Now taking on home, online and hybrid tutors · on Golf Course Extension Road, Gurgaon
Golf Course Extension Road runs through Sectors 55 to 66, from Sectors 55, 56 and 57 at the northern end, past Sectors 58 to 62, on to Sectors 63, 65 and 66, with a band of HUDA plots in between. Most families live in large gated societies, many built in recent years, where visitor apps, guard calls and a long walk from the gate to the tower are part of every arrival. NXTutors has its own office in Sector 66, on this road, so it is the zone we know most closely.
No open home-tuition requests on Golf Course Extension Road right now. New family requests appear here as they come in; add Golf Course Extension Road to your travel areas so they can reach you.
For a tutor, the attraction is concentration: a single society can hold many families with school-age children, across CBSE, IB and IGCSE, and a tutor who already teaches in one tower is often asked by neighbours. The limits are the gate routine and, in some societies, a cut-off hour after which visitors are not let in, which quietly decides the latest home slot you can offer.
Tutors living on the Extension Road itself or in the Sohna Road sectors reach most societies comfortably. Tutors from further away, especially specialists, tend to come for weekend home sessions and teach online in between, which families here accept readily for subjects such as IB Higher Level maths or IGCSE Additional Maths.
Inside the larger societies, the walk from the gate to the right tower can take ten minutes. Build that into your start time, and ask the family which gate is nearest their tower and where visitors park. A tutor who arrives on time at the door, not at the gate, is the one families keep.
Families ask for CBSE, IB and IGCSE across all classes. Neutrally, families near Sector 57 live close to Scottish High International School, which follows the IB, Cambridge IGCSE and CISCE, and those near Sector 62 to Heritage Xperiential Learning School, which follows CBSE; NXTutors has no link with either school. The specialist requests, such as IB Maths at Higher Level or IGCSE Additional Maths, are where a tutor from further away earns the trip.
Parents here often ask for a short written plan after the demo: the topics to cover, how often to meet and how progress will be checked. Tutors who send one stand out.
Because so many families share a society, word travels. A tutor who is punctual, prepared and clear with the parent in one tower is often asked by a neighbour within weeks, which turns a single trip into two or three students on the same evening.
Ask the family to approve you on the society app the day before the first class and to tell you the nearest gate. After the demo, ask the management to note you as a frequent visitor so later classes start without a wait. Some societies close visitor entry after a set evening hour; ask the family for the exact time and finish comfortably before it.
Tutors who join NXTutors go through an ID check: a one-time code and a government photo ID reviewed by the team. It is an identity check, not a police check, and families are asked to have a parent at home for the free demo.
Children here often travel some way to school, so the bus can drop them home later than in older parts of the city. Give them a break before class rather than starting the moment they walk in. Weekend mornings tend to have more free tutors than weekday evenings, and are a good time for longer specialist sessions. Anything later than the visitor cut-off, such as a doubt session before a test, can move online with the same student.
Applying, onboarding, building your profile, the ID check and receiving matched requests on the Free plan cost nothing. The Free plan gives you 160 lead credits every month.

A family request that fits your subjects, classes, board, areas and hours reaches your dashboard. Opening the family's contact details uses lead credits, and the credit price is shown on the request before you open it. At most 5 tutors can open one request, and a request stays open for 7 days. Credit packs are there if you need more.
You set your own fee. When a family pays for classes through NXTutors, you receive 50% of the fee for home tuition in the first month and the full fee after that, and 70% of the fee for online tuition every month. Payments are held for 7 days, then paid out weekly. How you get paid.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
Sectors 55 to 66, including 55, 56, 57, 58, 60, 61, 62, 63, 65 and 66, and the HUDA plots between the societies. North of Sector 55 is the Golf Course Road zone, and Sectors 73 to 80 form the Southern Peripheral Road zone.
Plan your slot to end before the cut-off. Ask the family for the exact time, and move any later session online.
The guard call, the ID check at the gate and the walk to the tower all take time on a first visit. Ask to be approved on the app the day before and to be noted as a frequent visitor afterwards.
