What home tuition costs in Bhopal

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.

Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Physics home tutor in Bhopal: choose the exam that matters most, then protect the evening it is taught in

Senior physics in Bhopal can mean an MP Board paper, a CBSE or ISC board exam, JEE, NEET, or an IB or IGCSE course, and each one scores answers differently. It also has to fit around school, coaching and a ride home along Kolar Road, Hoshangabad Road or the bypass. NXTutors looks for tutors who teach your child's main target and can reach your locality on the evenings you have free, then sends you two or three of them with their fees listed. The first class with your chosen tutor is a free demo.

Board, JEE or NEET: which target should drive the physics plan?

The chapters largely coincide, but the way marks are earned does not, so the main target should be agreed at the first meeting.

Senior physics targets for Bhopal students: format, scoring and the kind of help a home tutor adds
TargetFormatScoringWhere one-to-one help adds most
CBSE Class 12 physics (042)Written paper of three hours with 33 compulsory questions70 theory marks, 30 practicalDerivations drawn from a diagram, and case-based reading
MP Board Class 12Set by the Board of Secondary Education, Madhya PradeshCheck the board's official websitePractice in the board's own style and in the medium of the exam
JEE Main, 2026 patternComputer-based; physics had 20 multiple-choice and 5 numerical-value questions out of 75 in total+4 right, −1 wrongSpeed on problems with several steps
JEE AdvancedOpen in 2026 only to the leading 2,50,000 JEE Main candidatesSet by the organising institute each yearProblems that combine several ideas
NEET (UG), 2026 patternPen and paper; 45 physics questions out of 180Physics worth 180 of 720; +4 and −1Accuracy on NCERT ideas and fewer risky guesses
IB Diploma PhysicsTwo papers plus a scientific investigation80% papers, 20% investigationData handling and uncertainties

The conducting body, not the board, publishes each entrance syllabus, and it can keep topics a board has dropped; read the current bulletin on nta.ac.in before cutting anything. See our JEE physics topic guide, the NEET physics high-yield chapters, and the pages for JEE physics tutors and NEET physics tutors.

What should MP Board physics students look for?

The Board of Secondary Education, Madhya Pradesh writes its own Class 12 syllabus and papers, and many Bhopal students take physics through it. We keep our guidance general and take exam details only from the board itself. Two practical points still help. First, tell us the medium: a student writing in Hindi needs a tutor who uses the same technical terms as the textbook, so a derivation learnt at home reads correctly in the exam. Second, students preparing for JEE or NEET alongside the state board need a clear split between board-style written answers and timed entrance problems, just as CBSE students do.

How are the 70 CBSE Class 12 physics theory marks shared out?

The 2026-27 sample paper follows the previous session's design. Fourteen NCERT chapters sit in four blocks:

CBSE Class 12 physics theory, 2026-27: the four mark blocks and where a tutor should put the hours
BlockMarksWhere the hours go
Electrostatics, current electricity, magnetism, induction and alternating current33Nearly half the paper; circuits and field diagrams every week
Optics with electromagnetic waves18The biggest single block; ray diagrams with arrows and sign conventions
Dual nature of radiation, atoms and nuclei12Short numericals, often with constants supplied
Semiconductor electronics7Diodes and junctions; transistors and logic gates are no longer examined

Section A carries 16 one-mark items, 12 multiple-choice and 4 assertion–reason. Section B has five questions of two marks, C seven of three, D two case studies of four, and E three long answers of five. Only about 38% of the marks reward plain recall, so a tutor who only dictates notes prepares your child for a minority of the paper. Constants are given and calculators are not allowed. There is one main Class 12 board exam; the 2027 date sheet is awaited on cbse.gov.in. Our Class 12 physics strategies post lists the derivations that keep returning, and the Class 12 physics tutor page sets out the year.

How can the 30 practical marks be prepared away from the lab?

The practical exam is marked like this: two experiments, one per section, at 7 marks each; the record, 5; one activity, 3; the investigatory project, 3; and a viva covering all of it, 5. The record must hold at least eight experiments, four per section, at least six activities, three per section, and the project report.

Equipment stays at school, yet a tutor at home can check each record entry for its aim, diagram and table of observations, go through sources of error and precautions, and run a mock viva with questions such as why several readings are taken or what a graph's slope represents. Students in coaching often neglect these marks, which is a mistake: they are among the easiest in the subject to secure.

What should a tutor do with a coaching mock test?

For JEE and NEET students, the mock paper is the most useful teaching material a home tutor gets. A useful review sorts every lost or skipped question into one of four piles:

  1. Concept not known. The chapter needs reteaching before more problems are set.
  2. Concept known, algebra slipped. A calculation habit to fix, not a physics gap.
  3. Ran out of time. Practise choosing which questions to leave, not only how to solve them.
  4. Wrong guess. With −1 for each wrong answer, some guesses cost more than they earn.

Bring the latest mock to the free demo. A capable tutor will sort it this way within the lesson and tell you which pile is largest.

Can a physics tutor keep a late slot where you live in Bhopal?

Senior students often get home after coaching, so physics lessons start late. Six localities across the city show how that works in practice; compare tutors on our Bhopal page.

