North Kohima & Kohima Village

- Kohima Village (Bara Basti): also called Kewhira, the settlement Kohima is named after, on the high ground to the north-east. Homes spread across the slope, so give a clear landmark and the closest point a taxi can reach.
- Peraciezie: the first of the municipal wards, at the northern end of the city, with neighbourhood schools of its own. Tutors from the southern wards cross the centre to get here, so avoid the hour when offices close.
