On a map the zone looks like one office district. For a tutor travelling to a home it splits into four quite different kinds of address, and the kind you live in decides most of the practical questions below.
The stretch of MG Road around MG Road metro station is lined with older gated complexes. OpenStreetMap places Beverly Park 2 and Heritage City on the Sector 25 side of the road, and Beverly Park 1 and Essel Towers on the Sector 28 side. The MG Road station sits between two malls, DLF City Centre and MGF Metropolitan, and Wikipedia names Beverley Park, Essel Towers and Heritage City among the housing near it. These complexes have one or two gates, a guard desk and a clubhouse, so a visitor routine is the main thing to set up.
North of the Cyber City flyover, Sector 24 carries DLF group housing such as Belvedere Park and Belvedere Towers, listed close to Cyber City and Sikanderpur station. Further up, by NH-48, the Ambience Island blocks (Caitriona and Lagoon) are listed in the same sector, beside Ambience Mall on Golf Drive. Here the office crowd shares the same roads as the tutor, morning and evening.
DLF Silver Oaks is listed in Sector 26, a sector OpenStreetMap shares with Sikanderpur village. The village lanes are narrow and the addresses informal, so a pin and a landmark do more work than a house number.
Nathupur is mapped inside Sector 24. Like Sikanderpur, it has rented floors and mixed buildings rather than gated towers, and a tutor on a two-wheeler will need to know where to park.
Each line links to that area's own page, where the tutor list, requests and FAQs are specific to it.
Public reporting and resident reviews for this part of Gurugram return to a few themes. We turn each into a planning point; none is a comment on any society or authority.
Coming from Delhi, the Yellow Line enters the zone at Guru Dronacharya, then calls at Sikanderpur, MG Road and IFFCO Chowk before ending at Millennium City Centre Gurugram. All four zone stations opened on 21 June 2010. Sikanderpur is the interchange with Rapid Metro. MG Road station is the one for the condominiums on either side of the malls, and IFFCO Chowk station, in Sector 29, sits near the IFFCO headquarters and Essel Towers.
From Sikanderpur, Rapid Metro runs a loop through DLF Phase 2, Belvedere Towers, Cyber City, Moulsari Avenue and DLF Phase 3. For homes in Sector 24 this loop is often closer than the Yellow Line. The second Rapid Metro line runs south from Sikanderpur towards Sector 55–56, which helps a tutor coming from the Golf Course Road side.
MG Road itself is NH-148A, about 15.5 km from Mehrauli to Gurugram. NH-48 runs along the other edge of the zone, past Ambience Island and Cyber City. Between them the Cyber City flyover, Bristol Chowk on the Faridabad link and IFFCO Chowk are where delays collect. We do not quote travel times here; ask the tutor which route they would take and when they would leave.
The zone is compact, but it is cut into pieces by MG Road, NH-48 and the elevated metro. That shapes which tutor will be on time.
Almost every family home in this zone is behind a society gate, apart from the village pockets. Before the demo, register the tutor with your society's security desk or visitor app, giving their name, phone and your tower and flat. If you continue, ask for a regular-visitor entry so the tutor is not stopped every week. In complexes with more than one gate, say which gate to use, especially where one opens onto MG Road and another onto an inner road.
Keep the first session in a shared room, with an adult at home. Tutors who join NXTutors go through an ID check; see how we check tutors for what that covers. It is not a police check, so use the demo to judge the person. For younger children, some families here ask for a woman home tutor in Gurgaon; say so when you ask and we will include that in the match.
Requests from this zone cover CBSE, ICSE/ISC, IB and Cambridge IGCSE, including families whose children travel to schools in the neighbouring DLF phases. Among the schools we may name, those nearest the zone are in the Golf Course Road zone next door: Shiv Nadar School (DLF City Phase 1, E-Block; CBSE, IB MYP, Cambridge IGCSE and IB DP) and The Shri Ram School (DLF City Phase 3, Moulsari Avenue; ICSE/ISC, Cambridge IGCSE and IB DP). We name them only so you can see which boards come up; we have no tie-up with any school.