Along Kolar Road and in the centre

Chuna Bhatti, at the city end of Kolar Road, has many villa and apartment projects, so the tutor is registered with security on the first visit and signs in after that. Tutors living in Arera Colony and Shahpura are close by. Shivaji Nagar is largely government housing known by block and quarter number, along with private houses and builder floors; a tutor can ride the Orange Line to MP Nagar and take an auto the rest of the way.

South-east and the BHEL side

Misrod, on the NH-46 stretch of Hoshangabad Road, is mostly gated townships and apartment projects. Its railway station sees few stopping trains and autos thin out away from the main road, so a tutor who lives in Misrod or nearby is the practical choice for a late slot. Govindpura combines township quarters with a large industrial estate of units supplying BHEL; avoid shift-change hours when fixing the time.

North-west and near the Lower Lake

Lalghati sits along the Upper Lake between Kohefiza and Bairagarh. The metro does not reach this side of the city yet, and Lalghati Chouraha gets busy, so tutors from Kohefiza or Idgah Hills are easiest to schedule. Jahangirabad, one of the older neighbourhoods, has dense lanes near Bhopal Junction; a tutor on a scooter often parks where the lane narrows and walks in.

On weeks when coaching overruns, switching one lesson online with the same tutor saves a late journey and keeps the plan moving.

What should IB, ISC and IGCSE physics families confirm?

  • IB Diploma. The current guide was first examined in May 2025. Options and Paper 3 have been removed, and the content now sits in five themes, A to E. Suggested teaching time is 150 hours for SL and 240 for HL. The investigation belongs to the student alone: talking through a plan is fine, writing any of it is not. Our IB physics SL and HL guide explains the changes.
  • ISC. CISCE sets theory, practical and project work, and expects answers to be fuller than a brief CBSE-style line. Check the tutor knows your exam year's syllabus.
  • Cambridge IGCSE. Core or Extended tier. Students moving into CBSE Class 11 afterwards often need early help with vectors, graphs and derivations.

These specialists are fewer than CBSE tutors, so name the course when you first contact us. If nobody can reach you, pair an online specialist with a nearby tutor who checks written work.

Should physics tuition begin in Class 11?

In most cases that is the least expensive point to begin. Class 11 moves quickly from measurement and motion to Newton's laws, work and energy, rotation and gravitation, and each topic leans on vectors, graphs and rates of change, occasionally before the maths class has covered them. Class 12 electrostatics then reuses the same tools. Families still choosing a stream can read our Class 11 stream choice guide, and the Class 11 physics tutor page covers the year chapter by chapter. The national physics home tutor page gives the wider view.

How much does a physics tutor in Bhopal cost?

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors quote their own rate, shaped by the target exam, their experience teaching it, the evening journey to your part of the city and the number of weekly sessions; online lessons can cost less. You see every fee ahead of the demo.

How do you book a physics demo in Bhopal?

Tell us the class, board and medium, whether the goal is the board exam, JEE or NEET, your locality with a sector, quarter or landmark, and which evenings are still open once coaching is over. Two or three matched physics tutors come back with their fees, and the one you pick gives a free demo class. A poor fit means another demo, and a change of tutor later is also free. Where no one suitable can travel at your hour, we propose online or mixed sessions. NXTutors operates from Sector 66, Gurugram, and teaches online throughout India.

Physics Home Tutor in Bhopal: common questions

What does a physics home tutor in Bhopal charge?

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors quote their own rates, and you compare every shortlisted fee before the free demo.

Can you match a tutor for MP Board Class 12 physics?

Yes. Tell us your child studies under the Board of Secondary Education, Madhya Pradesh, and whether they write in Hindi or English. We look for tutors who use the textbook's own terms, practise in the style of the board's papers, and take syllabus details from the board rather than old guidebooks.

Which block carries the most marks in CBSE Class 12 physics?

Electricity and magnetism, from electrostatics to alternating current, carry 33 of the 70 theory marks. Optics with electromagnetic waves is the largest single block at 18, dual nature, atoms and nuclei add 12, and semiconductor electronics 7. Transistors and logic gates have left the syllabus.

How is the Class 12 physics practical exam marked?

Two experiments earn 7 marks each, the record 5, an activity 3, the investigatory project 3 and the viva 5, making 30. The record needs at least eight experiments and six activities, split evenly between the two sections, plus the project report. A tutor can rehearse the viva at home.

How much of JEE Main and NEET is physics?

In JEE Main 2026 Paper 1, physics made up 25 of 75 questions, 20 multiple-choice and 5 numerical-value. In NEET (UG) 2026 it was 45 of 180 questions, worth 180 of 720 marks. Both awarded four marks for a correct answer and took one off for a wrong one.

What should a home tutor do with my child's coaching mock tests?

Sort every lost question into a pile: concept not known, algebra slip, ran out of time, or a wrong guess. The biggest pile decides the next week's work. Because wrong answers carry a penalty, learning which questions to leave matters as much as solving more of them.

Can a physics tutor reach Misrod for a late session?

Yes, but choose a tutor who lives in Misrod or along Hoshangabad Road. Few trains stop at Misrod station and autos thin out away from the main road, so a nearby tutor keeps a late slot reliably. Most homes are in gated townships, so register the tutor at the gate first.

Has the IB Diploma Physics course changed?

Yes. A new guide was first examined in May 2025. The options and Paper 3 were removed, and the course now runs in five themes, A to E. Two papers make up 80% of the grade and the scientific investigation 20%. Check that revision books match the current course.
