FAQs
Can the tutor focus on the IB internal assessment from Class 9?
Yes. While IB internal assessment (IA) is a DP requirement, starting early helps. Tutors introduce project structuring, coding hygiene and mini-evidence logs so students build a strong IA foundation over time.
What does a typical home lesson look like?
A 60–90 minute session mixes conceptual explanation, a short coding lab (live coding or guided exercises) and a 10–15 minute recap with a homework checklist. Project lessons include milestone planning and versioned submissions.
Do you provide tutors who can teach Python at home?
Yes. Most IB tutors in our network teach Python and focus on writing clean, commented code, test cases and debug strategies that IB examiners appreciate.
How do you ensure the tutor understands my child's school syllabus?
We gather the school’s syllabus or the student’s current topics before the trial. Tutors prepare a mapped plan linking school topics to IB assessment skills and checkpoints.
Are tutors background-checked and insured?
Tutors go through document verification and reference checks. We also provide a short safety checklist for in-home sessions. For further assurance, you can request tutor profiles and sample lesson outlines prior to booking.
Can lessons be rescheduled if my child has school events?
Yes. We offer flexible rescheduling with short notice depending on the tutor’s availability. Regular lesson cadence can be adjusted for term breaks and exams.
