Loni Home Tuition Guide: Ankur Vihar, Loni Border, Rampark, Behta Hajipur and Tronica City

By NXTutors Academic Team 11 min read

Loni is a town of Ghaziabad district in the Upper Ganga-Yamuna Doab, and its western colonies meet north-east Delhi at the state border. The Loni Nagar Palika Parishad has its office in Khanna Nagar, and Rampark is the headquarters of Loni tehsil. For tuition, the town falls into five groups: the colonies around Ankur Vihar and Lal Bagh along the Delhi border; Indrapuri and Jawahar Nagar at Loni Border; the central town around Rampark and Khanna Nagar; Behta Hajipur and Banthla towards the Loni-Ghaziabad Road; and Tronica City and Mandola on the northern side. This guide goes through all eighteen localities, with the details a tutor needs for a first visit.

Getting a tutor to your door

Tutors reach Loni homes by two-wheeler, shared auto or the Delhi Metro, so a reference point they already know matters more than a long address. Two Pink Line stations sit on the border: Shiv Vihar, the line's terminal, which opened in October 2018 at the Loni border on NH 709B, and Johri Enclave, at the edge of Gulab Vatika and Jawahar Nagar. On the railway, Noli and Behta Hazipur are among the halts that serve the town; Noli is on the Shamli-Saharanpur line, which runs towards Delhi via Shahdara.

Ankur Vihar and Lal Bagh

This belt runs along the Delhi border, with Karawal Nagar and Shiv Vihar just across the line. It mixes a planned township laid out in blocks with older colonies, and Loni Road is the spine most families use when they give directions.

Ankur Vihar: a planned township on Loni Road whose blocks carry letters, ringed by Sarla Vihar, Ved Vihar and Lal Bagh, with the Khajuri Pusta Road along the border. Blocks look much the same, so lead with the letter, then the house number and a park on the corner.

Ved Vihar: next to Ankur Vihar, reached from Loni Road, with Nasbandi Colony nearby. Most homes are family houses, so if two children will share the tutor's time, say before the demo which child needs what.

Lal Bagh: often written Lalbag Colony on forms, it borders Shiv Vihar on the Delhi side and Indrapuri and Balram Nagar on the Loni side. Shanti Nagar and Janaki Panchal Vihar are among its pockets. Some families here kept a Delhi school after moving, so name the school's board in the request.

Balram Nagar: part of the wider Lal Bagh area, near Roop Nagar and Budh Nagar, off the 100 Feet Road and NH-709B. Write "Balram Nagar, Lal Bagh" so a tutor from outside places it at once.

Indrapuri and Jawahar Nagar

This is the Loni Border side, where NH-709B crosses from Delhi into Uttar Pradesh and both Pink Line stations are close at hand. Tutors arriving from north-east Delhi can reach this zone first, which can widen the choice for an evening slot.

Indrapuri: also called Indrapuri Colony, an older colony between Lal Bagh, Jawahar Nagar and Rampark that once had a city bus terminal. It is not Indirapuram in Ghaziabad, so always write "Indrapuri, Loni".

Jawahar Nagar: the colony at Loni Border beside NH-709B, with Shiv Vihar station next to it and Gulab Vatika, Indrapuri and Lal Bagh as neighbours. Delhi and many other cities have a Jawahar Nagar of their own, so "Loni Border Jawahar Nagar" avoids a wasted trip.

Gulab Vatika: also written Gulab Watika, a colony on the Loni side of the border next to Jawahar Nagar and Johri Enclave, where the station of that name stands. Laxmi Garden, Indrapuri and Behta Hajipur lie a little further along. Put the block and gali number in the first message.

Rampark and Khanna Nagar

The centre of Loni holds the tehsil headquarters at Rampark and the Nagar Palika Parishad office in Khanna Nagar, with the old village core of Loni Dehat beside them. Lanes are narrower here, and directions usually go by a road name and a turning.

Rampark: also written Ram Park, in central Loni, with Rampark Extension among its pockets and Halwa Road or Ilayachipur Road as the usual way in. For an Intermediate student, ask the tutor how the board's model papers will be used in the final months.

Khanna Nagar: a residential colony near Rampark, Budh Nagar and Indrapuri, and home to the Nagar Palika Parishad office, a landmark any local tutor will know. The inner lanes sit back from the main road. The move from Class 8 to Class 9 is a sensible moment to ask a tutor for a short review of maths and science basics.

Pooja Colony: sometimes written Puja Colony, a pocket next to Rampark with Budh Nagar and Indrapuri nearby, reached by Tomar Road and SH 57. Houses stand on narrow lanes, so tell the tutor where a two-wheeler can be left. If you would like a woman tutor, say so in the request.

Loni Dehat: the old village core of Loni, a mix of family homes, farmland and newer plots, bordered by Ankur Vihar, Ved Vihar and Behta Hajipur, with Loni Road and NH-709B as its main roads. Homes are found by landmark more than by street name, so for the first visit, offer to meet the tutor at the main road.

Behta Hajipur and Banthla

This side of town lies between NH-709B and the Loni-Ghaziabad Road. It takes in a large census town, a village with newer colonies around it and a housing scheme of numbered blocks. Tutors may set out from the Loni side or from the Ghaziabad city side, so name the road you live off.

Behta Hajipur: also spelt Behta Hazipur, a census town in the Loni block that comes under Loni Nagar Palika. Its south-western edge follows NH-709B and its north-eastern edge the Loni-Ghaziabad Road, and it adjoins Mandoli. The area is large, so start by saying which end you live at.

