Tutors who join go through an ID check. Tell us the class, board and your area: we share two or three matched tutors, each with their fee, and the first class is a free demo, at home or online.
Book a free demo classAcross NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

For a Nagpur student aiming at medicine, NEET tuition works well when it is built around two habits: reading and being tested on the NCERT biology text all year, and working through physics with a tutor who can see every line. Nagpur makes some of this easier than bigger cities do. Distances are shorter, two metro lines cross the centre, and plotted-layout homes rarely have long gate procedures. This page covers how families here set up NEET tuition: when to begin, which format suits which subject, how tutors reach each zone, what State Board and other-medium students should add, and how to test a tutor in the free demo. The national NEET home tutor page explains the exam and the NCERT-first method in full.
The NTA's 2026 information bulletin set out one afternoon sitting, 2 pm to 5 pm, written with pen on paper. There were 180 questions, every one compulsory: 90 in biology across botany and zoology, 45 in chemistry and 45 in physics. Each right answer earned four marks and each wrong one cost one, out of a maximum of 720, and biology was the first tie-breaker. The National Medical Commission notifies the syllabus, with ten biology units. Check every point in the latest bulletin at neet.nta.nic.in, since the rules are reissued each year.
| Work | Format | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Biology recall | Online, about 30 minutes, two or three times a week | Frequent checking matters more than length; no one travels |
| Physics | At home, 90 minutes, once or twice a week | The tutor needs to watch the working; worth the journey |
| Physical chemistry | At home | Numericals are written work |
| Inorganic and organic chemistry | Online quizzes | Recall and reaction practice suit short sessions |
| Mock review | At home or online at the weekend | Time to go through every wrong answer |
Many Nagpur families already combine one or two home lessons a week with a short online session; for NEET, the online part simply becomes the biology check. The NEET physics tutor and NEET chemistry tutor pages go into each subject.
A good physics tutor is the scarce one, so the question is whether they can reach you at your hour. Each zone has a page of local tutors, and the Nagpur tuition page lists every locality.
| Zone | Example | Travel note |
|---|---|---|
| Central West Nagpur | Shankar Nagar | Shankar Nagar Square is on the Aqua Line west of Sitabuldi; evening parking near markets is hard, so metro or two-wheeler is easier |
| Hingna Road and Ring Road | Pratap Nagar | Wide streets and easy parking, but the Ring Road fills with office traffic in the evening; start after it |
| Wardha Road | Khamla, Besa | Orange Line stations along the road; Jaiprakash Nagar is the usual link for Khamla, Ujjwal Nagar for Besa |
| North Nagpur | Sadar | Kasturchand Park station serves the southern edge; Mount Road crowds make parking hard, so ask the tutor to come a little early |
| East and South-East Nagpur | Manewada | No metro; a tutor living in the south-east or riding a two-wheeler is the practical choice |
For plotted-layout houses, give the layout name, plot number and a map pin, because many layouts look alike from the main road. The Nagpur tuition guide has more local detail.
Suppose, for illustration, a Class 12 student in Pratap Nagar with coaching on four weekday evenings, strong in biology but losing marks in physics and inorganic chemistry. A plan that suits the subjects and the Ring Road:
| When | What |
|---|---|
| Monday and Wednesday, after coaching | Online, 30 minutes: inorganic chemistry recall from the NCERT text |
| Friday, after school, at home | Physics, 90 minutes: stuck coaching questions, one concept rebuilt, timed MCQs |
| Saturday, 2 pm to 5 pm | A full mock on paper, at the exam's own hours |
| Sunday morning, online | Mock review, every wrong and blank answer sorted by cause |
The physics tutor makes one trip a week, at an hour when the Ring Road is clear, and biology stays with coaching and the student's own NCERT reading unless the mocks show it slipping. A student whose weak subject is biology would flip the plan: two or three online recall checks and a fortnightly home session for physics.
Most Nagpur students study under either the Maharashtra State Board or a national board, and state-board students may be taught in English or another medium. For NEET, three points follow.
CBSE students begin closest to the NCERT text; ICSE and ISC students should read NCERT biology alongside school books. For board-side help, see our biology, physics and chemistry home tutor pages for Nagpur.
