. None of the zone has society desks; entry is at the building door. For a tutor, that makes visits simple once you find the right floor, and the zone's compactness means several families can be reached on foot from one station.
Since the end of 2005 the Blue Line has tied the zone together. Karol Bagh and Rajendra Place stations serve the markets and the two Rajinder Nagars, while Patel Nagar and Shadipur cover West Patel Nagar. Use Rajendra Place for New Rajinder Nagar and East Patel Nagar, Karol Bagh for the WEA blocks and Old Rajinder Nagar, and Patel Nagar or Shadipur for West Patel Nagar.
Driving is where the trouble starts. Parking is scarce, the main market streets peak at weekends, and the coaching lanes stay busy with students well into the evening. A tutor who lives on the Blue Line can be a better fit than a nearer one who drives.
Families here ask across classes and boards, mostly CBSE, and with four Blue Line stations inside the zone, tutors from elsewhere on that line are a practical choice for them. Family homes sit next to rented student rooms in Rajinder Nagar, so families value a tutor who comes to the right floor, on time, without fuss.
New Rajinder Nagar's quieter blocks around parks suit a regular weekday routine, while families near the Karol Bagh markets may prefer an afternoon or online session on the busiest days.
There are no society gates, but many Rajinder Nagar floors are let to students, and a new tutor can easily ring the wrong bell on a first visit. Ask the family for the exact floor, which bell to ring and a landmark. In East and West Patel Nagar, builder floors need only the floor number and a landmark.
With no guard at the door, the parent is the one who meets you. Tutors who join NXTutors go through an ID check, which is an identity check, not a background check, and families are asked to be at home for the free demo.
In older houses and low-rise flats near the shopping streets, staircases are narrow and the entrance may be shared with a shop or another household. Ask the family to come down for the first visit or describe the entrance clearly, and agree where the lesson will sit inside the home.
Weekday lessons run more smoothly than weekend ones, when Karol Bagh's markets peak. If a family's lane faces the main coaching stretch in Old Rajinder Nagar, an afternoon slot or an online session avoids the evening crowd. In New Rajinder Nagar, street parking is easier and evening slots are more manageable.
If you teach several students here, plan your round from one station outward: the zone is small enough that two or three homes near Karol Bagh or Rajendra Place can be reached on foot in one evening. Leave the busiest market streets for the end of your round, or avoid them on weekends altogether.

Credit packs are there if you need more.
You set your own fee. When a family pays for classes through NXTutors, you receive 50% of the fee for home tuition in the first month and the full fee after that, and 70% of the fee for online tuition every month. Payments are held for 7 days, then paid out weekly. How you get paid.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
