Getting to Sectors 28–31 & 37

Sector 28 has its own station, Mewla Maharajpur stands inside Sector 31, and Sarai, NHPC Chowk and Badkhal Mor are within reach. Sarai suits Sector 37, and the Sector 28 or Mewla Maharajpur stops suit Sectors 28 to 31. That means a tutor living in south Delhi can arrive by train and skip the queues at the border crossing on Mathura Road, as easily as one living in Faridabad.

From the platform, most homes are a short walk or auto ride. Sector 31's mix of homes, shops and offices along Mathura Road makes it busier at the roadside than the quieter inner sectors, while Sector 37's green, mostly residential streets near the Sehatpur village area are calm once you are off the main road. A tutor on a two-wheeler can move between Sectors 28, 29 and 30 quickly, which suits back-to-back lessons.

What families in Sectors 28–31 & 37 ask for

Requests here span the school years, from primary help in the builder floors to board-year and senior subjects, across CBSE, ICSE and ISC, HBSE and a smaller IB and IGCSE group. Because the metro makes the zone reachable from both sides of the border, families can choose from a wider pool of tutors, and they tend to pick the one whose profile matches their child's board and class exactly and who can keep a steady slot.

NXTutors starts a search for these sectors with tutors living in Sectors 28 to 31 or 37, then tutors who list them as places they travel to, which can include tutors from the Delhi side of the border, then the rest of Faridabad, then online. If you live in south Delhi near a Violet Line station, this is the most practical Faridabad zone to add to your profile.

Society entry and visitor norms

Builder floors in Sector 28 often share one entrance with an intercom, so get the floor and the right bell before you go, or the first class can be delayed at a locked stairway. The societies in Sector 29 register visitors at the gate; ask the family to add your name and share the tower and flat. In Sector 30's pockets around the Police Lines and in Sector 37, ask whether the home is a floor, a house or an apartment so you know what to expect at the entrance. In Sector 31, where homes sit among shops and offices, ask which entrance faces the residential side.

Timings that work in Sectors 28–31 & 37

Roads towards Mathura Road fill at office hours. Late-afternoon slots, or ones after the evening rush has cleared, avoid that traffic; a tutor on the Violet Line is largely unaffected.

For students who come home late from coaching, a tutor living within a station or two can keep a later slot, and online sessions cover the evenings that run too late. Weekend lessons are easy here too: the trains run through the border without the road queues, so a tutor from south Delhi can keep a Saturday or Sunday morning slot without losing time.

Joining, leads and pay

Joining is free

Applying, onboarding, building your profile, the ID check and receiving matched requests on the Free plan cost nothing. The Free plan gives you 160 lead credits every month.

Paid plans are optional

Pro, Premium and Featured are optional platform subscriptions: more visibility, AI tools and more lead credits. They are never a fee to apply for a tuition. See tutor plans.

How leads and credits work

A family request that fits your subjects, classes, board, areas and hours reaches your dashboard. Opening the family's contact details uses lead credits, and the credit price is shown on the request before you open it. At most 5 tutors can open one request, and a request stays open for 7 days. Credit packs are there if you need more.

How you get paid

You set your own fee. When a family pays for classes through NXTutors, you receive 50% of the fee for home tuition in the first month and the full fee after that, and 70% of the fee for online tuition every month. Payments are held for 7 days, then paid out weekly. How you get paid.

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.

Questions from tutors

Can a tutor from south Delhi teach in Sector 37 or Sector 28?

Yes. Sarai suits Sector 37 and the Sector 28 station suits Sector 28, so a south Delhi tutor can arrive by Violet Line and avoid the Mathura Road queues at the border.

What is Sector 30 like for home tuition?

Part of it is the Police Lines, with residential pockets of flats and floors around it, and colonies such as Indraprastha Colony nearby. Ask the family which kind of home it is.

Do Sector 28 builder floors need anything special?

Often a shared entrance with an intercom. Get the floor and the right bell before the first visit.

Do Sector 29 societies register visitors?

Yes. Ask the family to add your name at the gate and share the tower and flat number.

Can I teach these families online?

Yes. Online lessons suit evenings when coaching runs late or travel is slow. Offer both modes on your profile, and agree with the family at the demo which weeks will be at home and which online, so the timetable stays predictable through exam season.
