Now taking on home, online and hybrid tutors · in Jaipur
Commerce tuition in Jaipur is mostly a Class 11 and 12 affair, and it usually starts with accountancy. Our guide for Jaipur parents says so plainly: in these years, commerce students tend to struggle first with accountancy. Journal entries that do not balance, ledger postings that drift, partnership and company accounts that grow longer every chapter. A tutor who can keep the books straight, and teach economics and business studies alongside, is the one families look for.
No open commerce requests in Jaipur right now. New family requests appear here as they come in; join now so they can reach you.
NXTutors sends you requests rather than vacancies. A parent sends the class, board, medium, colony and free hours, and we suggest two or three tutors whose profiles fit; the family sees your fee before booking a free demo. You choose which commerce subjects you teach, which zones you travel to, whether you work online, and what you charge.
Accountancy carries the weight. In Class 11 students meet the accounting equation, journal, ledger, trial balance, bank reconciliation, depreciation and final accounts. Class 12 brings partnership accounts with admission, retirement and dissolution, company accounts with shares and debentures, and analysis of financial statements, including ratios and cash flow. Each chapter builds on the last, so a weak Class 11 foundation shows up in Class 12 partnership questions.
Economics splits into microeconomics and statistics in Class 11, and macroeconomics with Indian economic development in Class 12. Diagrams, definitions and numerical questions on national income or elasticity need practice. Business studies is theory-heavy, and CBSE uses case-based questions that test whether a student can apply principles of management, marketing or financial management to a situation. CBSE sample papers and marking schemes are on cbseacademic.nic.in, ISC commerce subjects are set out on cisce.org, and for state-board students the current syllabus and prospectus are on rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in.
Medium matters for state-board commerce students too. Accounting terms in Hindi-medium books have their own forms, and a tutor who can move between them helps the student follow both the textbook and the paper. Many commerce students in Jaipur also want maths support in the senior years, so if you teach that as well, list it.
Timing follows the school year. The calmest start is April to June, when new books arrive and the summer break leaves room to fix Class 11 gaps before Class 12 accounts begin. From October to December schools finish the syllabus and run pre-boards, so commerce families who start late usually want papers, presentation and speed rather than first teaching. Check every board date against official notices before you plan around it.
Commerce students tend to want regular, fixed slots, often two or three a week in the board year, so a route you can repeat without stress matters. The C-Scheme, Bani Park & Vidhyadhar Nagar zone has the business district at its centre, signed-in apartment buildings in C-Scheme and doorstep visits in Bani Park and Vidhyadhar Nagar; office-hour parking in C-Scheme is scarce, so evening or weekend slots suit a visiting tutor.
Raja Park, Jawahar Nagar & Bapu Nagar sits close to C-Scheme and rarely involves a gate desk. Further out, Vaishali Nagar & West Jaipur's Pink Line stations help in Shyam Nagar, Sodala and Nirman Nagar, and Mansarovar & Sanganer starts at the Mansarovar terminal. In Malviya Nagar, Jagatpura & Tonk Road, gated complexes register visitors, and Durgapura is an organised colony of houses and apartments. Online sessions work well for accountancy practice, with the student sharing worked sheets.
Your profile should read like a commerce teacher's: 'Accountancy and Economics, Classes 11 and 12, CBSE and the state board (Hindi and English medium); Business Studies on request.' Say whether you teach the full set or one subject. Families often compare tutors on how they handle accountancy, so a line on your method, such as format first and speed later, helps them choose.
For the demo, bring a partnership or ledger question near the student's current chapter. Let them attempt it, find where it went wrong, perhaps a missed adjustment or an entry on the wrong side, and fix it together. Then switch briefly to economics or business studies to show you can carry the rest. Finish with a timetable that leaves room for practice papers from winter, and check that your route still works in the exam months.
Mode can win you the request. A commerce student who sees you twice a week at home and once online for a timed accountancy sheet gets more practice without more travel, and families on the far side of Tonk Road or Ajmer Road find that mix easier to keep. Say on your profile that you offer it, and mark the online hours separately.

A family request that fits your subjects, classes, board, areas and hours reaches your dashboard. Opening the family's contact details uses lead credits, and the credit price is shown on the request before you open it. At most 5 tutors can open one request, and a request stays open for 7 days. Credit packs are there if you need more.
You set your own fee. When a family pays for classes through NXTutors, you receive 50% of the fee for home tuition in the first month and the full fee after that, and 70% of the fee for online tuition every month. Payments are held for 7 days, then paid out weekly. How you get paid.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
Accountancy, especially the Class 11 foundations and the Class 12 partnership and company accounts. Economics numericals and diagrams come next.
Yes. Say so on your profile. Some families want a specialist for one subject; others prefer one tutor for all three.
Some state-board students do. Families name the medium in the request, so list the medium you teach in.
Yes, especially for accountancy practice and economics revision, with the student sharing worked sheets. Many families mix a home lesson with an online session.
cbseacademic.nic.in for CBSE, cisce.org for ISC and rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in for the state board.
Families look for sound subject knowledge and clear teaching. A commerce or accounting background helps, but the profile, the demo and how you handle the student's current chapter decide most requests.
After school on weekdays and weekend mornings. In C-Scheme, office-hour parking is scarce, and Malviya Nagar and Raja Park market roads fill after dark, so earlier or weekend slots are easier there.
