What home tuition costs in Jaipur

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.

Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Physics home tutor in Jaipur: a second pair of hands beside coaching, not a second lecture

Many Class 11 and 12 science students in Jaipur spend several evenings a week in a JEE or NEET coaching batch. The batch sets the pace; what it rarely has is time for one student's unsolved problems, one student's test mistakes, or the written style a board examiner wants. That is where a physics home tutor earns the fee. NXTutors shortlists two or three physics tutors who teach your child's target, can work with the coaching timetable rather than against it, and can reach your locality at the hour that is left. Fees are shown before you meet, and the first class is a free demo.

Which exam should set the physics priorities?

Coaching students often carry three targets at once: the board, an entrance test, and sometimes a second entrance test. The syllabus overlaps; the marking does not.

Senior physics targets for Jaipur students: what is known about each assessment, and where one-to-one help adds most
TargetAssessmentWhere a home tutor adds most
CBSE Class 12 Physics (042)70-mark theory paper of 33 questions, no calculator; 30 practical marksDerivations, labelled diagrams and full written steps
Rajasthan board, Senior SecondarySet by the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan; its site carries the schemeTeaching in the student's medium from the state textbook
ISC Class 12CISCE theory, practical and project workLonger, fully explained answers
JEE Main (2026 pattern)Computer-based, two sessions; physics 20 multiple-choice and 5 numerical-value questions, +4 and −1Clearing the coaching sheet backlog; accuracy under time
JEE AdvancedTwo papers on one day; in 2026 open only to the first 2,50,000 successful JEE Main candidatesMulti-concept problems taken slowly, then re-timed
NEET (UG) (2026 pattern)Pen and paper; 45 physics questions out of 180, +4 and −1Fewer careless attempts; NCERT concepts made exact

Entrance syllabi come from NTA, not the board, and can include topics the board has dropped, so read the current bulletin before trimming a chapter. NEET was offered in 13 languages in 2026, Hindi and English among them, which matters for students who learnt physics in Hindi. For topic priorities, see the JEE physics guide by topic and the high-yield NEET physics chapters.

If coaching already covers the syllabus, what is the home tutor for?

Paying for the same lecture twice is an easy mistake in senior physics. A tutor working beside coaching should do three things the batch cannot:

  1. Clear the backlog. Every coaching sheet leaves problems a student could not crack. The tutor takes those, one at a time, until the method is clear enough to repeat on a fresh problem without help.
  2. Review every test. Coaching tests arrive with a score and an answer key. The tutor goes through the paper with the student and sorts each lost mark by cause, which a batch of many students has no time to do.
  3. Keep the board style alive. Entrance practice rewards speed and a final answer; the board rewards a diagram, a stated law and working on every line. One board-length answer per session keeps both habits intact.

The tutor should follow the coaching sequence rather than a separate one, so ask your child to bring the current module to the first class. Our comparison of coaching, a tutor or both for JEE and the same comparison for NEET set out the trade-offs, and the JEE physics tutor and NEET physics tutor pages explain how we match for each.

How can a tutor's sessions fit a coaching week?

Every batch keeps different days, so treat this as a pattern to adapt, not a timetable:

One way to place two physics tutor sessions around a coaching week
Point in the weekWhat the tutor doesWhat the student brings
A day after a new coaching chapter startsRebuilds the chapter's two or three core ideas from a diagram; sets five graded problemsClass notes and the first page of the sheet
A day after the weekly coaching testSorts every lost mark by cause; re-solves the three most costly questionsThe marked test and the answer key
Weekend, once a fortnightOne timed board section, marked the way CBSE marks itNothing; the paper is set fresh
Heavy coaching weeksA shorter online check-in instead of a home visitThe one problem that blocked most

Two sessions a week is the usual rhythm for a Class 12 coaching student; a third tends to crowd out the self-study that coaching sheets need.

How should a tutor read a coaching mock test?

The score is the least useful number on the paper. A tutor should mark each wrong or skipped question with one of four causes and keep a running tally in a notebook:

  • Concept: the principle was unclear. Fix by reteaching from a diagram.
  • Maths: the physics was right but the algebra, a vector component or an integral went wrong.
  • Reading: a condition in the question was missed, such as "smooth", "at rest" or "in series".
  • Time: the question was left for later and never reached.

With negative marking of −1 in both JEE Main and NEET, a tally heavy in "reading" or careless guesses calls for fewer attempts, not more practice. After a month the pattern is usually plain, and the tutor can tell you which one of the four is costing most.

What is inside the CBSE Class 12 physics theory paper?

The 2026-27 sample paper keeps last year's design. Across fourteen NCERT chapters, electricity and magnetism, from electrostatics to alternating current, carries 33 of the 70 marks. Optics together with electromagnetic waves carries 18, dual nature, atoms and nuclei 12, and semiconductor electronics 7. Transistors and logic gates have left the syllabus, so older notes need pruning.

Section A has 16 one-mark questions, 12 multiple-choice and 4 assertion–reason. Section B has five two-mark questions, C seven of three marks, D two four-mark case studies and E three five-mark long answers. Recall earns only about 38% of the marks. Constants are printed on the paper and calculators are not allowed. Class 12 has one main board exam, and the 2027 date sheet is awaited on cbse.gov.in. Our Class 12 physics strategies post lists the derivations that keep returning, and the Class 12 physics tutor page plans the year.

Can a home tutor help with the 30 practical marks?

Yes, and coaching students often neglect them. Two experiments, one from each section, carry 7 marks apiece; the record 5; an activity 3; the investigatory project 3; and the viva 5. The record needs at least eight experiments, four per section, at least six activities, three per section, and the project report. At home a tutor can check that every record entry has its aim, diagram and observation table in order, and run a mock viva: why repeat a reading, what a graph's slope means, what changes if the wire is thicker.

