Warangal Home Tuition Guide: Hanamkonda, Gopalapuram, Kazipet, Kashibugga and Fort Road

By NXTutors Academic Team 11 min read

Warangal in north-eastern Telangana is a tri-city: Hanamkonda, Kazipet and the old city of Warangal, linked by National Highway 163 and looked after by the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation. For tuition, families usually describe their home in five groups. Central Hanamkonda takes in Subedari, Nakkalagutta and the colonies around them; Gopalapuram, Bheemaram and Hasanparthy run out to the north-west; Kazipet and Madikonda form the junction side; Kashibugga, Deshaipet and Enumamula lie to the north-east of the old city; and Shiva Nagar, Kareemabad, Rangasaipet and Shambunipet sit on the southern side around Fort Road. This guide covers all twenty localities, zone by zone.

Landmarks a tutor in the tri-city will know

Most tutors here come by two-wheeler or auto, so a landmark that everyone knows is worth more than a long postal address. Kazipet Junction, on the New Delhi to Chennai main line, links Hyderabad with Vijayawada and is the point most people on the Kazipet side give. Warangal railway station, on the same main line, anchors the old city. Intercity buses run from the Hanamkonda and Warangal bus stations. National Highway 163 comes in from Hyderabad through Madikonda, and National Highway 563 crosses the city between Ramagundam and Khammam. Warangal Fort, built under the Kakatiyas in the 13th century, is the landmark on the southern side, and Waddepally Lake is the familiar one towards Gopalapuram.

Hanamkonda Centre

Hanamkonda is the headquarters town of Hanumakonda district, and its centre is where many tri-city families live. The colonies sit close together, so a tutor based in one can often teach in two or three neighbouring ones on the same evening.

Subedari: an older residential part of Hanamkonda, with family homes on lanes behind the main road. Give the lane, house number and one corner landmark. Weekday evening classes after homework are the usual pattern, and Class 10 SSC revision is a frequent request.

Nakkalagutta: the busy commercial heart of Hanamkonda, with banks and offices along its main road and homes on the streets behind. Book a slot that avoids the busy early evening, or keep weekday classes online and one home visit at the weekend.

Balasamudram: a settled locality near Gokul Nagar and Nakkalagutta with quieter streets. It suits younger learners; late-afternoon classes for reading and number work fit well. Streets branch in several directions, so name the nearest corner shop.

Gokul Nagar: a colony in the middle of central Hanamkonda, with Balasamudram, Kishanpura, Naim Nagar and Vidya Nagar around it. Tutors from all of those can reach it. Homes with two children at different stages should ask whether one tutor can plan for both.

Naim Nagar: a residential part of Hanamkonda with its own post office, near Gokul Nagar, Vidya Nagar and Gopalapuram. Intermediate students here often pair a late-evening online class on weekdays with a weekend home visit.

Gopalapuram & Hasanparthy

This north-western side is more open than central Hanamkonda. Fewer tutors live inside each locality, so a fixed slot and clear directions matter, and many families combine a home tutor with an online one.

Gopalapuram: the part nearest the centre, with Bheemaram, Naim Nagar, Vidya Nagar, Hanuman Nagar and Waddepally as neighbours. Say which board and medium your child follows, since families in the same colony can differ, and give the colony and cross road.

Bheemaram: further out towards Hasanparthy, with its own branch post office and homes spread more widely. Send a location pin before the first class. A home tutor for the core subject and an online class for a second subject is a common plan.

Hasanparthy: a mandal headquarters town beyond Bheemaram, with the Hasanparthy Road halt inside the wider city limits. Some students travel into Hanamkonda for school or junior college, so shorter classes on more days often suit them better than long sessions.

Kazipet & Madikonda

Kazipet grew around its junction and a diesel locomotive maintenance division, which is why railway colonies are part of the town. The zone runs from the side facing Hanamkonda out to Madikonda on the highway.

Kazipet: the junction town, with localities such as Somidi, Diesel Colony, Prasanth Nagar and Siddhartha Nagar. In a railway colony, give the quarter number, block or line and the gate to use. Children who arrive mid-year from another board benefit from a quick check of last year's topics.

Fathima Nagar: on the side of Kazipet that faces Hanamkonda, with its own post office. Tutors from both towns can reach it, which widens the choice. Give the colony name and the cross road you turn into, and mention any gate.

Kadipikonda: right beside the junction, covering two divisions of the municipal corporation and with its own post office. Afternoon classes soon after school suit young children here. Describe your home from the nearest well-known point on the road from Kazipet.

Bapuji Nagar: one of Kazipet's main localities, with a busy main road and homes on the side streets. Class 9 is a sensible year to start regular help. Tell the tutor how far your home is from the main road and name a bank or shop near the turn.

Madikonda: on National Highway 163 at the western edge of the tri-city, once a village and now part of the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation. Families new to the area often mix one home subject with one online subject. Describe the turn from the highway and send a pin.

Kashibugga & Enumamula

The north-eastern side of the old city mixes long-settled lanes with more spread-out streets. Tutors from the older parts of Warangal can reach all three localities without crossing to Hanamkonda.

