Now taking on home, online and hybrid tutors · on Golf Course Road, Gurgaon
Golf Course Road is two teaching worlds side by side. The DLF phases, from Phase 1 to Phase 5, with Sushant Lok 1 and Wazirabad close by, are mostly independent floors on quiet residential lanes. The road itself, across Sectors 42, 43, 53 and 54, with Sectors 27, 28 and 52 also in the zone, is lined with gated high-rise towers. A tutor working here learns two routines: in a floor, a parking plan and a clear house number; in a tower, a visitor entry set up before you arrive.
No open home-tuition requests on Golf Course Road right now. New family requests appear here as they come in; add Golf Course Road to your travel areas so they can reach you.
For a tutor, what sets this zone apart is how specific the requests are. A parent is as likely to ask for IB Maths Analysis and Approaches at Higher Level, or IGCSE Chemistry structured questions, as for general Class 8 maths. If you teach an international course well, or board-year CBSE and ICSE maths and science, this is one of the zones where subject fit matters more than anything else.
| Month | What the family asked for |

Office traffic along Golf Course Road and around the Rapid Metro is the real constraint. It builds from early evening, and school buses come back through the afternoon, so the practical windows are a class soon after the school bus drop or one that starts once the evening office rush has eased. Starting before about 5 pm or after about 7.30 pm avoids the worst of it.
Tutors who live in the DLF phases, Sushant Lok 1 or the sectors around the road can usually arrive in a short drive. The Rapid Metro serves Golf Course Road, which helps a tutor coming by train. Tutors from further out tend to prefer early-evening or weekend slots, or a mix of home and online classes on weekdays. In the DLF lanes, a two-wheeler often makes parking easier than a car.
Families here have children in IB, IGCSE and CBSE schools across the city, and CBSE and ICSE families add board-year maths and science to the mix. As a neutral illustration, families near DLF Phase 5 and Sector 53 live close to Lancers International School, which follows the IB and Cambridge IGCSE, and the zone also includes Shiv Nadar School in DLF City Phase 1 (CBSE, IB and Cambridge IGCSE), Suncity School in Sector 54 (CBSE) and The Shri Ram School in DLF City Phase 3 (CISCE, Cambridge IGCSE and IB). NXTutors has no link with any school; the point is the mix of boards you may be asked about.
Requests often name a single component, such as IB Maths AA at Higher Level or planning an IB Physics internal assessment. Parents ask which papers and command terms a tutor has taught recently, not just the subject. Where no nearby tutor fits a narrow paper, families accept an online specialist or a weekend home class with online sessions between.
In the towers, ask the family to register you on the society's visitor app or with the gate once, ideally as a regular visitor, so the first class does not start late at the entrance. Parking inside is usually simple once you are approved. In a DLF floor you walk straight to the door, but the lane may be narrow; ask where to leave a scooter or car and confirm the exact floor and house number before the demo.
Tutors who join NXTutors go through an ID check with a one-time code and a government photo ID reviewed by the team. It is an identity check, not a police check, and families are asked to have a parent at home for the free demo.
Plan around the school bus and the office rush. Many children here reach home in the afternoon, and roads near the Rapid Metro and Golf Course Road fill from early evening. A 4 pm class right after the bus, or a 7.45 pm class once traffic eases, is far easier to keep week after week than a 6 pm slot. Weekends are the natural time for longer IB or IGCSE sessions, with shorter online classes during the week.
Applying, onboarding, building your profile, the ID check and receiving matched requests on the Free plan cost nothing. The Free plan gives you 160 lead credits every month.
Pro, Premium and Featured are optional platform subscriptions: more visibility, AI tools and more lead credits. They are never a fee to apply for a tuition. See tutor plans.
A family request that fits your subjects, classes, board, areas and hours reaches your dashboard. Opening the family's contact details uses lead credits, and the credit price is shown on the request before you open it. At most 5 tutors can open one request, and a request stays open for 7 days. Credit packs are there if you need more.
You set your own fee. When a family pays for classes through NXTutors, you receive 50% of the fee for home tuition in the first month and the full fee after that, and 70% of the fee for online tuition every month. Payments are held for 7 days, then paid out weekly. How you get paid.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
DLF Phases 1 to 5, Sushant Lok 1 and Wazirabad, and Sectors 27, 28, 42, 43, 52, 53 and 54 along and near Golf Course Road. Sector 55 onwards is Golf Course Extension Road, and Sectors 24 to 29 towards Cyber City fall partly in the MG Road and Cyber City zone.
Each has one hurdle. In a floor you go straight to the door but may struggle to park in a narrow lane, so a two-wheeler often suits. In a tower, parking is simple once inside, but you must be approved at the gate first, ideally as a regular visitor.
No. CBSE and ICSE board-year maths and science are asked for too. But if you teach an international course, list the exact component and level, because requests here are unusually specific.
Slots soon after the school bus drop or after the evening office rush. A class that starts before about 5 pm or after about 7.30 pm avoids the worst traffic.
