Now taking on home, online and hybrid tutors · in Faridabad
The primary tutor a Faridabad family keeps for years is usually the one who lives on the same street. A child in Class 2 in an NIT lane, a Sector 9 house or a Sector 77 tower needs an hour of calm, regular help after school, often five days a week, and no parent wants that hour lost to Mathura Road traffic or a queue at the canal crossing. That is why primary tuition here is local work, and why tutors who live in a neighbourhood are so often chosen for it.
No open primary (class 1–5) requests in Faridabad right now. New family requests appear here as they come in; join now so they can reach you.
Teachers, B.Ed graduates, homemakers who have taught before and patient college students all do this work well. This page explains what Faridabad families ask for in Classes 1 to 5, how the city's housing changes the routine, and how to win a family's trust at the free demo. Joining is free; you set the fee.
| Month | What the family asked for |
|---|---|
| Oct 2026 | Class 10 · Maths |
| May 2026 | Maths |
| May 2026 | Science & Hindi |
| Apr 2026 | Class 6 · English |
| Apr 2026 | English & All subjects |
All-subject help is the core: reading and comprehension, handwriting and spelling, number sense and tables, early fractions, environmental studies, Hindi and the day's homework. Many working parents also want the tutor to check the school diary, prepare the child for weekly tests and keep the evening on a timetable. Sessions are short and frequent, which is the main reason distance matters so much.
The board shows up even at this level. CBSE schools are the most common in Faridabad, ICSE schools add more English reading and writing, and HBSE schools may teach in Hindi or English. Families in HBSE schools, and many others, ask for Hindi or bilingual lessons for young children, so a tutor comfortable in both languages is widely useful. By Class 4 or 5, some parents narrow the request to maths or English to prepare for Class 6.
In Greater Faridabad's large societies, one tutor living on site can often teach two or three young children in neighbouring towers on the same evening. In the plotted HSVP sectors and NIT's lanes, the same happens across a few houses.
The plotted parts of the city suit a primary tutor who walks or rides a short distance: NIT & Old Faridabad's lanes of houses and floors, where you come straight to the door but parking is hard; the HSVP grid of Central Sectors (Mathura Road), with wide internal roads; Sectors 28–31 & 37, mostly builder floors; and the old colonies of Ballabhgarh & Southern Sectors.
Surajkund & Sainik Colony mixes gated complexes with houses. Greater Faridabad (Sectors 75–80) and Greater Faridabad (Sectors 81–89) are mostly societies, where you will be added to a visitor list or gate app and given a tower and flat number; Sector 84's lettered blocks and Sector 87's plots are the exceptions.
Tell parents exactly where you are and what you teach: 'Classes 1–5, all subjects, Hindi and English; Sectors 14, 15 and 16, walking distance' or 'Primary maths and English in my own society in Sector 81'. Mention a B.Ed or school experience if you have it. List the afternoons and evenings you are free; primary families plan their whole day around the tutor's slot.
In the demo, sit beside the child with a short storybook and a few number games, and let them lead. Notice what comes easily, and tell the parent two specific things you will work on first. Then suggest the days and routine. A parent who sees a relaxed child usually decides quickly. See how you get paid before agreeing the schedule.

A family request that fits your subjects, classes, board, areas and hours reaches your dashboard. Opening the family's contact details uses lead credits, and the credit price is shown on the request before you open it. At most 5 tutors can open one request, and a request stays open for 7 days. Credit packs are there if you need more.
You set your own fee. When a family pays for classes through NXTutors, you receive 50% of the fee for home tuition in the first month and the full fee after that, and 70% of the fee for online tuition every month. Payments are held for 7 days, then paid out weekly. How you get paid.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
Many do, for homework support, especially working parents. Others prefer three or four longer sessions a week. Agree the pattern after the free demo.
Yes. HBSE schools may teach in Hindi, and many families ask for Hindi or bilingual lessons for young children. State your languages on the profile.
The plotted HSVP sectors along Mathura Road, NIT's lanes, Sectors 28 to 31 and the Ballabhgarh colonies, where homes are close together. In Neharpar, a tutor living in the same society can walk between towers.
Ask the family to add you to the visitor list or gate app, and share the tower and flat number. Call the gate before the early visits until the guards know you.
Ask for the NIT part, the house number and a market landmark, since many lanes look alike. Parking is hard near the markets, so walking or a two-wheeler helps.
Yes, if they are reliable, patient and can keep a fixed time. Choose families close to where you live so travel never eats into the lesson.
Many share one entrance with an intercom, so ask the family for the floor and the right bell before the first visit. After that, a daily slot runs as simply as in any plotted house.
Each February the mela crowds the Surajkund side, and the Surajkund–Badkhal Road is busy at school timings anyway. If you teach young children in Sectors 43 to 48 or Sainik Colony, agree with the parent in advance whether to shift the time, take a short online session or pause for those days.
