JEE and NEET tutor jobs in Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula

Coaching sets the pace for most entrance aspirants in the tricity; a tutor's job is to make sure the student is still running alongside it. That means sitting with the problems the student could not solve during the week, reading the mock-test sheet line by line, and keeping Class 11 and 12 school work from slipping while the entrance syllabus takes up the afternoons.

Open tuition requests in Chandigarh for jee and neet

No open jee and neet requests in Chandigarh right now. New family requests appear here as they come in; join now so they can reach you.

Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula offer that kind of work for physics, chemistry, maths and biology tutors with entrance-level depth. This page covers how the demand is shaped, how evening coaching hours meet the Margs, what families expect, and how to prove yourself in one free demo. Open requests are in the live list below.

Who asks for jee and neet tutors in Chandigarh

NTA holds JEE Main in two sessions in the first half of the year, and qualifying students may go on to JEE Advanced, whose information is on jeeadv.ac.in. NEET UG is held once a year, and biology carries half its marks. Families almost never ask for all subjects at once; they name the one dragging the total down. Physics and maths dominate JEE requests, biology and chemistry NEET requests. Take every date and pattern detail from the official bulletin for that year.

Students come from CBSE, ISC and the two state boards, the Punjab School Education Board on the Mohali side and the Board of School Education Haryana in Panchkula. The NCERT content of Classes 11 and 12 underlies the entrance tests, so for state board and ISC students part of the tutor's work is mapping their syllabus onto the NCERT chapters, and filling the gaps where the two differ.

Three requests recur: clear the unsolved problems from this week's coaching sheet; analyse why the last mock went wrong; and build a plan so that board preparation and entrance preparation share the same revision. Students taking a drop year also ask for structured weekly support.

The calendar decides the intensity. In the April to June window, when the CBSE session has just started and coaching batches are forming, families look for a tutor to keep Class 11 under control. From October the school syllabus has to be finished and pre-board exams arrive in many schools around the new year, so entrance students ask for more hours just when coaching tests also pile up. A tutor who plans those overlapping months with the family is worth a great deal.

Where in Chandigarh the work is

Coaching in the afternoon means entrance tutoring happens late, often after seven, and the tricity's main problem, the return rush between the three towns on Madhya Marg, Dakshin Marg and through Housing Board Chowk, is worst just before that. A tutor in Chandigarh Sectors 31–56 & Manimajra can reach most southern sectors without crossing those roads; one in Chandigarh Sectors 1–30 is well placed for the first-phase grid around Sector 17.

In Mohali, Phase 7 touches Chandigarh's southern edge, and match days at the Phase 9 stadiums slow the roads around Phase 10. In Panchkula & Zirakpur, Peer Muchalla in Zirakpur lies next to Panchkula Sectors 20 and 21, so one tutor can serve both. When coaching ends late, an online doubt session at home beats a night drive, and many families settle on weekend home sessions with weekday sessions on screen.

What families in Chandigarh expect

  • Entrance-level command of your subject, solving coaching problems live and explaining them clearly.
  • A weekly error log built from the student's tests, with repeat questions on each weak area.
  • For NEET, close knowledge of the NCERT Biology and Chemistry books.
  • For ISC and state board students, a map from their syllabus to the NCERT chapters the tests draw on.
  • Timed practice that grows longer as the exam approaches.
  • Switching between home and online sessions without losing continuity.
  • Plain, honest progress updates, with no promises about ranks.

How to get picked

On your profile, state the subject and the level: 'JEE physics up to Advanced', 'NEET biology from NCERT', and the boards you also teach. Describe your weekly method in one sentence and give your late-evening and weekend availability. Name the sectors or phases you visit and switch on online lessons; for entrance students, online is often half the arrangement.

Ask the student to bring their last coaching test to the demo. Choose two wrong answers and let the student find the error with hints from you, rather than solving it for them. Then show the parent how you would log mistakes week by week. Tricity families comparing two or three entrance tutors usually choose the one who engaged most closely with the coaching material in that first hour.

Over the months, keep a one-page record for the family: topics secure, topics shaky, recent test scores and the plan for the next fortnight. Entrance preparation is long, and parents who can see steady, specific progress are far more likely to keep the same tutor through to the exam than those who only hear that things are going well.

Joining, leads and pay

Joining is free

Applying, onboarding, building your profile, the ID check and receiving matched requests on the Free plan cost nothing. The Free plan gives you 160 lead credits every month.

Paid plans are optional

Pro, Premium and Featured are optional platform subscriptions: more visibility, AI tools and more lead credits. They are never a fee to apply for a tuition. See tutor plans.

How leads and credits work

A family request that fits your subjects, classes, board, areas and hours reaches your dashboard. Opening the family's contact details uses lead credits, and the credit price is shown on the request before you open it. At most 5 tutors can open one request, and a request stays open for 7 days. Credit packs are there if you need more.

How you get paid

You set your own fee. When a family pays for classes through NXTutors, you receive 50% of the fee for home tuition in the first month and the full fee after that, and 70% of the fee for online tuition every month. Payments are held for 7 days, then paid out weekly. How you get paid.

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.

Questions from tutors

Why would a coached student need a home tutor?

Coaching covers the syllabus at a fixed pace for a large batch. A tutor works one to one on what the student could not keep up with, and keeps board preparation moving. That support role is what most tricity requests describe.

Do Punjab or Haryana board students take JEE and NEET?

Yes. Students from all boards sit the entrance tests. Helping a state board student map their syllabus to the NCERT content the tests draw on is valuable work.

Where are official exam details published?

NTA's information bulletins for JEE Main and NEET UG, and jeeadv.ac.in for JEE Advanced. Never quote a date before it is officially announced.

Can I teach entrance students entirely online?

Yes. Many families, especially in Aerocity or outer Zirakpur, are happy with online sessions for entrance work. Switch on online lessons to be matched with them.

How late do entrance sessions run?

Often after coaching, into the evening. You set your own hours, and you can keep late sessions online to avoid night travel across the tricity.

What does it cost an entrance tutor to join?

Nothing. Joining is free, with monthly lead credits on the Free plan; paid plans are optional. Families see your own fee before the free demo.
