A good tutor for a child in Kandivali East should know the board as well as the subject. Tell us whether that is CBSE, ICSE or the Maharashtra state board, and add the class and the textbooks in use. For Class 11 and Class 12, say whether NEET is in the plan, because that changes how Biology and Chemistry lessons are paced.
Here is how the list works. Tutors who live in Kandivali East or travel there appear first. If nobody has added Kandivali East yet, the list draws on other pages in the zone, such as Thakur Village, Mahavir Nagar or Borivali East, then elsewhere in Mumbai, then online tutors. Each card says why that person is there.
For English, especially in the middle classes, a tutor can do a lot with reading aloud, short writing tasks and steady feedback. Ask during the free demo how they would mark a piece of writing and what they would want your child to practise between lessons. A tutor with a clear answer to both is usually easier to work with over a whole year. Do ask about holidays and exam weeks too, so the routine has a plan for both.
