JEE and NEET tutor jobs in Gurugram

Most Gurugram students preparing for JEE or NEET already sit in a coaching batch. What their parents ask NXTutors for is something the batch cannot give: one person who sits with the student each week, goes through the coaching sheets and test papers, finds the chapters that keep costing marks and fixes them. For a tutor with real depth in physics, chemistry, maths or biology, that is focused, well-defined work, and families value it highly.

Who asks for jee and neet tutors in Gurgaon

JEE Main is conducted by NTA in two sessions in the first part of the year, and candidates who qualify can sit JEE Advanced. NEET UG, also conducted by NTA, is held once a year, and biology carries half of its marks. Families plan around those exams, but they almost always ask for one subject at a time: JEE physics, JEE maths, NEET biology, chemistry for either. Very few want one tutor for everything, and that suits specialists.

Requests start as early as Class 9, when some families on Sohna Road want foundation work in maths and science alongside the board syllabus, and peak in Classes 11 and 12. The common jobs are weekly doubt clearing from coaching material, analysis of mock tests, rebuilding a weak chapter, and keeping the board syllabus on track so school marks do not slip. Some droppers also ask for focused one-to-one help in their weakest subject.

Parents in Central Gurugram often want a separate specialist for each subject, and with tutors from across the city able to reach the central sectors, that is realistic. In New Gurugram and on the Southern Peripheral Road, families more often settle on one home session a week plus online sessions, so a student coming home late from coaching can still clear doubts on the same evening.

Where in Gurgaon the work is

The Sohna Road sectors, 47 to 51 and 67 to 72 with South City 2 and Badshahpur, have many board-year students preparing for JEE or NEET alongside coaching. Remember that the road is slow at school and office hours, and families there often prefer a tutor on their own side of it. Central Gurugram, between NH-48 and Sohna Road, can be reached from most of the city.

Old Gurugram has long-settled families with board-year students in plotted homes, where short trips make two or three weekly visits practical. Golf Course Extension Road, close to our Sector 66 office, and the newer belts further out suit tutors who combine weekend home sessions with weekday online doubt classes, which fits a coaching student's timetable.

What families in Gurgaon expect

  • Real depth in one subject at entrance level, not a general overview of all three.
  • Willingness to work from the student's coaching sheets and tests rather than a parallel course.
  • Mock test analysis: which questions were wrong, why, and what to practise next.
  • For NEET, close work on NCERT, especially in biology and chemistry.
  • Keeping the board syllabus on track alongside the entrance syllabus.
  • Online doubt sessions that fit after a late coaching day, with a writing tablet or camera on the notebook.
  • Calm, honest feedback to the parent without promising ranks or results.

How to get picked

Ask the family to send the student's latest coaching test before the demo. Go through two or three wrong answers, find the shared weak idea, teach it and set a fresh problem. Parents of entrance students judge a tutor on whether the hour moved the student forward; a clear diagnosis does that.

On your profile, name the exam and subject together: 'JEE Main and Advanced Physics', 'NEET Biology, NCERT-based', 'JEE Maths, Class 11–12 CBSE'. Say whether you teach online for evening doubt sessions, and list the Gurugram zones you can reach. Never promise ranks or selections. Families see your fee before booking; see how you get paid further down this page.

Entrance families stay with a tutor who brings structure to a crowded week. Agree one fixed slot that fits around coaching, keep a running list of weak chapters and tick them off as they are fixed, and share mock-test trends with the parent every few weeks. Before the exam months, shift towards timed practice and error review. If coaching timings change mid-year, offer an online session rather than letting the week lapse.

Joining, leads and pay

Joining is free

Applying, onboarding, building your profile, the ID check and receiving matched requests on the Free plan cost nothing. The Free plan gives you 160 lead credits every month.

Paid plans are optional

Pro, Premium and Featured are optional platform subscriptions: more visibility, AI tools and more lead credits. They are never a fee to apply for a tuition. See tutor plans.

How leads and credits work

A family request that fits your subjects, classes, board, areas and hours reaches your dashboard. Opening the family's contact details uses lead credits, and the credit price is shown on the request before you open it. At most 5 tutors can open one request, and a request stays open for 7 days. Credit packs are there if you need more.

How you get paid

You set your own fee. When a family pays for classes through NXTutors, you receive 50% of the fee for home tuition in the first month and the full fee after that, and 70% of the fee for online tuition every month. Payments are held for 7 days, then paid out weekly. How you get paid.

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.

Questions from tutors

Do Gurugram families want a JEE or NEET tutor instead of coaching?

Mostly alongside it. The usual request is weekly doubt clearing, test analysis and rebuilding weak chapters from the coaching material, with the board syllabus kept on track too.

Should I list all three subjects for JEE?

Only if you teach all three at entrance level. Families here usually want a specialist per subject, so 'JEE Physics' alone is a strong listing.

When do JEE and NEET requests start?

Some families ask for foundation work from Class 9, but most requests come in Classes 11 and 12 and from droppers. Demand rises in the months before the exams, so check dates on NTA's own notices before planning revision.

Can I take entrance students online?

Yes. Online doubt sessions suit students who return late from coaching, and families in New Gurugram and on the Southern Peripheral Road often prefer a hybrid plan. Use a writing tablet or a camera on the notebook.

Which zones have the most entrance students?

The Sohna Road sectors and Central Gurugram see many board-year students preparing for JEE or NEET, and Old Gurugram has long-settled families with senior students. The newer belts suit hybrid teaching.

What should I never promise an entrance family?

Ranks, selections, percentiles or a medical or engineering seat. Families respect a tutor who explains what they will work on, how progress will be measured and how the student's mock scores are moving. Honest, specific feedback keeps a family longer than any promise.

Is joining free for JEE and NEET tutors?

Yes. Joining and onboarding are free, with monthly lead credits on the Free plan. Paid plans are optional and never required to apply.
