Now taking on home, online and hybrid tutors · in New Gurugram, Gurgaon
New Gurugram covers Sectors 81 to 95 off NH-48, including Sectors 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 88, 89, 90, 92 and 93, and is made up largely of newer gated societies spread across a wide area. Drives between one society and the next are longer than anywhere in the older city, and in several sectors finished towers stand beside plots still under construction. Families here come from many cities and school systems, so a single society can hold CBSE, ICSE, IB and IGCSE students of every age.
No open home-tuition requests in New Gurugram right now. New family requests appear here as they come in; add New Gurugram to your travel areas so they can reach you.
From a tutor's side, the defining fact is supply. Fewer tutors live in these sectors than in central Gurugram, so many families see online tutors first and struggle to find someone who will come to the door every week. If you can reach New Gurugram reliably, even once a week, you are filling a real gap rather than competing in a crowded one.
Most tutors arrive by car or scooter along NH-48 and the sector roads; the metro does not reach these sectors. Because the area is wide and still being built, a sector that looks close on a map can take longer to reach than expected, especially when building traffic is on the road. Check the actual drive at your chosen hour before you commit to a slot.
Tutors who cover the Southern Peripheral Road sectors or the Dwarka Expressway zone, which both border New Gurugram, often travel here too, and a tutor from one of those belts can add New Gurugram without a long extra drive.
Requests cover all boards and classes. Younger children need regular home lessons; senior students and international-curriculum students often accept online classes with a weekly home session, which lets them choose on teaching quality rather than distance. Families near Sector 84 live close to Delhi Public School, Gurugram Sector 84, which follows CBSE; that is a neutral note on the board mix here.
Because so few tutors live locally, families value a tutor who already teaches in their society, and they will often introduce a reliable tutor to neighbours. Two or three students in one society make a long trip worthwhile. Families also tell us they would rather start with a strong tutor online and add a home visit later than wait for someone local, so an online-first offer is welcome here.
Almost every home is in a gated society with a guard, a visitor app or both, and in several sectors the internal roads and gates are still being finished. Ask the family for the sector, society, tower and nearest gate, and ask to be pre-approved before the demo. Once you continue, ask to be saved as a regular visitor.
Tutors who join NXTutors confirm a phone or email with a one-time code and upload a government photo ID that the team reviews; it is an identity check, not a police check. The first class is a free demo with a parent at home, and it can run online if you live far off.
Keep one regular slot rather than moving it, since a family planning around a tutor who comes a long way builds the rest of the week around that class. Weekend mornings are popular: roads are quieter, gates are less busy, and you have fewer competing bookings than on weekday evenings. School buses in the newer sectors can bring children home late, so a longer weekend session plus a shorter weekday online class is a common pattern.
Tutors set their own fees, and travel is one of the things that can reasonably move a quote. Families see your fee before the demo, so they can compare you with a nearby tutor or an online option.
Applying, onboarding, building your profile, the ID check and receiving matched requests on the Free plan cost nothing. The Free plan gives you 160 lead credits every month.
Pro, Premium and Featured are optional platform subscriptions: more visibility, AI tools and more lead credits. They are never a fee to apply for a tuition. See tutor plans.
A family request that fits your subjects, classes, board, areas and hours reaches your dashboard. Opening the family's contact details uses lead credits, and the credit price is shown on the request before you open it. At most 5 tutors can open one request, and a request stays open for 7 days. Credit packs are there if you need more.
You set your own fee. When a family pays for classes through NXTutors, you receive 50% of the fee for home tuition in the first month and the full fee after that, and 70% of the fee for online tuition every month. Payments are held for 7 days, then paid out weekly. How you get paid.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
Sectors 81 to 95, including 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 88, 89, 90, 92 and 93 and the societies inside them. The Southern Peripheral Road sectors and the Dwarka Expressway zone are its neighbours.
Because many families live in New Gurugram and fewer tutors do. Families often see only online options, so a tutor who comes to the door every week is valued.
You set your own fee, and travel can be part of it. Families see each shortlisted tutor's fee before the free demo and compare.
Ask whether the family knows others in the society who need a tutor, keep one fixed slot, and teach two students in the same society on the same visit where you can. Fill the rest of the week with online students.
