For a Warangal student in the biology group, the two Intermediate years carry four science subjects, a set of practical records and, for most families, NEET (UG) at the end. Many also keep TG EAPCET's Agriculture and Pharmacy stream open as a second route. That is a lot to hold in one week. A NEET tutor helps when the job is specific: biology recalled again and again until it sticks, physics problems worked line by line, and practice papers sat the way the real one is sat. This page sets out what the official bulletin says, how the Intermediate course fits around it, how tutors reach six localities, and what to ask in a trial class. The national NEET home tutor page has more on the exam.
NTA's information bulletin for 2026 sets out a single paper of 180 compulsory questions, answered in 180 minutes, with the syllabus notified by the National Medical Commission. All questions are multiple-choice with four options.
| Part | Questions | Marks |
|---|---|---|
| Physics | 45 | 180 |
| Chemistry | 45 | 180 |
| Biology (Botany and Zoology) | 90 | 360 |
| Total | 180 | 720 |
A correct answer earns four marks, a wrong one loses a mark, and an unanswered question scores nothing. The 2026 test was a single-day, single-shift paper in pen-and-paper mode. Half of the marks sit in biology, which is why biology work cannot be left to the final months. Patterns can change, so plan from the current bulletin on neet.nta.nic.in.
In Telangana, Classes 11 and 12 are the two years of Intermediate under the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education, and biology-group students study Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry. The board publishes syllabus files, academic plans and model papers for each of these on its website, tgbie.cgg.gov.in.
From 2026-27 the first year carries a 15-mark external practical in each of the four sciences. It lasts two hours, an examiner appointed by the board runs it, ordinarily in the first week of February, and the student must bring a record book certified by the lecturer. There is no improvement attempt for a practical, according to the board's FAQs. A tutor can help honestly here: explaining an experiment before the student does it, checking that observations and calculations make sense, rehearsing viva questions. Writing the record is the student's job. The board scheme in full is set out on the Telangana Board home tutor in Warangal page.
The 2026 TG EAPCET notification asks students with biology, physics and chemistry at Intermediate to apply in the Agriculture and Pharmacy (AP) stream, which leads to courses such as agriculture, horticulture, veterinary science, fisheries, pharmacy and some technology programmes. Its syllabus covers Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry and follows the board's Intermediate course. For a NEET student, the preparation largely overlaps. The main difference is format: EAPCET is computer-based over several sessions, NEET is on paper in one sitting. A tutor who knows this can plan a few weeks of on-screen practice before the state test without disturbing the NEET routine. The Hyderabad TG EAPCET tutor page describes the test further.
Frequent, short recall checks beat long lectures. The tutor asks, the student answers from memory, and every miss goes onto a list that returns the next week. Diagrams are drawn from memory, labelled and corrected. Botany and Zoology both need this, not just the chapters a student enjoys.
For many biology students this is the subject that lags. The tutor works through each problem type at the table, insisting on units and a sketch, until the student can choose the right idea without help. Steady weekly practice matters more than volume.
Physical chemistry is calculation and suits a home session. Organic needs reaction sequences practised in writing. Inorganic is recall and works well in quick online checks between home visits.
Our Warangal biology, physics and chemistry pages cover each subject on the board side, and the NEET physics tutor page goes deeper into physics for the entrance.
| Week | Main work with the tutor | Student's own work |
|---|---|---|
| First | New physics chapter at home; biology recall check online | Board notes for the same chapters |
| Second | Physics problem practice; chemistry numericals | Practical record kept up to date |
| Third | Biology diagrams and the recall list; organic sequences | Unit test preparation for college |
| Fourth | A timed section on paper, then review of every lost mark | Corrections written out in full |
In unit-test weeks and the practical season, the tutor should switch to board revision for that week instead of pushing new entrance chapters. Agree that rule at the start, so nobody feels the plan has slipped.
The 2026 bulletin offered NEET (UG) in thirteen mediums, Telugu among them, with the Telugu option listed for centres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The medium is chosen in the application form and cannot be changed afterwards. Many Warangal homes speak Telugu while children study in English medium, so the choice deserves a conversation. A student who learned science in Telugu may read questions faster in Telugu; a student whose college notes are all in English usually does better staying with English. Whatever you decide, ask for a tutor who teaches the technical terms in that language from the start, so the student is not translating in the exam hall.
More timing advice sits on three zone pages: Kazipet and Madikonda, Kashibugga and Enumamula, and Shiva Nagar and Fort Road; and the Warangal home tutors page lists every locality.
Because NEET is on paper, practice should be on paper too: a printed question set, an OMR-style sheet and a clock. Start with single-subject sections in the first year and build up to the full 180 questions in the second. After each paper, the review matters more than the score. Sort every lost mark into four groups: never learned, learned but forgotten, misread, and careless. Each needs a different fix, and a tutor who goes through that sorting with the student does more good than one who simply sets another paper.
Negative marking also changes strategy. A student should know, before the exam, how they will treat a question they can narrow to two options, and that decision should be practised, not left to the day. Our guide to an NCERT-first approach to NEET biology suits the recall work described above.
In the first Intermediate year, the aim is to learn each chapter once, properly, and keep the recall list growing. Physics habits formed now, such as drawing the situation and writing units, carry through to the end. In the second year, new chapters, revision of the first year, board papers, the practical record and full NEET papers all compete for time; ask the tutor to set out in June which months go to which. A student taking a further attempt should begin by reading their own previous paper question by question, then rebuild the weakest units first. Daytime sessions open up a wider choice of tutors, and a mix of home physics with online biology checks often fits that year well.
A demo that does not fit can be followed by another, and switching tutor later is free. More ideas are in the demo class checklist.

NEET UG 2026 had 180 compulsory questions for 720 marks, answered in 180 minutes on paper in a single shift. Physics and chemistry had 45 questions each and biology, split into botany and zoology, had 90. A right answer earned four marks and a wrong one cost a mark.
Yes, the NEET UG 2026 bulletin listed Telugu among thirteen mediums, offered at centres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The medium is picked in the application form and cannot be changed later. Choose the language your child reads science in fastest, and ask the tutor to teach technical terms in it.
Many biology-group students in Warangal keep the TG EAPCET Agriculture and Pharmacy stream as a second route, since its syllabus covers the same four Intermediate sciences. The 2026 notification placed biology, physics and chemistry students in that stream. EAPCET is computer-based, so a few weeks of on-screen practice before it helps.
A NEET tutor can help with practicals by explaining experiments, checking that readings and calculations make sense, and rehearsing viva questions. From 2026-27 each first-year science has a 15-mark external practical, and the record book must be the student's own work, certified by the lecturer. There is no improvement attempt for practicals.
Physics usually gains most from a home visit, because the tutor needs to watch each problem being set up and stop errors in units and sketches. Physical chemistry numericals come next. Biology recall checks and inorganic chemistry work well online between visits, which keeps the week lighter.
NEET tutors reach Bapuji Nagar from across Kazipet, Kashibugga from the older parts of Warangal, and Rangasaipet from the southern side near Fort Road and Hunter Road. Give the street, a landmark such as a bank or a junction, and a location pin. Kashibugga lanes are close, so name the lane too.
A Warangal NEET student should review a practice paper by sorting every lost mark into four groups: never learned, forgotten, misread and careless. Each needs a different fix. Practise on paper with an answer sheet and a clock, and decide in advance how to treat a question narrowed to two options.
