Tutors who join go through an ID check. Tell us the class, board and your area: we share two or three matched tutors, each with their fee, and the first class is a free demo, at home or online.
Book a free demo classAcross NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

A student in Hanamkonda, Kazipet or Warangal who wants engineering usually carries three loads at once: the two-year Intermediate course with Mathematics IA, IB, IIA and IIB, the state's TG EAPCET, and JEE (Main), with JEE (Advanced) for those who qualify. The junior college day is long, and the papers do not ask the same things. A home tutor earns a place in that week by doing a clearly named job, not by adding a fourth syllabus. This page sets out what the official documents say about each exam, where a tutor helps most, how tutors reach different parts of the tri-city, and what to check in the demo. For the exam itself in more depth, read our national JEE home tutor page.
The National Testing Agency's 2026 bulletin describes Paper 1 as an online, centre-based paper covering mathematics, physics and chemistry. Section A of every subject held 20 multiple-choice items and Section B held 5 more whose answer is typed in as a number, rounded to the nearest integer. That is 75 questions and 300 marks. Both sections carried four marks for a correct answer and lost one for a wrong one, so guessing on a numerical question is no longer free. The test ran in a January session and an April session, and a candidate who sat both was judged on the better NTA score. There was no age limit. The paper was offered in thirteen languages, and at centres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana a candidate could choose English and Telugu.
JEE (Advanced) is a separate step. Its 2026 eligibility page asked candidates to be among the 2,50,000 highest-placed successful candidates in the B.E./B.Tech. paper of JEE (Main), to have taken physics, chemistry and mathematics in Class 12, and allowed at most two attempts in two consecutive years. Its brochure set two papers of three hours each, both compulsory, with question papers in English and Hindi. Rules change from year to year, so plan from the current bulletin on jeemain.nta.nic.in and the brochure on jeeadv.ac.in.
TG EAPCET is the Telangana entrance for engineering, agriculture and pharmacy, conducted on behalf of the Telangana Council of Higher Education. Its 2026 notification asks students who took maths, physics and chemistry (it uses the name MPC) to apply in the Engineering, or E, stream, and students with biology, physics and chemistry (BiPC) to apply in the Agriculture and Pharmacy stream. It is a computer-based test held over several sessions, with marks normalised across sessions. Among the eligibility conditions is a minimum of 45% in the group subjects taken together at Intermediate, 40% for reserved categories.
Two details matter to Warangal families. First, the 2026 E-stream syllabus says it is in tune with the Intermediate syllabus of the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education, so a student who learns the Intermediate chapters thoroughly is already preparing for most of EAPCET. Second, the 2026 list of test zones included a Warangal zone, with centres around Warangal, Hanamkonda, Hasanparthy and Narsampet. Check the current list on eapcet.tgche.ac.in when you apply. Our Hyderabad TG EAPCET tutor page explains the test further.
Letting junior college slide once entrance work starts is risky under the board's current rules. From 2026-27, first-year Mathematics IA and IB in the MPC group each carry 60 theory marks and 15 internal marks. The internal part comes from three things: the average of the two highest scores in four unit tests, a record of at least ten mathematical activities with one from every chapter, and an activity-based problem-solving test with a viva, held around January or February, which is compulsory. Theory and internal marks are passed separately: 21 of 60 and 5 of 15.
Physics and chemistry add a 15-mark external practical in the first year, run by an examiner the board appoints, with the student's certified record book checked on the day. The board's FAQs say there is no improvement examination for practicals. All of it needs steady work through the year, and a JEE tutor who ignores it can cost a student marks that count toward the EAPCET eligibility line. Our Telangana Board home tutor in Warangal page covers the board scheme in full.
The most useful arrangements we see name the job before the first class. Four jobs cover most Warangal students:
| Test | Run by | What a tutor watches |
|---|---|---|
| Intermediate (IPE) | Telangana Board of Intermediate Education | Written method, internal marks, practical records |
| TG EAPCET (E stream) | Conducted on behalf of the Telangana Council of Higher Education | Speed and accuracy on Intermediate-level questions |
| JEE (Main) Paper 1 | National Testing Agency | Negative marking in both sections, numerical answers |
| JEE (Advanced) | Through jeeadv.ac.in, for those who qualify | Longer, multi-concept problems across two papers |
A slot only helps if it survives the whole year, including unit-test weeks and the practical season. Write down the college timetable, any class your child attends, and the hours set aside for sleep. The gap that never moves is the tutor's slot. Common patterns in the tri-city:
| Slot | Good for | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Early morning before college | A focused home session in the weakest subject | Fresh mind, no clash with college work |
| Weekday evening after college | A short online doubt session while the day's problems are fresh | No one has to travel after dark |
| Sunday morning | A timed section, then review in the same sitting | Gives the longest unbroken block of the week |
| Unit-test and practical weeks | Board revision only | Keeps tutor work from colliding with college |
Tutors who live on your own side of the tri-city tend to stay for the whole Intermediate year; long crossings are what usually end an arrangement.
