Now taking on home, online and hybrid tutors · in Jaipur
Jaipur is a coaching city in its own right. Whole stretches, Gopalpura Bypass among them, fill with students heading to classes, and that changes what a home tutor is for. Most JEE and NEET families here do not want a tutor to replace coaching; they want one who works beside it, clearing the backlog, protecting board marks and lifting the weakest subject. If that is the kind of entrance teaching you do, Jaipur has a clear place for you.
No open jee and neet requests in Jaipur right now. New family requests appear here as they come in; join now so they can reach you.
On NXTutors, entrance work arrives as a request: class, board, target exam, subject, colony and free hours. We suggest two or three tutors whose profiles fit, the family sees your fee, and the first lesson is a free demo. You decide which subjects and exams you take, your travel zones, online or home, and your fee.
Three jobs come up again and again. First, clearing the pile: coaching moves at the batch's pace, and a weekly session on unsolved sheets and test mistakes stops the backlog growing. Second, holding the board marks: Class 12 NCERT content sits under both the board papers and the entrance tests, so one plan built on it protects both, and board percentages still matter. Third, rescuing the weak subject: extra hours on the subject that drags the total down usually do more than an even spread across three.
Exam facts must come from official sources. NTA holds JEE Main in two sessions in the first half of the year, and candidates who qualify can sit JEE Advanced, whose information is on jeeadv.ac.in. NEET UG is held once a year and biology makes up half its marks, which is why the NCERT biology books repay close reading. Take dates and patterns only from the current information bulletin, and never quote a date that has not been announced.
Students come from every board. CBSE and RBSE students share NCERT foundations in core subjects; ISC students carry a broader written syllabus; a few IB students sit JEE as well. For RBSE students, ask about the medium, since some studied in Hindi and need entrance concepts explained in both languages before the English question paper feels natural. Class 11 students who start early are often the easiest to help, because the backlog has not yet grown.
The calendar sets the rhythm of this work. From April to June a new Class 11 or 12 student has time to build foundations; by October to December schools finish the syllabus and pre-boards arrive; January to March brings board exams with the first JEE Main session in the same stretch; and April to May holds the second JEE Main session, JEE Advanced and NEET UG. A tutor who plans around that sequence, and checks each date against the official notice, is far more useful than one who only solves problems.
Entrance students' free hours are set by coaching, so your map is really a clock. Around Gopalpura Bypass and across Mansarovar & Sanganer, lessons tend to fall late in the evening or at weekends, when the road is quieter. The Pink Line from Mansarovar through New Aatish Market and Vivek Vihar to Civil Lines lets a tutor reach the western half of the city at hours when the roads are slow.
In Vaishali Nagar & West Jaipur, Vaishali Nagar's gated communities register visitors and Ajmer Road is heavy in the evening. In Malviya Nagar, Jagatpura & Tonk Road there is no metro yet and crossing Tonk Road at peak hours is slow, so pick a side. C-Scheme, Bani Park & Vidhyadhar Nagar and Raja Park, Jawahar Nagar & Bapu Nagar are central and compact. When coaching runs late, an online doubt session can take the place of a home visit for that week.
On your profile, name the exam and level: 'JEE Main and Advanced Physics' or 'NEET Chemistry, NCERT-based'. List the boards too, since families want board marks protected. Mention if you can work from coaching material, and mark your late-evening and weekend hours. Turn on online and add only the zones you can reach at those hours.
For the demo, ask the student to bring a recent test. Pick two wrong answers, find the real cause, whether a concept, a calculation or a misread question, and fix one completely. Show the parent an error-log page and a four-week plan that fits around the coaching schedule. Families who see that you will reduce the load, not add to it, are the ones who book.
Be honest about scope. A parent in Jaipur often hears many promises about ranks; a tutor who instead explains what the next eight weeks can change, such as a cleared backlog in mechanics or organic conversions that finally make sense, stands out. Never quote results, and keep the focus on the student's own test scores improving over time.
Applying, onboarding, building your profile, the ID check and receiving matched requests on the Free plan cost nothing. The Free plan gives you 160 lead credits every month.
Pro, Premium and Featured are optional platform subscriptions: more visibility, AI tools and more lead credits. They are never a fee to apply for a tuition. See tutor plans.
A family request that fits your subjects, classes, board, areas and hours reaches your dashboard. Opening the family's contact details uses lead credits, and the credit price is shown on the request before you open it. At most 5 tutors can open one request, and a request stays open for 7 days. Credit packs are there if you need more.
You set your own fee. When a family pays for classes through NXTutors, you receive 50% of the fee for home tuition in the first month and the full fee after that, and 70% of the fee for online tuition every month. Payments are held for 7 days, then paid out weekly. How you get paid.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
Usually alongside coaching, not instead. Clearing the backlog, protecting board marks and strengthening one subject are the common reasons.
Yes. Most entrance tutors specialise. Name the subject and level clearly, and say whether you also cover the board syllabus.
Late evenings after coaching and weekend mornings. Online doubt sessions help on heavy coaching days and during test weeks.
Only from NTA's current bulletins for JEE Main and NEET UG, and from jeeadv.ac.in for JEE Advanced. Do not quote dates from memory.
Yes. Ask the medium, as some need entrance concepts explained in Hindi as well as English before they work through English-language papers.
Many families mix both: a weekly home lesson for deeper work and an online doubt session on heavy coaching days. Add both modes to your profile if you can manage them, and list only the zones you can reach in the late evening.
