Now taking on home, online and hybrid tutors · in Naranpura, Gota & Chandkheda, Ahmedabad
This is the zone where a tutor from Gandhinagar can teach Ahmedabad families by metro. The Gandhinagar line begins at Motera Stadium, next to Chandkheda, and its final section into the capital opened in January 2026. From Motera Stadium the Red Line runs through Sabarmati and AEC to Vijay Nagar in Naranpura and on south to Paldi and Vasna. For tutors on either line, the eastern side of the zone is a straightforward ride.
No open home-tuition requests in Naranpura, Gota & Chandkheda right now. New family requests appear here as they come in; add Naranpura, Gota & Chandkheda to your travel areas so they can reach you.
Five localities in the north-west, stretching up towards Gandhinagar, form the zone: Naranpura, Ghatlodia, Gota, Chandkheda and Sabarmati. Naranpura ranges from budget apartment blocks and mid-segment societies to large bungalows, with shopping streets around Vijay Char Rasta and Ankur Road. Ghatlodia is densely built and largely low-rise, with societies of two- and three-bedroom flats, independent houses and some villas. Gota grew after SG Highway was built and is mostly mid-range apartment societies. Chandkheda has housing board societies, company colonies, apartments and independent houses along the main road towards Gandhinagar and Tragad Road, and Sabarmati mixes apartments with older homes and railway colony areas. Joining NXTutors to teach here is free.
The western side, Gota and Ghatlodia, works differently from the eastern side. With no station, it suits tutors who already live there or who travel that side of SG Highway, and many families in Gota's apartment societies look for someone who can come by two-wheeler from a nearby society.
Gota and Ghatlodia, on the western side, have no station of their own. A tutor either rides the Blue Line to Gurukul Road or Thaltej and takes an auto, catches BRTS Route 9, which ends in Gota, or drives a two-wheeler along SG Highway. For these two localities, a tutor who already travels on that side of SG Highway or the ring road is the practical choice. Naranpura's narrow internal roads also suit a two-wheeler better than a car; Vijay Nagar is its Red Line station.
The metro link to Gandhinagar widens the pool of tutors for Chandkheda and Sabarmati families, which means competition from tutors in the capital as well as from those living in the zone. Tutors who live here keep an advantage for younger children and for the western side, where there is no station. Across Ahmedabad, families study under GSEB in Gujarati, English and other media, CBSE, ICSE and ISC, so name your boards and your teaching medium clearly; GSEB Gujarati-medium students write answers in the textbook's own terms.
A sensible way to build a week here is by line. A tutor living near the Red Line can teach in Sabarmati, Chandkheda and Naranpura, and add Navrangpura, Paldi & Ellisbridge further south on the same train. A tutor living in Gota or Ghatlodia can serve those two localities and Naranpura's western lanes by two-wheeler, and teach families further away online. Add each locality you can reach on your profile and the hours you are free; for students with coaching after school, evening and weekend slots fill first.
Apartment societies in Gota and Ghatlodia usually note visitors at the gate, and some confirm the visit with the family by phone; ask the parent to tell the gate your name before the demo. Independent houses in Naranpura, Ghatlodia and older parts of Sabarmati open onto the lane, so a landmark and a map pin are what you need. In Chandkheda's housing board societies and company colonies, follow whatever visitor rule the colony uses.
Vijay Char Rasta and the roads around it crowd up in the evening, so a Naranpura class that starts before the rush is simpler to keep. Metro riders coming to Chandkheda or Sabarmati can manage later starts. SG Highway at office hours slows Gota and Ghatlodia trips. Agree festival-week changes, Navratri and Diwali, and the Uttarayan weekend in advance.

A family request that fits your subjects, classes, board, areas and hours reaches your dashboard. Opening the family's contact details uses lead credits, and the credit price is shown on the request before you open it. At most 5 tutors can open one request, and a request stays open for 7 days. Credit packs are there if you need more.
You set your own fee. When a family pays for classes through NXTutors, you receive 50% of the fee for home tuition in the first month and the full fee after that, and 70% of the fee for online tuition every month. Payments are held for 7 days, then paid out weekly. How you get paid.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
