Now taking on home, online and hybrid tutors · in Gurgaon
Young children are taught at home more than any other age group in Gurugram, and for good reason: a three- to ten-year-old learns better at their own table, with a parent nearby, than on a screen. Families here ask for everything from a nursery or LKG tutor who teaches through play to a Class 4 tutor who can keep homework, reading and maths on track across every subject. If you enjoy teaching small children and can be patient and consistent, this is steady, local work.
No open primary (class 1–5) requests in Gurgaon right now. New family requests appear here as they come in; join now so they can reach you.
Below: the primary-level requests Gurugram families make, the zones where short trips make a full afternoon possible, what parents look for in a primary tutor, and how to win a family at the free demo. Joining is free; you choose your sectors, hours and fee.

For nursery, LKG and UKG, home tuition is play with a purpose. Parents want rhymes and sound games before formal phonics, counting with real objects, crayons and dough for pencil grip, and a story in every session. They are not looking for marks; they want a child who is ready to read, write and count when formal school picks up.
Classes 1 to 5 bring homework support and all-subject tuition: English reading and writing, maths basics such as place value, times tables and fractions, environmental studies, and often Hindi. CBSE dominates these requests, with ICSE close behind, and international-school families ask for help with the IB Primary Years Programme's inquiry projects or early Cambridge English and maths. Some parents ask for Sanskrit or Hindi specifically.
Two kinds of family appear often. One has two siblings close in age and wants a single tutor to take both, one after the other, in the same visit. The other has just moved into Gurugram, frequently into the Dwarka Expressway societies, and wants a child's reading and maths brought up to the new school's level without stress.
Old Gurugram is ideal for primary tutors: Sectors 1 to 23 and Palam Vihar are HUDA plots and builder floors, visits go straight to the door, and the next family is often a few lanes away. Afternoon slots suit children there who get home early. Central Gurugram offers the same mix of houses and floors around South City 1 and Sushant Lok, with easy reach from several directions.
In the gated belts, from Golf Course Extension Road to New Gurugram, the Southern Peripheral Road and Dwarka Expressway, many young families live close together, so one society can hold several primary students. Children there may reach home later from school, so start after the bus drop and agree a time that ends before any visitor cut-off. A tutor living inside one of those societies is often the first choice for parents of small children.
A primary demo should look like a good lesson, not an interview. Bring a short story, a few counting objects or flash cards, and a simple writing task. Let the child talk, notice what they can already do, and tell the parent afterwards in two or three sentences what you would focus on first.
On your profile, say exactly which ages you teach, 'nursery to UKG through play' or 'Classes 1 to 5, all subjects, CBSE and ICSE', and whether you can take two siblings in one visit. List the sectors you can reach at after-school hours. Families see your fee before booking; see how you get paid further down.
Primary families stay with tutors who are reliable. Keep the agreed days and time, arrive a few minutes early, tell the parent in advance about any change, and keep the child's notebook tidy and up to date. Over a term, a parent who sees steady reading and neater work becomes the family that recommends you to the next household in the society.

A family request that fits your subjects, classes, board, areas and hours reaches your dashboard. Opening the family's contact details uses lead credits, and the credit price is shown on the request before you open it. At most 5 tutors can open one request, and a request stays open for 7 days. Credit packs are there if you need more.
You set your own fee. When a family pays for classes through NXTutors, you receive 50% of the fee for home tuition in the first month and the full fee after that, and 70% of the fee for online tuition every month. Payments are held for 7 days, then paid out weekly. How you get paid.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
Yes. Families ask for nursery, LKG and UKG tutors who teach through play: sounds and rhymes, counting real objects, pencil grip and stories. These requests are almost always for home visits.
Often, yes. Parents in Gurugram frequently ask one tutor to take two children one after the other, which works well at primary level. List this on your profile if you are happy to do it.
Old Gurugram and Central Gurugram for short trips between houses, and any gated society where you live or already teach, since young families cluster in the newer belts. Afternoon slots work in older sectors; later starts in the newer ones.
Rarely for very young children, who learn better at home. Some Class 4 and 5 students take short online sessions for homework or reading practice, usually alongside home visits.
Most Classes 1 to 5 requests are for all subjects, so be ready for English, maths, environmental studies and often Hindi. If you teach only English reading or only maths, say so and you will be matched to those requests.
In the newer societies on Golf Course Extension Road, the Southern Peripheral Road and in New Gurugram, the guard or visitor app needs your details before the first class, and some stop visitor entry after a set evening hour. Ask the parent to pre-approve you as a regular visitor and finish well before any cut-off. Plotted homes in Old Gurugram need only a house number and a parking spot.
