Now taking on home, online and hybrid tutors · in MG Road & Cyber City, Gurgaon
The MG Road and Cyber City zone puts a tutor closer to Gurugram's busiest office district than anywhere else in the city. It takes in Sectors 24, 25, 26 and 29, the neighbourhoods of Sikanderpur and Nathupur, the Udyog Vihar side and the homes around Cyber City itself. Housing sits in pockets between office blocks, so a round here is short in distance but shaped entirely by when the offices fill and empty.
No open home-tuition requests in MG Road & Cyber City right now. New family requests appear here as they come in; add MG Road & Cyber City to your travel areas so they can reach you.
That makes this a zone where reliability beats proximity on a map. Families here often have both parents working in the same offices, getting home late, and they value a tutor who can hold a fixed weekday slot through the board months without excuses. Tutors who plan around the traffic, or who mix online and home classes, do well.
The Yellow Line stops along MG Road and the Rapid Metro serves Cyber City, which helps a tutor who travels by train. By road, the catch is that the routes fill twice a day, in the morning and again as offices empty, in both directions. A tutor who lives in the DLF phases, Sikanderpur or a neighbouring sector, or who has already taught another child nearby that evening, tends to be the most punctual.
Sectors 27 and 28 and the DLF phases sit in the Golf Course Road zone next door, and many tutors cover both. If you live there, adding this zone to your travel areas costs little and widens your shortlist considerably.
Families ask across classes and boards, but the pattern of the week is what stands out. A common arrangement is online classes on weekdays with the same tutor, then a longer home session at the weekend when a parent is in. For board-year students, parents want the weekday slot held steady rather than moved around, because rescheduling at short notice is hard when every road is busy at the same hour.
Requests come from every stage, from primary homework help to Class 11 and 12 subject specialists, across CBSE, ICSE and the international boards. Senior students whose parents work long hours often want a tutor who can also take a quick online doubt session before a test. If you are comfortable switching between home and online with the same student, say so clearly on your profile: it widens what you are matched to in this zone more than almost anything else.
Homes here range from apartments in pockets between offices to houses and floors in Sikanderpur and Nathupur. Ask the family whether there is a gate desk or a building entry, and share your details in advance if there is. For online classes, ask for a camera over the notebook so you can follow written work, and keep at least one home class where you see the student's notebook in person.
When you arrive straight from another class nearby, tell the family; it is often why you are on time when others are not. Tutors who join go through an ID check reviewed by the NXTutors team, which is an identity check rather than a police or background check.
Weekday evenings are the hardest hours to keep here, so think in two halves. During the week, an online class at a fixed time spares you a crawl through office traffic. At the weekend, a longer home session when a parent is in covers written work and tests. If you do offer weekday home visits, choose a time well clear of the office peak and keep it the same each week.
Exam months make the pattern stricter. Families with a board-year student want the weekday slot locked in from the start of term, and any change agreed well in advance. A tutor who offers an extra online session before school tests, rather than trying to move a home visit into rush hour, keeps the family's trust.

A family request that fits your subjects, classes, board, areas and hours reaches your dashboard. Opening the family's contact details uses lead credits, and the credit price is shown on the request before you open it. At most 5 tutors can open one request, and a request stays open for 7 days. Credit packs are there if you need more.
You set your own fee. When a family pays for classes through NXTutors, you receive 50% of the fee for home tuition in the first month and the full fee after that, and 70% of the fee for online tuition every month. Payments are held for 7 days, then paid out weekly. How you get paid.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
Sectors 24, 25, 26 and 29, the stretch along MG Road, the homes around Cyber City, Udyog Vihar, Sikanderpur and Nathupur. Sectors 27 and 28 and the DLF phases belong to the Golf Course Road zone.
Yes. The Yellow Line stops along MG Road and the Rapid Metro serves Cyber City. Many homes are then a short walk or ride away.
Because both parents often work late in nearby offices. Weekday online classes avoid the office traffic, and a weekend home session keeps personal contact and handwritten work.
Starting point. Tutors from Sikanderpur, the DLF phases or Sectors 24 to 29, or those coming from another class nearby, handle the office rush more easily than tutors leaving home across the city.
If you live in the DLF phases or nearby sectors, yes. The two zones border each other, many tutors cover both, and families near the edge see tutors from both lists.
