What home tuition costs in Jaipur

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.

Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Economics tuition in Jaipur: what each board marks, and how a tutor gets to you

In Jaipur, as elsewhere, economics help tends to be wanted for one of three kinds of student. The Class 11 commerce or humanities student who did well in Class 10 and is now baffled by statistics. The Class 12 student whose long answers on the Indian economy run out of time. Or an IB or A Level student whose essays are fluent but never reach a judgement. NXTutors asks for the board, medium and class first, then your colony, and suggests two or three tutors with their fees shown. This NXTutors Academic Team page covers Jaipur's boards and travel; the subject in depth is on our national economics home tutor guide.

The first lesson should find the weak skill

Economics marks come from four places: exact definitions, labelled diagrams, numericals and evaluation. A student can be strong in three and still score poorly because of the fourth. In CBSE Class 12, for example, national income questions reward working that is set out line by line, while the 20 marks for current challenges in Indian Economic Development reward written argument. A tutor who spends the first session on one past paper, marking where each lost mark came from, saves weeks of general revision.

Here is the sort of numerical a Class 12 tutor drills. If the marginal propensity to consume is 0.8, the investment multiplier is 1 ÷ (1 − 0.8) = 5, so a rise in investment of ₹100 crore raises equilibrium income by ₹500 crore. Most students can do that sum. Fewer can say why: each round of spending becomes someone's income, and four-fifths of it is spent again. The marks for the explanation, and for drawing the saving and investment diagram that goes with it, are where a tutor makes the difference.

The CBSE project needs planning from the start of each session. It is one project a session of 3,500 to 4,000 words, marked for relevance (3), knowledge and research (6), presentation (3) and a viva (8). Tutors can help the student understand the economics behind a topic and practise the viva; the research and writing must be the student's own.

RBSE economics in Hindi or English medium

The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan runs senior secondary examinations for its schools. We keep our description general: the board publishes its own Class 11–12 economics syllabus, prescribes its own books and sets its own paper, and its scheme and dates belong on its official website. A tutor should follow your child's actual textbook and the board's recent papers.

Medium shapes the lesson. A Hindi-medium student needs definitions, diagram labels and long answers in the terms the textbook uses, and a tutor who teaches economics in English and translates at the end usually costs marks. If your child may later study in English, tell the tutor; key terms can be learnt in both languages without confusing the board answers.

Students aiming at central universities may also sit CUET (UG). The NTA's 2026 bulletin lists Economics / Business Economics (code 309) as a domain subject with 50 compulsory questions in 60 minutes on the NCERT Class 12 syllabus. Check the bulletin for your child's year before planning objective practice.

IB Economics and Cambridge A Level in Jaipur

Jaipur also has a smaller group of IB and Cambridge students. For them, the internal work and the essays matter as much as content. IB SL and HL students each build a portfolio of three commentaries on news extracts, worth 30% at SL and 20% at HL; tutors can coach the skill on practice articles but may not write any part of the portfolio. HL adds Paper 3, a policy paper that asks the student to recommend a policy from data. Cambridge A Level essays are unstructured, unlike the two-part AS questions, so planning has to be taught. Our IB tutors in Jaipur page covers wider IB help.

How economics tutors get around Jaipur

The Pink Line has run since June 2015. The Orange Line is planned and under construction, with the foundation stone for Metro Phase 2 laid on 4 July 2026, so until it opens, south and east Jaipur rely on roads and a few rail stations.

Five Jaipur zones: arrival and one scheduling note each
ZoneArrivalScheduling note
C-Scheme, Bani Park & Vidhyadhar NagarCivil Lines, Railway Station and Sindhi Camp stations in the south; scooter or auto further northWeekend mornings dodge office-hour parking in C-Scheme

Vaishali Nagar & West JaipurPink Line for Shyam Nagar, Sodala and Nirman Nagar; road for Vaishali Nagar and ChitrakootLeave slack for Ajmer Road and the 200 Feet Bypass
Mansarovar & SanganerPink Line from Mansarovar; Durgapura, Gandhinagar and Sanganer rail stationsGopalpura Bypass is busy all day; late evening or weekends are easier
Malviya Nagar, Jagatpura & Tonk RoadScooter or car; Durgapura and Getor Jagatpura stationsChoose a tutor on your side of Tonk Road

Six Jaipur colonies at a glance

  • Civil Lines: government bungalows, private homes and apartment buildings, with its own Pink Line station on the elevated Ajmer Road stretch.
  • Tilak Nagar: quiet streets near the Moti Doongri temple; newer apartment buildings register visitors, so send the tutor's name ahead.
  • Vaishali Nagar: gated communities beside houses and builder floors; register the tutor at the gate before the demo.
  • Shyam Nagar: Shyam Nagar and Vivek Vihar stations on New Sanganer Road make metro-riding tutors practical.
  • Gopalpura Bypass: colonies behind a road lined with coaching institutes; fit lessons around the student's coaching hours and the daytime crowd.
  • Durgapura: an organised colony of houses and flats near Tonk Road, with its own railway station.

