What home tuition costs in Firozabad

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.

Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

NEET home tutor in Firozabad: NCERT biology read line by line, terms learnt in two languages, papers sat on paper

Half of the NEET paper is biology, and nearly every biology question can be traced to a sentence, a table or a diagram in the NCERT books. That makes the subject very learnable at home, as long as someone keeps checking that what was read last week is still remembered. For a Firozabad student, a home tutor usually adds three things: that regular checking, patient help with the physics numericals that stall, and a steady eye on the Class 12 board so it is not crowded out. This page shows how to plan all three, how to handle Hindi and English terms, and how tutors reach different parts of the city. For the full exam and syllabus, read our national NEET home tutor page.

The NEET (UG) paper at a glance

The NTA's 2026 bulletin set NEET (UG) as a single sitting, on paper with a pen, of 180 questions, all compulsory and all multiple choice: biology 90 (botany and zoology), physics 45 and chemistry 45, for 720 marks. A right answer earned four marks and a wrong one cost a mark. Booklets came in English, in Hindi with English, or in English with one of several regional languages. The minimum age was 17, with no upper limit. The National Medical Commission notifies the syllabus; its biology part has ten units, split evenly between Class 11 and Class 12, and tracks the NCERT books. Read the current bulletin on neet.nta.nic.in each year, because details can change.

Reading NCERT biology the way the paper reads it

Students often "finish" a biology chapter by reading it once. The paper then asks about a single line in a table, a label on a diagram or an exception in a footnote. A tutor's job is to change how the chapter is read:

  • Line by line. After each section, the student closes the book and says what it contained. Gaps show at once.
  • Turned into questions. The tutor takes a sentence and asks it back as a multiple-choice question, with wrong options that sound right. Students soon start doing this themselves.
  • Diagrams from memory. Each key diagram is drawn and labelled without looking, then checked against the book.
  • Tables and examples. Lists of examples, such as plant families or hormones, are tested little and often, because they fade fastest.

This work suits short sessions. Two or three brief checks a week, at home or online, usually keep more biology alive than one long weekend class. Our guide to NEET biology, NCERT first sets out a chapter order.

Hindi and English terms: build one glossary

Many Firozabad students learn science in Hindi at school and meet English terms in NEET books, or the reverse. Biology is full of technical words, so this matters more here than in any other subject. The simplest fix is a two-column glossary kept from the first chapter of Class 11: the Hindi term on one side, the English on the other, with a one-line meaning. The tutor tests it every week. Then decide on the booklet language early, using the list in the current bulletin, and practise every mock in that language. A tutor who can explain in Hindi but insists on answers in the chosen booklet language gives the student both: understanding and exam-ready wording.

Physics and chemistry: ask for the right kind of help

What to ask a tutor for, subject by subject
SubjectCommon problemWhat the tutor should do
PhysicsKnows the formula but cannot start the problemSit beside the student, ask which principle applies, and stop at the first wrong step
Physical chemistrySlips in moles, equilibrium or electrochemistry numericalsWorked numericals at the table, units checked every time
Organic chemistryReactions mixed upA reaction notebook built chapter by chapter, with quick oral checks
Inorganic chemistryFacts and trends forgottenShort, frequent quizzes, which work well online

A request that says "help with NEET" often ends with one tutor spreading an hour across three subjects. A request that says "physics numericals, twice a week, and a biology check online" gets a far better match. The Firozabad pages for physics, chemistry and biology describe each subject, and the NEET physics tutor page goes deeper.

The UP Board Class 12 biology paper beside NEET

For a UP Board student, the 2026-27 Class 12 biology file sets a 100-mark subject: a 70-mark written paper and 30 marks of practical work. The written marks fall like this:

UP Board Class 12 biology, 2026-27 (written paper)
UnitMarksLink to NEET work
Reproduction14Diagrams of flowers and human reproductive systems serve both papers
Genetics and evolution18The largest unit; crosses and pedigrees need written practice too
Biology and human welfare14Heavy on examples, so recall checks pay off
Biotechnology10Process steps learnt in order
Ecology14Definitions and examples, tested little and often

The content overlaps heavily with the NEET Class 12 units, but the board paper wants written answers with labelled diagrams, which a student who only practises multiple-choice questions forgets how to do. Chemistry also has its own 70-mark theory paper, with at least 8 marks of numericals, and a practical. And General Hindi, a single 100-mark paper with 33 needed to pass, should not be left to the last weeks; our UP Board tutors in Firozabad page explains it. CBSE and ISC students can read CBSE home tutors in Firozabad and ICSE and ISC tutors in Firozabad.

One month, laid out

An example for a Class 12 student. The pattern matters more than the exact days: biology often, physics in fuller sittings, and one proper paper with a review each week.