For a home tutor the board matters more than the address. Name it on day one, and for IB or IGCSE ask whether the tutor has taught that exact course. Our guide to CBSE, ICSE, IB and IGCSE compares the four, and the IB tutors in Gurgaon page covers the international side.
Short, frequent sessions at home suit young children, and the tutor's starting point matters most at this stage, because a late start eats into a 45-minute class. A tutor already teaching in the same complex or the one across the road is ideal. See primary home tutors for what this stage covers.
Maths and science start to need a subject teacher. Two or three classes a week is a common rhythm, and one maths home tutor in Gurgaon can usually take science too at this level. Fix the days around school activities so the plan lasts the year.
This is where board work begins. Families often split subjects: one tutor for maths, another for science, and English or a language online. Keep the weekday slot fixed through the term; moving it at short notice is hard when every road out of Cyber City is full at the same hour.
Physics, chemistry, maths, biology, accountancy and economics usually need separate specialists, and the pool of people who can travel to one address at the right hour gets smaller. A mix of home and online works well here. For the senior years see Class 12 home tutors.
JEE and NEET students living near a Yellow Line station sometimes combine a coaching batch with one home tutor for doubt-clearing. Plan the home session for the day the batch does not meet, so the student is not doing two long commutes in one evening.
Board papers for CBSE and CISCE students fall mainly in February and March, and CBSE has added a second Class 10 sitting for improvement. IB Diploma exams run in May and November, and Cambridge offers a March series in India alongside June and November. Take dates only from cbse.gov.in, cisce.org, ibo.org and cambridgeinternational.org. As exams come close, evening slots in this zone fill quickly, so agree revision weeks and any extra classes with the tutor a month ahead, and keep online sessions ready for days when MG Road works or rain slow the roads.
One pattern that suits some households here: online on weekdays, a longer home session at the weekend with the same tutor. The free demo is the place to test whichever mode you choose.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
What moves a fee inside that range: the class and board (senior and international courses cost more), the subject (a physics specialist usually costs more than a primary tutor), the length and number of sessions each week, and how far the tutor travels at a busy hour. Online classes often cost a little less because there is no travel. Fees are set by the tutors themselves and appear on each card ahead of the demo.
The zone has little public quiet space of its own. Aravali Biodiversity Park, run by the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram with a citizens' group, lies near Guru Dronacharya station and has trails and seasonal opening hours; it suits a walk between study blocks, not a desk. Usually a study corner at home or the society clubhouse does the job.

AI-first tutoring, with real teachers
You tell us the class, board, subject and where in MG Road & Cyber City you live. Our AI does the slow part of the search and returns two or three tutors who fit, not a long list to scroll. You see each tutor's fee before the free demo, and switching tutor later is free.
Where AI stops and people start
The zone takes in Sectors 24, 25, 26 and 29, the neighbourhoods of Sikanderpur and Nathupur, the Udyog Vihar side and the homes around Cyber City itself. Housing sits in pockets between office blocks. The Yellow Line stops along MG Road and the Rapid Metro serves Cyber City, which helps a tutor who travels by train. The catch is that the roads here fill up twice a day, in the morning and again as offices empty, and in both directions.
That rhythm shapes the whole arrangement. A tutor who lives in the DLF phases, Sikanderpur or a neighbouring sector, or who is already teaching another child nearby that evening, tends to be the most punctual. Many parents here work in the same offices and get home late, so a common pattern is online classes on weekdays with the same tutor, then a longer home session at the weekend when a parent is in. For board-year students, hold the weekday slot steady rather than moving it around, because rescheduling at short notice is hard when every road is busy at the same hour.
NXTutors lists tutors for this zone nearest first: those based around MG Road and Cyber City, then tutors who travel into these sectors, then the wider city, and online tutors last. Tell us your block or society, the subject, class and board, and whether weekday online plus weekend home classes would suit your family. You get a shortlist of two or three tutors who fit, with each one's fee visible before any class takes place. The first session is a free demo, and if the tutor you pick stops working for your child, we find you another at no charge.