Class 11 is about habits: NCERT biology read line by line from the first chapter, short recall checks every week, and physics foundations such as motion and laws built properly before the pace rises. Class 12 carries three loads: new chapters, revision passes over all ten biology units, and the board papers, which in Nagpur fall in the January to March stretch. The tutor schedules full mocks from winter and returns to board-style answers in the weeks before the board. A repeat year starts with last year's answer sheet and mock record, sorted by cause of error; daytime home sessions are easy to arrange because the evening peaks are avoided. Our NEET biology from NCERT guide and the guide to important NEET chemistry chapters support each stage.
Because the exam is on paper in the afternoon, sit full mocks the same way: a weekend afternoon from 2 pm to 5 pm, a printed paper, a separate answer grid, the phone in another room and no breaks. Score plus four and minus one, note blanks and time per subject, and share a scan with the tutor. The review, at home or online, then sorts every lost mark by cause: not learnt, forgotten, misread or rushed. Over a few weeks that record shows which subject deserves the next month's home sessions.
For the home sessions themselves, a table in a shared room, an adult at home, NCERT books and the coaching module within reach, and a timer for MCQ sets are all that is needed. In Seminary Hills colonies, ask the tutor to carry identification for the gate; in a plotted-layout house, a clear lane and plot number does the job.
For apartments and government colonies, give the gate the tutor's name in advance. Our demo class checklist lists more. You get two or three matched tutors; if the first is not right, we set up the next, and switching later is free.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fees, shown before the demo; online biology checks keep a mixed plan's cost down. See the Nagpur fees guide and the pricing guide.

To start NEET tuition in Nagpur, send the class, board and medium, the subjects needing help, coaching days, your locality and the road it is off, and times that work. You get two or three matched tutors, each fee shown before the first class. The first class is a free demo, and switching tutor later is free.
A Nagpur State Board student can start NEET tuition in the summer weeks before schools reopen in June. Use them to settle the stream, read the first NCERT biology chapters and meet a physics tutor. CBSE and ICSE students can begin with their April session. Otherwise start in the first term of Class 11, or in Class 12 after the first mocks.
A Nagpur NEET physics tutor comes home, as do physical chemistry sessions, where the tutor watches the working, typically 90 minutes once or twice a week for physics. Biology recall suits online sessions of about 30 minutes two or three times a week. Inorganic and organic chemistry fit short online quizzes, and mock review can go either way at the weekend.
A Nagpur HSC biology student must add NCERT wording and diagrams for NEET, since the exam follows the NMC syllabus and tracks NCERT closely. A tutor should compare each NCERT chapter with the state textbook and teach the additions. Board answers and practicals continue as normal alongside.
A Nagpur student can check the current bulletin for language options; the 2026 NEET bulletin offered booklets in English, Hindi, or English with one of several regional languages. Learning the English biology terms early helps in any case, since most practice material uses them. The bulletin also required Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology, and English at Class 12.
NEET home tutors reach all five Nagpur zones: Central West, Hingna Road and Ring Road, Wardha Road, North Nagpur, and East and South-East Nagpur. Along the Orange and Aqua Lines tutors can come from further away. In Manewada, which has no metro, we look first at tutors living in the south-east or riding a two-wheeler.
A NEET week for an illustrative Pratap Nagar Class 12 student with coaching Monday to Thursday could hold four slots. Inorganic recall goes online for 30 minutes on Monday and Wednesday, and physics at home for 90 minutes on Friday. Saturday brings a 2 pm to 5 pm paper mock and Sunday an online review.
A Nagpur NEET mock should start at 2 pm on a printed paper because the 2026 exam ran on pen and paper from 2 pm to 5 pm. Use a separate answer grid, keep the phone in another room and take no breaks. Score plus four and minus one, note blanks and time per subject, then sort every lost mark by cause with the tutor.
Class 12 NEET tuition in Nagpur should balance new chapters, revision passes over all ten biology units and the board papers, which fall in the January to March stretch. The tutor schedules full mocks from winter and returns to board-style answers in the weeks before the board. A repeat year starts with last year's answer sheet.
Nagpur parents can test a NEET tutor by asking for a biology recall check on a finished chapter, with an NCERT diagram to label. Give a physics question the student got wrong and watch whether the student attempts it first. Ask how the tutor would close the board-to-NCERT gap, and agree slot, route and an online fallback.