Where you live in Jaipur: can a tutor keep a slot after coaching?

Physics sessions for coaching students start late, so the route matters. Six localities from all five zones show the range; see tutors in every area on our Jaipur page.

Late physics sessions in six Jaipur localities: homes, the nearest rail or metro link, and what to arrange
LocalityHomesRail or metro linkWhat to arrange
Gopalpura BypassHouses, builder floors and apartments behind a main road lined with coaching institutes, with a large student populationDurgapura and Gandhinagar railway stations; a Gopalpura stop is planned on the Orange LineThe road is packed into the early evening, so late-evening or weekend slots suit a visiting tutor
Shyam NagarApartments and independent houses around parksShyam Nagar and Vivek Vihar on the Pink Line, both on New Sanganer RoadTutors from Mansarovar or Civil Lines can come by metro; allow for the evening crowd on New Sanganer Road
SodalaBuilder floors, apartments and housesRam Nagar station on Hawa Sadak, with Civil Lines also closeBuilder floors mean a doorstep visit; leave margin for Ajmer Road traffic
Civil LinesLarge bungalows on wide avenues, private homes and apartment buildingsCivil Lines on the elevated Ajmer Road stretch of the Pink LineAddresses among big plots are hard to find, so send a landmark before the first class
Bapu NagarOlder bungalows, independent floors and newer apartmentsGandhinagar railway station on the Tonk Road sideInner roads are narrow and the junction is busy at peak hours; move the slot a little earlier or later
DurgapuraIndependent houses and apartments on well-laid roadsIts own railway station; a Durgapura stop is planned on the Orange LineTutors from Malviya Nagar and Pratap Nagar reach it easily; allow for Tonk Road at peak hours

On the nights coaching overruns, one online session with the same tutor keeps the week on track without anyone travelling late.

What about IB, ISC, IGCSE, and starting in Class 11?

The IB physics guide first assessed in May 2025 runs in five themes, A to E, without the old options or Paper 3. Two papers make up 80% and a scientific investigation 20%, which must be the student's own work; the IB suggests 150 teaching hours at SL and 240 at HL. The IB physics SL and HL guide has details. ISC physics expects more explanation per answer than a CBSE line, and IGCSE students moving into Class 11 usually need early work on vectors and graphs.

Class 11 is the cheapest time to start. Motion, Newton's laws, rotation and gravitation lean on vectors, graphs and rates of change, often before maths lessons reach them, and a coaching batch moving at full speed can leave those gaps open. The Class 11 physics tutor page covers that year, and the national physics home tutor page the wider picture.

What does a physics home tutor in Jaipur cost?

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors name their own rate, which follows the target, from the board paper to JEE Advanced, their experience at that level, the late trip to your locality and the sessions per week. An online hour with the same tutor may cost less. Every fee is shown before the demo.

How do you book a physics demo in Jaipur?

Tell us the class and board, the entrance target, the coaching days and the evenings that remain, and your locality with a landmark. We send two or three matched physics tutors with their fees, and you choose one for a free demo class. If the fit is wrong, we arrange another demo, and switching tutor later is free. Where no one suitable can travel at your hour, we suggest online or mixed sessions. NXTutors works from Sector 66, Gurugram, and teaches online across India. Physics Home Tutor in Jaipur: common questions

How much does a physics home tutor in Jaipur charge?

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Each tutor quotes their own rate, and you see every fee before the free demo.

My child attends JEE or NEET coaching. Does a physics home tutor still help?

Often, if the tutor does what the batch cannot: works through the sheet problems your child could not solve, reviews each coaching test to find why marks were lost, and keeps board-style written answers in practice. The tutor should follow the coaching sequence, not teach a parallel course.

How many physics sessions a week suit a coaching student?

Two is the usual rhythm for a Class 12 student in coaching: one soon after a new chapter starts, one after the weekly coaching test. A third session tends to eat into the self-study that coaching sheets need. In heavy weeks, a short online check-in can replace a home visit.

How is the CBSE Class 12 physics theory paper divided?

The 70 theory marks cover fourteen NCERT chapters. Electricity and magnetism carry 33, optics with electromagnetic waves 18, dual nature, atoms and nuclei 12, and semiconductor electronics 7. The paper has 33 questions in Sections A to E, and no calculator is allowed. Practical work adds 30 marks.

What do JEE Main and NEET ask of physics?

In 2026, JEE Main Paper 1 had 25 physics questions, 20 multiple-choice and 5 numerical-value, in a computer-based test held in two sessions. NEET (UG) had 45 physics questions out of 180 on pen and paper. Both gave four marks for a right answer and deducted one for a wrong one.

Can a physics tutor come late in the evening near the Gopalpura Bypass?

Yes, and late is often easier. The main road is lined with coaching institutes and stays packed into the early evening, so late-evening or weekend slots suit a visiting tutor. Houses and builder floors are doorstep visits, while apartment blocks may register the tutor at the gate.

Do you have physics tutors for Rajasthan board Class 12?

Yes. We match tutors for the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan at Senior Secondary level as well as CBSE, ISC and IB. Mention the medium, Hindi or English, so the tutor teaches from the state textbook in the same language. The board's official site carries its current scheme.

Is Class 11 too early to start physics tuition?

Usually it is the right time. Class 11 moves quickly through motion, Newton's laws, rotation and gravitation, all of which rely on vectors, graphs and rates of change. Fixing those tools early, while the coaching batch moves on, saves far more repair work in the board year.
