Now taking on home, online and hybrid tutors · in Faridabad
In Faridabad's middle-school homes, science tuition usually begins with a worried look at a Class 8 or Class 9 notebook. The textbook is still called Science, but inside it motion has become numerical, chemistry has started writing equations and biology wants labelled diagrams, and a student who coasted through Class 7 suddenly cannot keep up with all three. Parents in Sector 15, in an NIT lane or in a Sector 81 tower start looking for someone who can carry all three strands at once.
No open science requests in Faridabad right now. New family requests appear here as they come in; join now so they can reach you.
This page is for science teachers, graduates and B.Ed holders thinking about middle-school and Class 10 science students in Faridabad. It covers the boards, including Haryana's own, the zones from NIT to Neharpar, what families expect and how to stand out at the free demo. Joining is free, and the fee is set by you.

CBSE Classes 6 to 10 are the bulk of science requests. The subject is one paper containing physics, chemistry and biology, with NCERT as the base and questions that test application. Class 10 is the heaviest year, bringing light, electricity, chemical reactions, carbon compounds, life processes and heredity into one board paper, and many families who did not need help before ask for it then.
HBSE, the Board of School Education Haryana, adds a second stream. It conducts the Class 10 exam with papers set to its own pattern, and schools on the board may teach in Hindi or English. Families state the medium, and a tutor who can explain refraction or a chemical equation in Hindi using the textbook's words is a strong match, especially in the older colonies and Ballabhgarh's lanes. Model papers and notices are on bseh.org.in.
ICSE students in Classes 9 and 10 take physics, chemistry and biology as separate papers, so their parents may want one, two or all three. CISCE rewards precise definitions and well-organised answers. A smaller IGCSE group asks for coordinated or separate sciences, often with a home visit plus online sessions.
For home lessons, the Violet Line shapes the map. Central Sectors (Mathura Road) has stations from Neelam Chowk Ajronda to Escorts Mujesar, NIT & Old Faridabad sits beside Bata Chowk and Neelam Chowk Ajronda, and Sectors 28–31 & 37 have stops close to every sector. Ballabhgarh & Southern Sectors use Sihi and the Ballabhgarh terminus; factory shift changes on Sohna Road are the timing hazard there.
Surajkund & Sainik Colony needs an auto or two-wheeler up from the Violet Line. Across the canal, Greater Faridabad (Sectors 75–80) and Greater Faridabad (Sectors 81–89) are society country with no metro, where a science tutor living in the same sectors can teach two or three children close together.
Precision gets you shortlisted. 'CBSE Science Classes 7–10 and HBSE Class 9–10 Science in Hindi; ICSE Chemistry Class 9–10' tells a Faridabad parent everything they need. Name your route too: 'Violet Line to Escorts Mujesar, then auto' or 'Sectors 75–80 only, plus online'. If you have a lab background or have taught practical activities, mention it.
At the demo, ask the student which part of science they dread and set three short questions there before teaching anything. Then explain one idea with a sketch or a quick household demonstration, let the student retry, and leave the parent with a chapter plan for the month. Families across the canal may like one home and one online lesson a week. See how you get paid before agreeing days.
Applying, onboarding, building your profile, the ID check and receiving matched requests on the Free plan cost nothing. The Free plan gives you 160 lead credits every month.
Pro, Premium and Featured are optional platform subscriptions: more visibility, AI tools and more lead credits. They are never a fee to apply for a tuition. See tutor plans.
A family request that fits your subjects, classes, board, areas and hours reaches your dashboard. Opening the family's contact details uses lead credits, and the credit price is shown on the request before you open it. At most 5 tutors can open one request, and a request stays open for 7 days. Credit packs are there if you need more.
You set your own fee. When a family pays for classes through NXTutors, you receive 50% of the fee for home tuition in the first month and the full fee after that, and 70% of the fee for online tuition every month. Payments are held for 7 days, then paid out weekly. How you get paid.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
Classes 8 to 10, when the three strands separate more clearly and the Class 10 board approaches. Classes 6 and 7 usually come as part of all-subject help, and from Class 11 families ask for physics, chemistry or biology separately.
Schools on the HBSE may teach in Hindi or English, and families say which with the request. If you teach in Hindi, say so on your profile and use the textbook's terms.
Not always. ICSE Classes 9 and 10 have separate physics, chemistry and biology papers, so parents may ask for one subject. List exactly what you teach.
Central Sectors (Mathura Road), NIT & Old Faridabad, Sectors 28–31 & 37 and Ballabhgarh & Southern Sectors all have stations nearby. Surajkund and Greater Faridabad need an auto or vehicle for the last leg.
Ask the family to add you to the visitor list or gate app and share the tower and flat number. Allow extra time on the first visits and call the gate if needed.
Often as the CBSE session opens in April, or when the first tests of Class 8 or 9 go badly. Class 10 families also ask in the months before pre-boards.
Yes. The old lanes of NIT 1, 2, 3 and 5, Jawahar Colony and Dabua Colony are full of houses and builder floors where a tutor comes straight to the door. Ask for the NIT part, house number and a market landmark, and choose an after-school or weekend-morning slot to avoid the evening market crowd and the railway crossing.
Yes, and many families there combine online lessons with a local tutor, because there is no metro across the canal. Online requests are matched on board, class and subject rather than location.
