What has left the CBSE Class 12 chemistry paper, and can entrance students ignore it?

Two areas are no longer in the 2026-27 course: the solid state, and the p-block from Group 15 to Group 18. Four others remain in lessons but are marked inside school only: polymers, surface chemistry, everyday chemistry, and how elements are isolated.
