Now taking on home, online and hybrid tutors · in Satellite, Vastrapur & Bodakdev, Ahmedabad
Which half of this zone a family lives in decides how a tutor gets there. The northern half sits on the Blue Line, which ends at Thaltej Gam and stops at Thaltej and at Gurukul Road in Memnagar. The southern half, Satellite, Jodhpur and Vastrapur, has no station, so tutors ride two-wheelers or use the BRTS and city buses on nearby corridors. Plan your profile around the half you can actually reach every week.
No open home-tuition requests in Satellite, Vastrapur & Bodakdev right now. New family requests appear here as they come in; add Satellite, Vastrapur & Bodakdev to your travel areas so they can reach you.
The SG Highway corridor zone covers Satellite, Jodhpur, Vastrapur, Bodakdev, Thaltej and Memnagar. Satellite is a long-established residential area of apartment complexes of varying age, with bungalows and villas on plotted lanes near Ramdev Nagar and Shyamal. Jodhpur, next to Shivranjani, is mostly apartments and builder floors. Vastrapur surrounds its lake, a long-time venue for music performances, with mid-rise blocks, newer towers and some bungalow lanes. Bodakdev has tall gated towers alongside bungalow streets; Thaltej has spread outward from an old village and lake; and Memnagar is mostly mid-rise societies of two- and three-bedroom flats. Joining NXTutors to teach here is free.
For Thaltej, Bodakdev and Memnagar, a tutor living on the Blue Line can ride to Thaltej Gam, Thaltej or Gurukul Road and take an auto for the last part. Thaltej Gam has been the line's western end since December 2024, so a tutor boarding in Navrangpura, the old city or the eastern suburbs rides straight through. Plotted homes in Thaltej often have room to park at the door. For Vastrapur, the Memnagar and Thaltej stations are an auto ride away. Tutors heading to Satellite mostly ride a two-wheeler or come by car or auto, and some use BRTS or city bus routes that pass nearby, including one from the Shivranjani junction.
Highway service lanes and ring-road junctions slow down in the office rush, which matters more than distance here. A tutor living in Satellite or Jodhpur can serve the southern half on short rides; a metro rider is better placed for the northern half.
Our zone guide notes that families here preparing for competitive exams often add an online specialist to a home tutor. That suits subject specialists in senior physics, chemistry, maths and biology, who can teach a few home students in Bodakdev or Memnagar and others online. Families in this zone also ask, like those across the city, for GSEB, CBSE, ICSE and ISC support, and some for IB or IGCSE; list each board and your teaching medium separately.
Add each locality you can reach on your profile rather than the zone alone, Satellite, Jodhpur, Vastrapur, Bodakdev, Thaltej or Memnagar, and mention whether you come by metro, BRTS or two-wheeler. Families in Thaltej and Memnagar can be served by a Blue Line rider from across the city; families in Satellite and Jodhpur do better with a tutor who lives nearby.
Gated towers along SG Highway often ask each visitor for a phone number at the gate, so ask the family to register your name and number with security before the demo class. Many Memnagar societies note visitors at the gate and have limited parking inside, so a two-wheeler is easier than a car. Bungalow lanes in Satellite and Bodakdev usually need only a lane name and a map pin.
Bodakdev's taller gated towers can have more than one gate and a separate desk at each tower, so ask which gate to use and which tower and floor to give. In older Satellite complexes of varying age, entry is usually simpler, with a register at the main gate.
Late-afternoon and weekend-morning lessons are the easiest to hold here; a class that begins in the evening rush on the highway service lanes often starts late. If you come by BRTS or two-wheeler, build in time for the junctions. For senior students with coaching, a weekend home session plus a shorter online session midweek is a practical pattern.