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.
| Classes a week | Classes a month | At ₹800 an hour | At ₹2,500 an hour |

| 2 | 8 | ₹6,400 a month | ₹20,000 a month |
| 3 | 12 | ₹9,600 a month | ₹30,000 a month |
In a coaching batch, one teacher's hour is shared by many students, so each family pays for a part of it. At home the whole hour is your child's: the pace, the questions and the homework check follow one student, and the tutor's travel to your home is part of the working day. A small group of two or three children from the same society usually costs less per child, with less individual attention.

Yes, you can ask for a woman tutor anywhere in the MG Road and Cyber City zone, and we will include that in the match. Say so when you send the request. Keep the first session in a shared room with an adult at home, and use the free demo to judge the fit.
Four Yellow Line stations serve the zone: Guru Dronacharya, Sikanderpur, MG Road and IFFCO Chowk, with Rapid Metro from Sikanderpur around Cyber City. MG Road station suits the condominiums beside the malls, and the Rapid Metro loop suits Sector 24.
Near MG Road, home tuition is usually more practical for younger children, because the tutor takes on the evening traffic instead of the child. Senior students sometimes combine a coaching batch with one home or online tutor for doubts, on the days the batch does not meet.
Families in the MG Road and Cyber City zone ask for CBSE, ICSE/ISC, IB and Cambridge IGCSE help. Name the board in your request, and for IB or IGCSE ask whether the tutor has taught that exact course before. Senior IB students may need one tutor per subject.
This zone page covers twelve area pages, from MG Road and both Beverly Park complexes to Sector 24, Ambience Island and DLF Silver Oaks. Each has its own page with local tutors and FAQs, linked in the list above, so start with the page nearest your address.
Yes, tutors who travel to Sikanderpur and Nathupur can be matched, usually arriving by two-wheeler. Village lanes in both are narrow and house numbers informal, so send a map pin, a landmark and a note on where the tutor can park before the first class.
Yes, the Rapid Metro loop from Sikanderpur stops at DLF Phase 2, Belvedere Towers, Cyber City, Moulsari Avenue and DLF Phase 3, which suits Sector 24 homes. Tell the tutor your nearest station and gate, so the walk at the end is planned too.
Around IFFCO Chowk and MG Road, slots that start before offices empty, or later once the rush eases, run on time most often. The junction is under study for a redesign, so agree an online fallback for evenings when works or rain slow the roads.
Yes, NXTutors can match a maths home tutor for families near MG Road metro station, for any class from primary to Class 12. Tutors who can come by Yellow Line are a good fit for the condominiums beside the malls. Name the board and class when you ask.
Yes, some families in this zone mix online and home classes with the same tutor. A common pattern is online on weekdays and a longer home session at the weekend. It keeps the routine steady when weekday traffic around Cyber City makes home visits uncertain.
Yes, tutors who join NXTutors go through an ID check before they are matched with families in the MG Road and Cyber City zone. It is an ID check, not a police check, so meet the tutor at the free demo with an adult present and decide from there.
Yes, but the tutor's starting point matters more than usual. Tutors from Sikanderpur, the DLF phases or Sectors 24 to 29 handle the office rush more easily, and one who has a class nearby just before yours is often more punctual than one leaving home. If evenings are impossible, weekend home classes plus online sessions work well.
Sectors 24, 25, 26 and 29, the stretch along MG Road, the homes around Cyber City, Udyog Vihar, Sikanderpur and Nathupur. Sectors 27 and 28 and the DLF phases fall in the Golf Course Road zone next door, and many tutors cover both, so check both zone pages if you live near the edge.
Often, for part of the week. When both parents work late, an online class on a weekday evening spares the tutor a crawl through office traffic and keeps the slot reliable. Keep at least one home class where the tutor sees your child's written work, and set up a camera over the notebook for online ones.
Because NXTutors shortlists on board, class, subject, your slot and where the tutor starts from, not on the subject name alone. Two or three tutors who fit all of that are easier to compare than a long directory. You see each tutor's fee before choosing one for the free demo class.
