Rasulpur, also spelt Rasoolpur, is one of the old village names on whose land Firozabad was built in the sixteenth century, and today it is a residential part of the south-east of the city. Addresses here usually include a gali number, which is the quickest way to guide a tutor to the door. Tutors from Tilak Nagar, Ram Nagar and the city centre can reach it, so families here usually have a fair choice of nearby teachers.
Rasulpur parents with children in Classes 6 to 8 often say the jump from simple sums to algebra and geometry is where trouble begins. A tutor who teaches through short daily practice and checks the school notebook works well at this stage. If your child studies in Hindi medium, mention it so the tutor explains terms in Hindi while also teaching the English words used in later classes.
Lessons in the late afternoon suit most families here. Keep a fixed, quiet spot in the house for study, away from the television. During the free demo, ask the tutor what they expect your child to manage after one month of classes, and write it down so you can check later.