Dharoti Khurd: a pocket within Behta Hajipur, surrounded by Banthla, Noli and Mandoli and served by the Loni-Ghaziabad Road, Chirodi Road and the Banthla flyover. Property sites also spell it Dheroti Khurd or Dharoti Kharod; use the spelling on your own address so a map search finds it.

Banthla: also written Banthala, a village in the Loni block close to the town, with Tila Shahbazpur, Sikhrani and Javli among its neighbours and the Loni-Ghaziabad Road alongside. Older homes stand beside newer colonies. If your child is moving from Hindi medium to English medium, tell the tutor, who can plan for the new subject words in maths and science.

Indraprastha Yojna: a housing scheme, also written Indraprastha Awas Yojna, with Koyal Enclave, Sangam Vihar and Banthla among its neighbours. Homes sit in numbered blocks; send pocket, block and flat, plus the gate a visitor should use.

Tronica City and Mandola

The northern side mixes a planned township with older villages and a housing board scheme. Its roads are longer and less familiar to tutors from the border colonies, so a map pin with the first message saves time.

Tronica City: a planned township from the state industrial development corporation, split into residential, industrial, institutional and commercial sectors. Tutors come in by the Alipur bund road on the Yamuna side, the Delhi-Saharanpur road on the other, or Chirodi Road. Give the sector and the plot or flat number.

Mandola: home to Mandola Vihar, a state housing board scheme of one-bedroom flats, beside Loni Khas and Loni Dehat and linked by the Loni-Murnagar Road. In a compact flat, set aside a table and an hour with no visitors.

Pavi Sadakpur: a patwari circle counted among Rampark's pockets, next to Mandola. Shared autos stop at Pavi Pusta and Tronica City; name whichever is nearer your lane.

Boards and subjects in Loni

Children in Loni study under the UP Board (Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad), CBSE, or the CISCE's ICSE and ISC, in Hindi or English medium. The UP Board, set up in 1921 at Prayagraj, prescribes courses and textbooks for its two levels and conducts the High School examination after Class 10 and the Intermediate examination after Class 12. Its website, upmsp.edu.in, carries the syllabus, model papers and a question bank, and it is the only place to trust for its notices.

A family that lives in Loni but keeps a child at a Delhi school should say so up front. The tutor then follows that school's board, textbooks and term calendar, not a Loni school's.

Home, online or a mix

A tutor at the table suits younger children and anyone who works better with company in the room; an online class suits a specialist who lives far away or a slot late in the evening. An online tutor for Loni students can join a home plan at any stage. For what a quote should cover, read home tuition fees in Loni, and for the broader trade-offs, home tutor or online tutor. Neighbouring hubs are Ghaziabad, Delhi and Noida.

How NXTutors can help

Tell us the class, board, medium, subjects and your Loni locality. We suggest two or three matched tutors, nearest first, then your zone and the rest of Loni, and online tutors from across India when they fit the subject better. You see each tutor's fee before the demo, the first class with each tutor is free, and switching tutor later costs nothing. Tutors who join go through an ID check; the Verified badge appears only after the ID check is complete, as described on how we check tutors.

Begin at home tutors in Loni, keep the demo class checklist nearby and book a free demo class. Teachers based in or around Loni can browse family requests on tuition jobs in Loni.

Frequently asked questions

Which parts of Loni does this tuition guide cover?

This guide covers eighteen Loni localities grouped into five zones. They are Ankur Vihar and Lal Bagh, Indrapuri and Jawahar Nagar, Rampark and Khanna Nagar, Behta Hajipur and Banthla, and Tronica City and Mandola. Each locality links to its own page, with notes on neighbours, roads and what to send a tutor, and the tutors we can suggest there.

How do tutors from Delhi reach homes in Loni?

Tutors from north-east Delhi can cross at Loni Border on NH-709B, by road or on the Pink Line to Shiv Vihar or Johri Enclave. From there, colonies such as Jawahar Nagar, Gulab Vatika and Lal Bagh are the first they reach. For homes further in, name the road you live off and send a map pin before the demo.

Is Indrapuri in Loni the same place as Indirapuram in Ghaziabad?

No, Indrapuri in Loni and Indirapuram in Ghaziabad are two different places, so spell your locality out in full. Write "Indrapuri, Loni" in the request and add a neighbour such as Lal Bagh, Jawahar Nagar or Rampark. The same care helps with Jawahar Nagar: "Loni Border Jawahar Nagar" tells a tutor exactly which one you mean.

Does NXTutors have UP Board tutors for Loni students?

Yes, NXTutors shortlists UP Board tutors for Loni students when you mention the board, the class and the medium. We start with tutors who live nearest to you. If no suitable home tutor is close by, we suggest online tutors who teach the UP Board, so lessons still follow the prescribed textbooks and the model papers on upmsp.edu.in.

What if no home tutor lives near our part of Loni?

If no home tutor lives near your part of Loni, NXTutors widens the search step by step. We look across your zone, then the rest of Loni, then online tutors from across India. You can also browse the Ghaziabad and Delhi hubs yourself. Whichever route you take, the first class with each tutor is a free demo.

What should our first message to a Loni tutor include?

Your first message to a Loni tutor should give the class, board, medium, subjects and the days your child is free. Add the colony, block or pocket, house or flat number and the main road, such as Loni Road or the Loni-Ghaziabad Road. If your child attends school in Delhi, mention its closing time so the slot fits.
