Where Sectors 7 and 8 are mostly DDA pockets and rebuilt plots, Sector 9 is dominated by group housing. In Sector 9 the society name is the address. A tutor told "Gulab Vihar, Tower B" will find you faster than one given only a flat number, and the guard at the gate will be expecting a name. Most of these complexes are several storeys high with lifts in the newer blocks and stairs in some older ones, so mention which you have.
Flats in these complexes share walls, stairwells and often a central courtyard where children play in the evening. For a focused lesson, pick the room furthest from the courtyard side, close the windows during the busiest play hour, and keep a fixed table that stays set up between visits. If a younger sibling is at home, plan an activity for them in another room for the length of the lesson. Small things like these matter more in a society flat than in a standalone house, because the noise around you is not under your control.
Daily shopping gathers at D.C. Chowk, which OpenStreetMap marks as a market, and at the DDA Market Sector 9. North Ex Mall is on the map inside the sector, and a Jaivik Haat organic store is listed too. Banks and pharmacies line Bhagwan Mahavir Marg. The Razapur neighbourhood is marked on the edge of the sector.

By metro. Square Yards measures the nearest station as Rohini West, about 1.1 km away; Wikipedia places it in Sectors 6 and 10, in front of Unity One Mall. By bus. Square Yards lists DTC lines 114C, 988, 997 and DW3, with stops named Rohini Sector 9, D.C. Chowk and A Block Rohini Sector 9. OpenStreetMap adds a Rohini Sports Complex stop.
By road. Bhagwan Mahavir Marg links Sector 9 to the other sectors, and Square Yards notes that Kadambari Road leads towards Rohini East and Pitampura. Inside the sector, RN Gujral Marg and Vasundhara Lane connect the societies.
Because Sector 9 is central, tutors in Sectors 7, 8, 10, 13 and 14 have a short trip. A tutor from Pitampura can take Kadambari Road, and one from further afield can ride the Red Line in.