Kashibugga: an older residential area near Ganesh Nagar and Keerthi Nagar Colony, with Narsampet Road on one side. Lanes are close together, so share the lane name and a pin. Where Telugu is spoken at home and exams are in English, English writing practice is a frequent need.

Deshaipet: a residential locality along Desaipet Road with its own post office, near Keerthi Nagar Colony and Enumamula. Intermediate commerce students here often want weekly accountancy practice. Give the street and the nearest junction on Desaipet Road.

Enumamula: on the eastern side, near Deshaipet and Gorrekunta, and known for its large agricultural trading yard. Where a parent's work starts early or changes with the trading season, a morning class or a late-evening slot when a parent is home can work well. Keep one fixed slot through the busy weeks.

Shiva Nagar & Fort Road

The southern side of the old city is central to Warangal, so tutors from many directions can reach it. Lanes branch off Fort Road, Hunter Road and Station Road in ways that can puzzle a first-time visitor, so a clear turning point helps.

Shiva Nagar: near Fort Road, Kareemabad, Puppalagutta and Hunter Road, with its own post office. Its central position gives families a good choice of nearby tutors. Middle-school maths foundations are a sensible place to begin.

Kareemabad: between Kazipet and the old city, with Shiva Nagar and Girmajipet nearby and family homes on inner lanes. Tutors from either side can come. Intermediate science students here often plan chemistry early, with short weekly tests.

Rangasaipet: also spelt Rangashaipet, a settled part of southern Warangal near Shambunipet, Girmajipet and Hunter Road, with its own post office. Both spellings work on the request form. Class 10 students often want timed revision before the SSC public examinations.

Shambunipet: also written Shambhunipet, in the southern part of the city close to Fort Road, Girmajipet and Shiva Nagar, with Warangal Fort nearby as the landmark. Physics numericals are a common request. Name the point on Fort Road where the tutor should turn.

Boards and subjects across the tri-city

Students in Warangal mostly follow the Telangana State Board or CBSE, with some on other boards. Two state bodies matter. The Directorate of Government Examinations, Telangana (bse.telangana.gov.in) conducts the Class 10 SSC public examinations, shows results as grades and holds an advanced supplementary examination in June. The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (tgbie.cgg.gov.in) runs the two-year Intermediate course for Classes 11 and 12, where first-year maths is split into papers IA and IB and second-year maths into IIA and IIB, alongside physics, chemistry, botany, zoology, commerce, accountancy and economics.

Junior college days can be long, so Intermediate students often do better with a narrow brief, such as one maths paper at a time or doubts from the week, than with a general "all subjects" hour.

Home, online or both

A tutor at the table suits younger children, notebook checking and written practice. An online class suits a specialist who lives in another part of the tri-city, or a late slot after junior college. An online tutor for Warangal students can join a home plan at any point, and families sometimes look as far as Hyderabad for an online specialist. For how the tutor's starting point shapes days and visits, read home tuition fees in Warangal; for the broader trade-offs, see home tutor or online tutor.

Frequently asked questions

Which parts of Warangal does this home tuition guide cover?

This guide covers twenty localities across the Warangal tri-city, grouped into five zones: Hanamkonda Centre, Gopalapuram and Hasanparthy, Kazipet and Madikonda, Kashibugga and Enumamula, and Shiva Nagar and Fort Road. Each locality links to its own page, with notes on directions, timing and the kind of help families there often ask for.

What landmark should we give a tutor coming to our home in the tri-city?

Give a tutor the nearest point that everyone in the tri-city knows, such as Kazipet Junction, Warangal railway station, a bus station, Fort Road or Narsampet Road. Then add the lane or colony, the house or quarter number and the gate to use. On the north-western side, a location pin saves a search.

Can a tutor from Hanamkonda teach a student in Kazipet or the old city?

Yes, a tutor from Hanamkonda can teach in Kazipet or the old city, and many arrangements cross the tri-city. When the trip is longer, plan fewer, longer visits with a clear job each, or move one weekday class online. Agree the pattern after the free demo, once you know the tutor suits your child.

Can we find a Telangana State Board tutor for SSC or Intermediate through NXTutors?

Yes, NXTutors can suggest Telangana State Board tutors for Class 10 SSC or Intermediate when you name the class, the subject and the papers, such as maths IA and IB. We start with tutors nearest your locality. If no suitable home tutor is close by, we add online tutors who know the state syllabus.

What if no home tutor lives near our locality in Warangal?

If no home tutor lives near your locality, NXTutors widens the search in steps: your zone, then the rest of the tri-city, then online tutors from across India. Families on the outer sides often keep one nearby home tutor for a core subject and add an online class for another. The first class with each tutor is a free demo.

How does NXTutors check the tutors it suggests in Warangal?

Tutors in Warangal who join NXTutors go through an ID check, and the Verified badge appears only after the ID check is complete. For each request you receive two or three matched tutors and see every tutor's fee before the demo. The first class with each tutor is free, and switching tutor later costs nothing.