| Locality | Who can usually reach it | What to send before the demo |
|---|---|---|
| Kadipikonda | Tutors living on the Kazipet side, beside the railway junction | House number, colony and the nearest point on the road from Kazipet |
| Madikonda | Tutors from Kazipet; fewer from Hanamkonda, so online often fills a gap | The turn you take from National Highway 163 and a location pin |
| Deshaipet | Tutors from the older parts of Warangal and the north-eastern side | Street and the nearest junction on Desaipet Road, plus any gate name |
| Enumamula | Tutors from Deshaipet, Kashibugga and nearby colonies | Colony name, road junction and a pin; a fixed slot for trading weeks |
| Kareemabad | Tutors from both Kazipet and the old city, since it lies between them | Lane name, a known point on the main road, and whether the house is upstairs |
| Shambunipet | Tutors from across southern Warangal, around Fort Road and Hunter Road | Lane name and the nearest point on Fort Road; both spellings work on the form |
The zone pages for Kazipet and Madikonda, Kashibugga and Enumamula and Shiva Nagar and Fort Road add more detail, every locality is listed on the Warangal home tutors page, and our Warangal home tuition guide walks through the tri-city zone by zone.
| Subject | Usual format | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Mathematics | At home for new chapters; online for reviewing a finished test | Long working on paper is easier to follow in person; a marked test is easy to share |
| Physics | At home | Most errors happen when setting up the problem, and the tutor needs to watch that moment |
| Chemistry | Online for recall checks; at home if mole-concept and equilibrium sums go wrong | Quick quizzes on reactions and trends work well over video |
For harder JEE (Advanced) problems, the right specialist may well teach online from Hyderabad or another city rather than live nearby. Online maths or physics only works if the tutor can see the working, so set up a phone above the notebook or use a pen tablet. Our online tuition in Warangal page explains the set-up, and our home or online tutor article weighs the two.
The jump from SSC to IA and IB is sharp, and physics starts asking for careful algebra at the same time. A notebook of repeated errors, begun in the first weeks, pays off for two years. Keep up with unit tests and the activity record from the start, because they now count.
IIA, IIB, physics and chemistry revision, the board papers, EAPCET and JEE all compete for the same months. In June, ask the tutor to block out on a calendar the weeks reserved for board answers and practical records.
Go through last year's papers question by question first. A student who is free in the daytime can choose from more tutors. Check the current JEE (Main) and JEE (Advanced) rules on attempts and eligibility first.
For subject depth, read the JEE physics tutor page and the chapter-wise plans for maths, physics and chemistry. For school-side help, see our Warangal maths, physics and chemistry pages.

Yes, one tutor can usually cover both, because the 2026 TG EAPCET engineering syllabus says it is in tune with the TGBIE Intermediate syllabus. The tutor builds the Intermediate chapters thoroughly, then adds timed JEE Main practice with its negative marking. JEE Advanced needs longer multi-concept problems as a further layer, so plan that part separately.
Yes, the TG EAPCET 2026 list of test zones included a Warangal zone, with centres around Warangal, Hanamkonda, Hasanparthy and Narsampet. Zones and centres are fixed each year by the convener, who may add or remove centres, so check the current list on eapcet.tgche.ac.in when you fill in the application form.
Each subject in JEE Main 2026 Paper 1 had 20 multiple-choice questions and 5 numerical-value questions, across maths, physics and chemistry. That made 75 questions and 300 marks. Both sections gave four marks for a right answer and took one away for a wrong one, and numerical answers were rounded to the nearest integer.
Yes, the JEE Main 2026 bulletin offered English and Telugu at examination centres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, among thirteen languages in all. JEE Advanced 2026 papers were in English and Hindi only. A student who plans to sit both may prefer to practise technical terms in English from early on.
A JEE tutor should care because, from 2026-27, first-year Maths IA and IB each carry 15 internal marks that must be passed separately from the 60-mark theory paper. They come from unit tests, a record of at least ten activities and a compulsory viva, and Intermediate marks also decide TG EAPCET eligibility.
Tutors living on the Kazipet side reach Madikonda and Kadipikonda most easily, while Kareemabad, between Kazipet and the old city, draws tutors from both directions. For Madikonda, describe the turn from National Highway 163 and share a location pin. Fewer tutors live near Madikonda, so many families there add an online subject.
Physics is usually the subject to take at home, because most errors happen while the problem is being set up and the tutor needs to watch that step. New maths chapters also suit the table. Chemistry recall checks and the review of a finished test work well online, especially when the right specialist lives elsewhere.
Tell us the class, board and your area. We share two or three matched tutors, and the first class is a free demo.