Our south and west Jaipur tuition guide and central and north Jaipur guide describe these areas further.

Home, online, or both?

Economics moves online easily: diagrams on a shared whiteboard, a news article open on both screens, essays marked in a shared document. For IB, IGCSE and A Level, online widens the search to tutors across India, which helps because we cannot promise that a specialist lives in your colony. Home lessons are worth it for a Class 11 student rebuilding statistics, and for younger students who lose focus on a screen. One workable pattern is a weekend home lesson and one shorter online lesson midweek, so evening traffic on Tonk Road or Ajmer Road never cancels the week.

Signs of a good economics tutor in the demo

  • Precision. They correct loose definitions at once, kindly but firmly.
  • Student-drawn diagrams. Your child draws and labels every axis, curve and shift.
  • Clean numericals. Statistics or national income set out step by step, as the board marks it.
  • A push for judgement. Questions such as "which effect is stronger here, and for whom?"
  • The right course. For RBSE, the board's own book and medium; for IB, the commentary criteria and Paper 3.
  • A next step. A specific task and a way to check it.

Not convinced? We set up a demo with the next tutor on the shortlist, and a later switch is free. Tutors who join pass an ID check, and the Verified badge appears only after our team has reviewed the ID.

Fees, and how to request an economics tutor

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors decide their own rates, and every fee is visible before the demo. Read the Jaipur fees guide for what affects them.

Any Jaipur family can ask for an economics tutor: tell us the board, medium and class, the weakest skill, your colony and sector, free times, home or online, and a budget. You get two or three profiles and choose one for a free demo class. See tutors by colony on the Jaipur page; economics teachers can browse open requests on tuition jobs in Jaipur.

Economics Home Tutor in Jaipur: common questions

How much is an economics home tutor in Jaipur?

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Each economics tutor in Jaipur sets their own rate, and every fee is visible before the demo. The Jaipur fees guide explains what moves them.

What does CBSE Class 12 economics cover for Jaipur students?

For Jaipur students, CBSE Class 12 economics has two 40-mark halves: Introductory Macroeconomics and Indian Economic Development. Macroeconomics covers national income, money and banking, income and employment, the budget and the balance of payments, and current challenges carry 20 marks in the second half. A 20-mark project with a viva completes the year.

Can NXTutors find an economics tutor for an RBSE student in Jaipur?

Yes, NXTutors can find an economics tutor for an RBSE student in Jaipur once you share the class and medium. RBSE sets its own syllabus, books and paper, so we look for a tutor who works from the prescribed textbook and recent board papers, and writes definitions and diagram labels in the textbook's terms.

Are IB Economics tutors available for Jaipur students?

Jaipur families can request an IB Economics tutor, and we look for one who has taught SL or HL and knows the commentary portfolio and Paper 3. The portfolio has three commentaries, worth 30% at SL and 20% at HL, and tutors coach the skill but never write it. If nobody lives within reach, online lessons work well.

Why does my Jaipur child understand economics in class but score poorly?

A Jaipur child who understands economics but scores poorly is usually weak in one of four skills: exact definitions, labelled diagrams, step-by-step numericals or evaluation that reaches a judgement. A tutor marks one past paper in the first lesson to find which, then targets that skill each week.

Is online economics tuition as useful as home tuition in Jaipur?

For most senior students in Jaipur, online economics tuition is as useful as home tuition, with diagrams on a shared whiteboard and essays marked in a shared document. Home lessons still help a Class 11 student rebuilding statistics or a child who loses focus on screen. A weekend home lesson plus a midweek online one keeps traffic from cancelling the week.

Should a Jaipur student prepare separately for CUET Economics?

A Jaipur student mostly builds CUET Economics on board work rather than separately. The NTA's CUET (UG) 2026 bulletin lists Economics / Business Economics as a domain subject with 50 compulsory questions in 60 minutes on the NCERT Class 12 syllabus. Add timed objective practice once board chapters are secure, and confirm details in the current bulletin.

Should a Hindi-medium RBSE student in Jaipur learn economics terms in English too?

A Hindi-medium RBSE student in Jaipur should write definitions, diagram labels and long answers in the terms the Hindi textbook uses. A tutor who teaches in English and translates at the end usually costs marks. If your child may later study in English, key terms can be learnt in both languages without confusing board answers.

How is the CBSE economics project marked for Jaipur students?

For Jaipur students, the CBSE economics project is one 3,500 to 4,000-word project a session. It is marked for relevance (3), knowledge and research (6), presentation (3) and a viva (8). A tutor can explain the economics behind the topic and rehearse the viva, but the research and writing must be the student's own.

How do I get two or three economics tutors suggested in Jaipur?

To get two or three economics tutors suggested in Jaipur, send the board, medium and class, the weakest skill, your colony and sector, free times and home or online. Each tutor's fee is shown before the first class, the first class is a free demo, and a later switch of tutor is free.