An example NEET month for a Firozabad Class 12 student
WeekMain focusAlongside
Week 1A new biology chapter read line by line, with two short recall checksPhysics: one chapter's numericals at home
Week 2Glossary test and diagrams from memory for that chapterPhysical chemistry numericals
Week 3The next biology chapter; revision of last month'sBoard work: one written answer and the practical record
Week 4A full practice paper on paper, then a review of every lost markA Hindi passage and letter, checked once

In the hot months, early-evening home sessions are kinder for both child and tutor. In the central lanes, an early slot after school or a weekend morning is easier to keep than a late-evening visit.

Zone pages: Gandhi Nagar and City Centre, Tilak Nagar and Rasulpur and Asafabad and Madina Colony. Every locality is on the Firozabad home tutors page, and the Firozabad home tuition guide covers addresses and timing. If a biology specialist is not within reach, see online tuition in Firozabad; the neighbouring Agra and Aligarh pages list tutors there too.

Mock papers on paper, with a bubble sheet

In 2026 the exam was written with a pen, so home mocks should match: a printed paper, a separate sheet of bubbles, a pen, and no breaks. Then the tutor makes three lists per subject: wrong answers, skipped questions, and the moment the clock started to bite. Since each wrong answer takes a mark away, agree a clear rule with the tutor for when to leave a question, and then follow it in every paper. After four or five papers, the lists show whether the real problem is knowledge, accuracy or speed, and the lessons should shift to fix that.

Three starting points: Class 11, Class 12, another year

The 2026 bulletin had a minimum age of 17 and no upper limit; check the current bulletin before planning another year.

Testing a NEET tutor in the free demo

  1. Ask the tutor to turn one NCERT biology sentence into a multiple-choice question. Was it a fair, tricky question?
  2. Bring a physics numerical your child could not start. Did the tutor ask questions before showing the method?
  3. Did the tutor use terms in your child's booklet language, and explain in the language your child follows most easily?
  4. Did the tutor ask about the board, the practical record and the school timetable?
  5. Can the tutor keep a regular slot from where they live?

If the match is not right, we arrange another demo, and switching tutor later is free. The demo class checklist has more.

NEET Home Tutor in Firozabad: common questions

How are NEET tutor fees decided for a Firozabad student?

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Each NEET tutor in Firozabad sets their own fee, shown before the demo. Sessions per week and the mix of home and online classes change the monthly total.

How do we start looking for a NEET home tutor in Firozabad?

To start, send the class, board, booklet language, the help needed in each subject and your Firozabad locality with a landmark. We send two or three matched tutors, each fee shown before the first class. The first class is a free demo, and switching tutor later is free.

How should a Firozabad student read NCERT biology for NEET?

A Firozabad student should read NCERT biology line by line, then close the book and say what each section contained. The tutor turns sentences into multiple-choice questions, asks for diagrams from memory and tests tables of examples often. Two or three short checks a week keep more biology alive than one long class.

Why should a Hindi-medium NEET student keep a glossary?

A Hindi-medium NEET student should keep a glossary because biology is full of technical words in both languages. Write the Hindi term, the English term and a one-line meaning from the first Class 11 chapter. The tutor tests it weekly, and every mock is practised in the chosen booklet language.

What help should a NEET request ask for in physics and chemistry?

A NEET request should name the exact help needed in each subject. Physics needs worked problems with the tutor watching each step. Physical chemistry needs numericals at the table, organic chemistry a reaction notebook, and inorganic chemistry short, frequent quizzes, which work well online.

How is UP Board Class 12 biology marked for a Firozabad NEET student?

UP Board Class 12 biology is a 100-mark subject: a 70-mark written paper and 30 practical marks for 2026-27. Genetics and evolution carries 18 written marks; reproduction, biology and human welfare, and ecology carry 14 each; biotechnology carries 10. The board wants written answers with labelled diagrams.

Should a Firozabad NEET student practise papers on paper or on screen?

A Firozabad NEET student should practise full papers on paper, because the 2026 exam was a pen-and-paper test. Use a printed paper, a bubble answer sheet, a pen and one unbroken sitting. Afterwards the tutor lists wrong answers, blanks and where time ran short, subject by subject.

Are there NEET tutors who can reach Gazipur?

Fewer tutors live on the southern edge around Gazipur, so NXTutors also looks in Rasulpur, Ram Nagar and Tilak Nagar. Share a map pin and the road from the city side, and spell it Gazipur, not Ghazipur. An online biology check can be added if no specialist is within reach.

What does a sensible NEET month look like for a Class 12 student in Firozabad?

A sensible NEET month for a Firozabad Class 12 student keeps biology frequent and physics in fuller sittings. One example is a new biology chapter with recall checks, a glossary and diagram week, a revision week with board work, and a full practice paper with a review in week four.

How can parents test a NEET tutor during the free demo?

Parents can ask the tutor to turn one NCERT biology sentence into a fair but tricky multiple-choice question. Bring a physics numerical your child could not start and watch whether the tutor asks questions first. Also check the language, and ask whether they track the board practical record.
