Two things stand out. First, the primary plan and the single specialist subject can cost the same in hours, yet the specialist will usually quote toward the upper end of the band, and an IB HL specialist can go above it. Second, the Class 12 plan is where the band matters most: the gap between the two ends is large, so it pays to decide which of the three subjects needs the strongest tutor and which needs mainly practice.

The Surat Metro's Red and Green lines are still being built and are not open to passengers, so plan today's budget on today's roads and buses. Families in Vesu and Piplod mostly live in gated societies, where a standing visitor entry saves time at every visit, while in Rander or Nanpura the tutor rings the bell directly. Does the board change what you pay?
Not as a rule. Surat students sit GSEB, CBSE, ICSE and ISC, and IB or Cambridge IGCSE, and each tutor sets one fee for their own reasons. What the board changes is who is suitable. - Agree festival weeks in advance. Navratri and the Diwali holidays change family routines. Settle beforehand how paused weeks are handled, so nobody pays for lessons that did not happen.
- Cap exam-season extras. Extra classes before boards are common; agree the rate and a limit in advance.
